Today's million-dollar question: What is differentiation?

*          *          *

I'm not talking about the Add Maths term here. I'm talking about the act of differentiating one thing from another.

Or, in this case, one class from another.

I don't know if you've noticed, but the Science-stream classes in our school are split into three classes – Alpha, Beta and...

What was it again?

Right, GAMMA.

Do you people forget on purpose or just deliberately leave this out? I don't care if you think the students in Gamma are misfits and deserve to be treated as outcasts. As long as we are students, we have the right to be acknowledged as having the same amount of brain-capacity as the others.

Maybe not Jansen, but that's not the point.

I'm talking about comparing our classes. If you love Beta and Alpha so much, why don't you just demolish Gamma and transfer all the students to the Arts class instead, huh? By all means, change Gamma class into an Arts class.

But don't cast us aside like we don't even belong in a Science class.

And then you've got mood swings. What the frick is your problem, exactly? First, you say that oh, Alpha-Beta this, Alpha-Beta that, then out of nowhere you say shit like "Alpha-Beta semua siap dah. Gamma yang selalu ada masalah."

Well we're not sorry we're humans. Sometimes we forget. We don't do it on purpose. Don't make it seem as if we're incapable of doing ANYTHING. And you're a bunch of unforgiving bastards, you know that? Who the frick cares about what happened last year or the year before? Just before the previous batch of Gamma-ians were terrible, it doesn't mean every Gamma class is going to be a hell lot of a problem.

Anyone would get sick of that attitude. So, if you want us to start behaving like Science students, you'd better start treating us like them.

End of rant.
