~18/12/2012~

Today's million-dollar question: What is the magic behind illusions?

*          *          *

Ola :)

On the 18th of December 2012, I had my very first outing with my friends. No family. No teachers. No chaperones. Just me, Applebutt, Dellie and Xuan.

And it was awesome :)

Well, truth be told, it could've been better. I mean, things could've gone better if we had planned things a little more thoroughly, but all in all, it was a very fun first trip :)

What happened was, I woke up at 9 o'clock in the morning to bathe. That was my original plan, except when I got to my dad's room, I realised he was using it, so I slept on his bed...

... for another 45 minutes.

After bathing, I packed my bag then went downstairs to chill for a while before my dad called and told me he wanted me to print his certificates and such.

-.-

My friends came soon and they had to bear with me while I finished typing all the names on the list. Quite unfortunately, I was short on two pieces of certificate paper so I had Dellie follow me out to Lian Hing where I bought another batch of certificate papers.

Back at home, I printed the remaining two names and then proceeded to pasting the common seals on them. Applebutt, Xuan and Dellie helped stamp the seal onto the common seal thingymajingies too, afterwards.

Got it done with soon enough. Called my dad and we left with the Naza. Took a detour to Solaris first, though. My dad needed to get rice cookers to the kitchen staff. My aunt, Dellie, Xuan, Applebutt and I, on the other hand, went to have lunch at Ichiban boshi. Dad joined us after he was done with his business.

After a really, really, really heavy but satisfying lunch, we left towards Genting.

The trip was long, but the conversations made the ride enjoyable and tolerable until we reached our destination. My dad brought us to the equestrian place from before as a reward for printing the certificates so efficiently but unluckily for me, they had moved the horses, and right as we entered the Naza to continue our journey, we spotted the horses next to the abandoned place but it was too late to visit them so...

:(

Very disheartened after that.

Either way, we arrived at Genting (after a failed attempt to take the cable car up as well since Applebutt has never been on one before) at around 3 something. Aunt and dad checked in for us and got us settled in before leaving us to "jolly".

Meanwhile, my friends and I nuah-ed in the hotel room until 5:30p.m. Met with my dad and aunt then because my friends had a curiosity regarding the Freeze show. My dad got free tickets and we waited around until 7p.m to get seats.

After getting our tickets, we ate dinner at McD's before going for the show at 8:30p.m.

Not bad. The contortionists were cool. Skating performances weren't too shabby as well. However, if you're going to make someone pay RM40 just to stand next to one of the performers, don't even bother. Out of 10 people, only 1 is going to even think about having their pictures taken -.-

I'm exaggerating, but who doesn't, nowadays? :P

After the show ended at 10:30p.m, we bought some snacks at this 77 shop then went back up to the hotel room. In there, we watched The Simpsons' Movie and City of Ember on my laptop before finally resigning to bed :)

That's about it, for the 18th of December.

どっち選んでいい?

Today's million-dollar question: Is there always a guarantee that you'll be loved as much as you love?

*          *          *

Ola :)

Today, quite unfortunately, I had to wake up early. Honestly, I didn't know that it was early, so when my mom came in to wake my sister and I up, I panicked, thinking it was already noon.

You know, since normally, I wake up a few times before noon.

In reality, it was only nine something. My mom needed us up early because we were headed to my ex-music teacher's temple wedding. She married a Sikh so today was supposed to be their traditional ceremony.

Reluctantly (as I always am to get up), I freshened up then went downstairs to have nasi lemak for breakfast. Couldn't finish, though, so I gave half to my dad while I got my stuff in my bag to prepare for take-off.

The travel to the temple didn't take too long. Traffic was a bitch, but when is it ever not, nowadays?

Damn, my teacher looked absolutely stunning in her costume (that's what she called it, so I'll call it that too). Apparently it took two painstakingly long hours to get her makeup and dress on. Not to mention, she had earrings and necklaces to put on too.

Noticed the henna along her hands and legs. She had had that done the day before. The process took three hours.

Can you imagine that? Three hours, just sitting there and having someone else paint something on you, both hands and feet.

It looked fantastic on her, though.

After greeting her and taking loads of pictures, we went upstairs. Had to wear a scarf, though. It's Sikh custom for both the men and women to do that. I don't know what the significance of the scarf is, but we wore 'em anyway.

Told my dad he looked like Hang Tuah :P

The ceremony was long and boring, I won't deny it. Though, my sister and I did more than enough to amuse ourselves. We read the Punjabi translations of what the Head Priest was singing and then just sat as we witnessed an authentic Sikh wedding being performed before our very eyes.

Raymundo and Wynne came for the wedding too.

A feast awaited our arrival downstairs after the ceremony ended. My sister and I shared some stuff on the same plate then chit chatted with my ex-teacher and my sister's friends. Took a heck load of pictures, as usual.

One of my teacher's husband's aunties was being insufferable, though. Wobbling, wobbling here and there and being a pain to everybody -.-

Bleghh~

After a long chat, we finally went to the Cobra Club where the guys were drinking. Apparently, it's Sikh culture to do so after a wedding (and, to some extent, before).

O.O

They were playing The Three Musketeers on the big screen O.O So, while listening to everybody else talking about adult-er stuff, I watched D'Artagnan kick ass.

At 1:30p.m, we set off to drop Raymundo and Wynne off at the First Coach bus station. Bade them goodbye, then went back home ourselves.

Cooped myself up in my sister's room and watched a few episodes of Inukami after that. My sister came in soon after and slept O.O

Dad called me at around 4 something? Told me to go down and wait for some dude and my brother to come back. So I did. Played Pokemon on my SP until the E Excel guy came.

Stayed until my brother came too.

Not too long after, I went upstairs to continue where I left off with Inukami. At about 5:20p.m, my dad came into the room and asked if we wanted to go to Publika for dinner. Said yes, of course, and then proceeded to wake my sister up from her slumber.

Left the house at about 5:45p.m after changing into more presentable clothes. Ate at Ichiban boshi because I wanted to try their ramen. Had some sushi too.

After dinner, my sister, brother and I walked around. Went to the iStore where we checked our the iPad Mini, iPad 4, iPod Touch and various headphones.

Still debating on whether I should get the iPod Touch or iPad Mini. Suggestions, anyone?

Went back to D' Balcony after everything was done. Had a shandy with my sister and shared the chocolate fudge brownie. Lovely, as always.

Used my laptop for a while to start blogging, but after a while the Internet stopped working so I kept my laptop and played with my SP instead.

Reached home not too long ago. Changed into my pajamas and proceeded to continuing where I left off with today's post.

Shall go to sleep soon. Will either peruse my hard drive for things to watch or read some manga first before being yelled into going to sleep, I suppose :P

Today's million-dollar question: How long does it take to regain one's trust?

*          *          *

Ola :)

I was fading in and out of sleep again today. By the time I was really awake, it was 12 o'clock. My mom was cranky about it, as usual, but yeah~ I've grown accustomed to it so...

I learn to tune out :P

Haha~

Anyways, after freshening up, my sister and I went downstairs. I can't remember what I did for a while, but after my mom finished teaching for the first half of the day, they decided to go to the vegetarian shop to have lunch.

-.-

Decided not to because I always end up going there and not know what the hell I want to eat.

So, instead, I went to Kam Hei, where I took-away my dad's order and packed mixed economy rice for myself.

And then, I did an absolutely shocking thing.

...

I ran on the treadmill.

I know, I know. I can see your jaws dropping from where I'm sitting/sleeping/reading/watching/singing/dancing/dying...

I'm getting carried away -.-

Anyways, I watched Law of Ueki while running on the treadmill for half an hour. Half an hour later, I chilled, watched about two more episodes of Law of Ueki then went downstairs to eat what I had packed.

Waited for my sister to finish bathing then did so as well because we had to visit my grandpa. Car batteries went dead, though, so we first waited for someone to come and change the batteries.

Listened to my sister's music playlist of TVXQ songs before reaching our destination. Spent about four hours there. I was watching Itazura Na Kiss.

Had dinner at my grandpa's place. Talked with my aunt a bit then came back home.

Since then, I've been in my sister's room (after she painted my nails with funky colours -.-) using my laptop. I finally finished watching Zero no Tsukaima F. Have to re-download the third season of Shakugan no Shana, though, because mine won't play.

O.O

Okay, then. Mom'll get mad if I don't sleep now, so...

~11/12/2012~

Today's million-dollar question: What is your definition of 'unreasonable'?

*          *          *

Ola :)

I woke up a few times this morning, but officially, it was afternoon. I didn't feel like getting up too soon, that's why I kept fading back to sleep.

Woke my sister up soon after because we were supposed to have both our hairs cut. She awoke soon enough and then we both went downstairs to eat the food my aunt bought for us as our breakfast. Mom got pissed when I told her of our plans because she said we should've left the breakfast food for later and joined her for lunch before going to Smart Cut.

-.-

Bleghh~

While eating, though, my sister somehow managed to persuade me to wait till the next day to have our hairs cut because we might not have had time to do so after lunch. Wasn't happy about it, but I went with it in the end.

So yeah, after eating, we chilled for a while, waiting for my mom to finish teaching before we ate lunch at Kam Hei. Well, in my case, I used my iPad to read Charming Junkie :D Love Umi :P He's so cute.

Hehe~

Ate loh yee mee in Kam Hei and drank iced Milo before setting off to Smart Cut with my sister.

Why?

Because halfway through our food, I told my mom about our changed plans but she said that we would have no time the next day either because we'd be out the whole day. So my sister decided to go after lunch.

Hehe.

Changed my hair style :) Decided to have very, very, very thin hair so Gav had the top part of my head's hair short whilst he left the bottom part of my head's hair long. So, right now, my hair feels very light :)

Awesome.

About an hour – and RM85 – later, we left for home. Sister bathed first, then I followed suit. After doing so, we left towards the Intercontinental Hotel to get my sister's friends.

She took a wrong turn, though, so we ended up at the hotel only half an hour after the time we were supposed to be there O.O

Set off towards D' Balcony Bistro & Bar after that and got stuck in a massive traffic jam. We were literally trapped in the Teana for about 2 hours just moving slowly to Publika.

O.O

We were going mad in the car. My sister and her friends were crapping all the way until we finally  parked the car and entered D' Balcony.

Ate the gourmet chicken pie again. Drank shandy first before iced water.

Not long after, my ex-music teacher joined us, and not long after that, my parents and brother joined us. Sang the birthday song for Raymundo, ate the cake and chatted for a while more before my mom sent me home.

And so here I am now, blogging about my day on my MacBook while chatting with my kau fu. He was wondering why I wasn't asleep yet. Haha.

Oh well, since there's not much else to talk about, I shall stop here :) CIAO!!

だって、好きだもん

Today's million-dollar question: How many farts can one make before he/she faints?

*          *          *

Ola :)

So this post is for today!! I woke up at about 9 something. Actually, I had woken up earlier than that, but I didn't wanna get up because it was too damn early. So, I just waited until my sister called me.

Sure enough, soon she did. Reluctantly, I woke up and went to change out of my clothes before going downstairs. After my brother got ready and I stuffed the things I wanted inside my bag, my sister, brother, Jem and I got into the car to have breakfast near Bandar Kinrara.

It was alright. I had char siew noodles and iced Milo. Jem paid for our drinks. Should've seen my sister's face.

Imitating Gabriel Iglesias: Priceless!!

:P

After breakfast, we sent Jem back to his house and set off towards Petaling Jaya.

Quite unfortunately, we must've taken a few wrong turns somewhere along the way because we were friggin' lost.

I swear, we left Jem's house at around 12 something and only reached our grandparents' place at about 1++p.m.

We got on the right track a couple of times before but obviously it didn't really matter -.-

That aside, after we reached, we realised the maid had also gone off to church with my grandpa and aunt and uncle so my siblings and I had to wait, like, 15 minutes before we could finally get into the house to sit again (when they had returned).

Pretty much just used my laptop the whole time I was there (needed to get all my music from my iPad to the laptop iTunes so I could sync 'em together). My sister sat next to me and played a Line Birzzle marathon until my iPad power ran out -.- Ate apples, though, and talked to my aunt and grandpa for a while.

At about 4 something, we decided we had to go home, so we did. I bathed, as did my siblings, then we all went out to Leisure Mall where we had dinner at Esquire Kitchen.

Wanted to watch a movie (despite the fact we were already watching a movie the following day) but my sister and brother decided against it because my brother had to study and my sister logically explained how our parents wouldn't allow two movies in two nights.

-.-

Oh well...

Went back home after perusing Speedy's anime collection. Have been using the laptop since. I wanted to start watching Kimi Ni Todoke again but after 5 episodes, I switched. Another few episodes and I switched to Pokemon.

Am watching the 21st episode of Pokemon now but I'll be going upstairs (from the music room) soon because I wanna lie on the bed~~ :P

That's about it, then. CIAO!!

新しいものの物語

Ola :)

Guess what? I'm posting this from my new laptop!!

Yes! Yes! I've finally gotten my MacBook Pro!!

Though I had to go through quite a lot of angry moments. For one, my mom had already said yes to getting the laptop for me at one point, but right as I could, my dad wouldn't allow it.

Kept saying that I could wait and that it wasn't necessary for me to get it now. The thing was, we were already at KLCC – Uniqlo, to be exact – so why couldn't I have gotten it then? It would've made less sense if my parents made a second trip to KLCC for the sole purpose of getting the laptop for me.

-.-

Unfortunately, he did not see the logic in my explanation.

Therefore, I did not get it then.

However, finally, after quite a few days of anticipation – and desperation -.- – my dad finally got the laptop for me.

But just when he was finally willing to get it for me, my mom made a sour face -.-

Alright, so the story went like this:

We were going to DFP to watch a concert and the plan was to go early and have dinner before getting my laptop at Machines.

Unfortunately, we got stuck in a jam because God decided to "let it rain". As if that didn't slow us by a by at least 45 minutes, after we finally got settled in Dome's (where we decided to have dinner), they said I would have to wait quite a while before my "toast & eggs with sausages" dish would be completed.

Breathed in, thought for a very long time, then had my sister help me decide on the gourmet chicken pie.

-.-

I thought it would have been alright after that, but about 15 minutes after that, the waiter actually came back and told me that they had already run out of the gourmet chicken pie.

I mean, I don't blame them when they say that their gourmet chicken pie has run out. Truth be told, I'm very well aware of how delicious their gourmet chicken pie is. But the least they could have done was tell me beforehand, and not 15 minutes after you've gone off with everyone else's orders.

*Frowns pointedly at nothing in particular*

So yeah, after they had told me that they ran out of the gourmet chicken pie, I guess I... overreacted and kinda... loudly said, "Then never mind. I won't eat anything."

...

O.O

I couldn't help it, okay??

So anyway, after I shared a mushroom soup with my sister, I took about half of my dad's nasi lemak and then waited until about 8:10p.m before my dad finally glanced at his wrist watch and said to me, "Okay, let's go to Machines now."

Trust me, I may have looked real calm, but my heart was doing somersaults.

Or, in my sister's words: Doing the samba.

Dad and brother followed me up to Machines. Then, in a hurry, we decided on the laptop and casing before brisk walking – like cow – towards DFP for the concert.

The concert was alright. Particularly fancied the last movement of the last piece of the second half of the concert. During the 20-minute break, I just stayed in the concert hall and played with my SP, though :P

Sorry, I'm not the mingling type.

Was tired by the time the concert ended. Didn't appreciate the threat my mom used on me about not being allowed to touch my new laptop until I'd run on the treadmill the next day first, though.

Mind you, I am perfectly capable of knowing when and when not to stop, especially when it comes to things that I know will piss my mom off.

Of course, sometimes I have a funny way of showing it (I'm not denying it), but hearing the words come out from her mouth make it even more impossible for me to obey because it annoys me.

Aiseh~

So yeah, I slept right after I came home. You know, just to show my mom I can live a day without touching the laptop.

-.-

That's about it, then. CIAO!!

~02/12/12~

Today's million-dollar question: How much can a person eat before he/she simultaneously combusts?

*          *          *

Ola :)

Quite sadly, we had to wake up early today. My sister woke me up at 9 and we bathed, freshened up and got dressed before having breakfast in Super Snack once again.

Had a waffle and an iced Milo.

Later, since my sister wanted to go to the conservatory to practice for her jury, my brother and I followed suit. Used the laptops in the keyboard lab while my sister practiced.

She finished pretty soon, though, despite her initial 2-hour practice plan. Watched a few episodes of Rurouni Kenshin on the big Mac in front of the whiteboard.

Some episodes later, my sister placed her violin – I was going to write 'guitar' O.O – in her boyfriend's locker before we left to the University Town for lunch.

We settled for Subway. My sister and I had the egg mayo whilst my brother had some cheese concoction. Drank the fanta orange drink and shared a chocolate chip cookie with my brother.

My siblings and I conversed after that for a while before we eventually left. Walked up to the bus station then to wait for the A2 bus to come along to get us so we could drop some stuff off at the residence. Unfortunately, I had absentmindedly gotten onto the wrong bus, which sent me right back to U-Town.

So I had to walk all the way up to the bus station again.

Upon reaching the hostel, my sister took a short 15-minutes nap while I used my laptop to read the Rurouni Kenshin manga.

T'was a short rest but we felt quite rejuvenated after we left the hostel towards the Kent Ridge MRT. Bought tickets to Bradell and then ate ice cream and waffles at a place called Creamier.

Awesome stuff.

We were really stuffed by the time we finished eating.

Left Creamier after that and met Guam at Toa Payoh to buy stuff at the Toa Payoh Mall. My sister chose a sweater for me and something for herself then we left the place for somewhere else again.

Had dinner at some BBQ place then. Not too bad. Didn't fancy the nachos. What I had as the main course was alright, though. For the drink, I had a mango peach mixture, as did Guam and my sister.

Not long after, my sister and Guam went off somewhere to see stuff while I waited outside.

Before going back to the hostel, my brother grabbed another sandwich at Subway's. Then, we went back.

And now, my sister and I, once again, are watching episodes of Rurouni Kenshin. She had to disappear for a while, though, because she had to settle some stuff with Jem and our brother.

My sister and I will be going to sleep after the 54th episode, though, so I shall end my post here :)

Today's million-dollar question: 1000SGD is worth how many won?

*          *          *

Ola :)

It's finally the time when I'm free from SPM!! Of course, it officially ended on the 27th of November for me, but since I haven't been on the computer for a very long time, my blog hasn't been updated.

Therefore, I am blogging for the first of December 2012. I am currently in Singapore, staying with my sister on campus. Arrived on the 29th of November but I haven't had the good fortune of blogging since I could not access the Internet.

Anyways, today my sister, brother and I decided to just laze about and do nothing. After two movies the day before and a seizure in the toilet, we figured it was enough excitement for me -.-

Yeah, we had watched Pitch Perfect at 2pm and then the second part of Breaking Dawn. My sister wanted to see Renesmee and I was absolutely bananas to see the wolves.

I'll review them later :)

And yes, unfortunately, that night, I suffered a seizure after bathing. I was in the toilet, completely unaware. The next thing I remembered was hearing my sister call me. I had been crying and I was lying down on the floor.

With all my strength, I then pushed myself up and opened the door. My only consolation was that I was in the shower on campus and not the toilet, otherwise I would've had my head knocked into next week.

After drying my hair, I went straight to sleep.

This morning – or rather, afternoon – when I woke up and was talking to my sister about what the eff happened, we deduced that I had had a seizure. I also knocked both the sides of my head as well as my right shoulder near the spine.

It's a good thing it happened at night and not in public for all to see, though the seizure event itself is a horrible thing.

That aside, my sister woke me up at noon today. After bathing, we went to have brunch somewhere but I can't for the life of me remember where.

Oh wait, now I remember. My sister, brother and I joined her friend at one of the makan places in the residence. I had the chicken baked rice and drank iced Milo.

After we ate, my sister, brother and I went back to the hostel where my sister and I watched a few episodes of Rurouni Kenshin before finally departing to Clementi.

Why?

That would be to have dinner at Ajisen Ramen. It's a Japanese restaurant, as I'm sure you've deduced from its name. My siblings and I all had ramen and some sushi which came in a set.

40++SGD later, my sister went to change a portion of SGD to Korean won at a money changer nearby. Left to the hostel again then and continued watching Rurouni Kenshin episodes with my sister.

Today was pretty boring, so yeah~

Invisible - Jason Chen + D

Ever felt so close but yet you're so far away
Ever went down the wrong road
Well if i got to go back, there's only one way
Is if you're coming with me, I'm waiting for you

I've been standing here with my arms out wide
But you just keep on passing me by
I would change your life forever,
If you would just give me the time

Baby love is staring right at you
But to you I'm invisible
I can make your heart feel brand new
Do you even notice me at all?

It's like I'm invisible
Invisible

Everyone's heart is broken, baby, nowadays
Cold shoulder you're frozen, zero degrees
All of your love was stolen
I can replace everything that's missing if you let me in

I've been standing here with my arms out wide
But you just keep on passing me by
I would change your life forever,
If you would just give me the time

Baby love is staring right at you
But to you I'm invisible
I can make your heart feel brand new
Do you even notice me at all?

It's like I'm invisible
Invisible

Let's save each other from this cold world
Promise ill go anywhere you wanna go
Seal it with a kiss on my lips
Lemme know I'm not invisible

And we'll just runaway, runaway, runaway, runaway
Ay-ay-ay

Runaway, runaway, runaway, runaway
Ay-ay-ay

Runaway, runaway, runaway, runaway
Ay-ay-ay

Runaway, runaway, runaway, runaway
Ay-ay-ay

Baby love is staring right at you
But to you I'm invisible
I can make your heart feel brand new
Do you even notice me at all?

It's like I'm invisible

The Best Day - Taylor Swift + D

I'm five years old
It's getting cold
I've got my big coat on

I hear your laugh
And look up smiling at you
I run and run

Past the pumpkin patch
And the tractor rides
Look now, the sky is gold

I hug your legs and fall asleep
On the way home

I don't know why all the trees change in the fall
I know you're not scared of anything at all
Don't know if Snow White's house is near or far away
But I know I had the best day with you today

I'm thirteen now
And don't know how my friends
Could be so mean

I come home crying
And you hold me tight
And grab the keys

And we drive and drive
Until we've found a town
Far enough away

And we talk and window-shop
Till I forgot all their names

I don't know who I'm gonna talk to now at school
I know I'm laughing on the car ride home with you
Don't know how long it's gonna take to feel okay
But I know I had the best day with you today

I have an excellent father
His strength is making me stronger
God smiles on my little brother inside and out
He's better than I am

I grew up in a pretty house
And I had space to run
And I had the best days with you

There is a video
I found from back when I was three
You set up a paint set in the kitchen
And you're talking to me

It's the age of princesses and pirate ships
And the seven dwarfs
Daddy's smart and you're the prettiest lady
In the whole wide world

Now I know why all the trees change in the fall
I know you were on my side
Even when I was wrong

And I love you for giving me your eyes
Staying back and watching me shine

And I didn't know if you knew
So I'm taking this chance to say
That I had the best day with you today

Sorry I didn't include any lyrics to this. Obviously, I wouldn't have been able to find it online because it's a medley that Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo came up with -.-

~30/10/2012~ Part 2

Ola :)

Since it's a continuation from the Part 1 of my day, I shan't include a million-dollar question in this post.

Be warned that this post will be short, though, because nothing interesting ever happens in my life and not forgetting the fact that I've already posted about half of my day in the previous post.

From where I left off, after I bathed, I sat in my bedroom typing out my post for the 29th to be posted onto my blog.

Started raining cats and dogs halfway, though.

When I realised it was raining heavily, I suddenly remembered Snuffles was tied to the back gate so I sped downstairs to shift her.

Oh my God, she was so adorable. When I saw her, she just stared back with her ears perked forwards, batting her eyes because of the rain.

The mutt was wet too, of course. Started barking the second I touched Snowy's chain.

After tying Snuffly to the other side, I proceeded to shifting Pepper onto the table. Dried her like I did Snowy then went back upstairs to resume what I was doing.

When I had finished that, I went downstairs and started drafting my post for the first half of today. Watched a few episodes of Family Guy while doing so.

Mom and Dad left not too long after and I watched an episode of Castle on YouTube before I had tuition at 6:30p.m.

I never knew there could be so many complex questions on logarithm until today. Honestly.

Oh, and I also found out my teacher's really smart. She got 5A+'s, 3A's and an A- for Biology.

O.O

She also likes knitting now and wants to try baking and fishing next.

O.O

After her lesson, I had about 5 minutes to rest before another lesson with my BM teacher.

Lessons ended at about 10p.m. Ate glutinous rice and chicken for dinner while finishing off the Double Down episode of Castle.

Drafted some more on today before going up to my room to continue where I left off.

That's about it, then :)

Today's million-dollar question: Why do people get marital problems?

* * *

Ola :)

This post is for the first half of my day. Since I actually went to school today, the post normally extends to a really, really long one, so...

It's to avoid the possibility of boring my audience to the point of death.

Anyway, I woke up at 5:54a.m today. Set my alarm at 5:45a.m but I wanted to sleep a little more so I just snoozed my phone until I finally decided to get up.

Mom didn't get up to my knocks so I had to call her instead. When she opened the door, I freshened up, changed into my uniform, then went downstairs to drink my I-Shape, take my pills, and waited for my brother to get his ass down before my mom sent me to school.

Chatted with Jasmine for about 10 minutes or so before the assembly started.

Went up to the Exhibition Room after the assembly for a seminar on the 1119 paper by a guest speaker from Cochrane. She wasn't bad, really. She gave us a few useful pointers as well as a few websites we can go to to see all the trial papers in each state.

At 10:10a.m, we were released for recess. Ate 'keropok lekor' and a few sausages before heading to class. Since our BM teacher was MIA for the first 15 minutes, Saki and I went up to Puan Nurul's room where I collected my Cakna Ilmu hamper for writing for the magazine.

Chatted with Puan Shad for two periods in the Star Studio then went back to class in time for Biology.

Biology was alright. Wrote more essays. I wrote them as a draft and sent them to be proofread by the teacher before Saki transferred them to the mahjong paper.

Great teamwork, eh?

Our last subject was English and we spent it in the AV room, watching Astro Tutor TV SPM, which is actually not bad, honestly.

At 2:30p.m, school ended and, after buying an ice cream, my dad came to get me. Managed to persuade him to buy me McD's.

I know, I know. Last time, I swear.

Came back home and ate my stuff before going to bathe.

And that concludes the first half of my day!! Look forward to Part 2 :)

Today's million-dollar question: Why do people get fat?

* * *

Ola :)

Woke up at 10 something today. My alarm had actually rung at 7:30a.m and I would've gotten up, except when I closed my eyes, it was 10 the next time they opened.

My sister had left early that morning and my brother was already in college so only my mom, aunt and I were home. Was going downstairs to update my blog when my aunt called me back up. Said wait.

That was probably my biggest mistake today.

After my reply, I'm sure you can guess what happened next. She came down all grouchy and irritated, nagging and nagging and nagging me. I swear I was THIS close to exploding.

Not trying to be rude, but honestly, once is enough, right? You'd get annoyed too if she kept going on and on about how she's the only one doing any work around the house.

Sheesh.

As if that's not bad enough, after my aunt left, my mom came out of her room and resumed where my aunt left off.

Alright, look here, I understand that she does a lot for us and that we should help out in any way we can. But to say so as if I've never so much as lifted a finger before any of this just ticks me off.

The worst part is, whenever they're in this foul mood, I'm always there. So, naturally, that makes me their target. And it's always more terrible than the previous outburst so I was really pissed off this time 'round.

Ooh, did I mention my DAD also called to lecture me?

-.-

As you can see, all that shit warrants my feelings.

...

I had scrambled eggs for lunch. My mom had originally asked me whether or not I wanted to follow her out to JR Organics but I refused. Didn't wanna eat vegetarian food -.-

So yeah, I ate while watching the last few episodes of Family Guy and Merlin that I had in my iPad. When my mom came back, I had a few Merlin episodes left and I went upstairs to finish 'em off before bathing and going back downstairs.

My mom left the house at around 3:45p.m and I started doing some Biology test papers. Loads, actually. My teacher was stuck in traffic until about 5:45p.m, so...

3 hours later, she left and I started thinking about dinner. I didn't know what to eat, really, so I cooked scrambled eggs again and ate the last of the chocolate cake. Oh, and drank Enercal milk.

After that, I succumbed to the desires of Family Guy and decided to watch a few episodes before going to bed.

Did I mention I'm going to school tomorrow?

Yeah~

That's about it, then :)

Today's million-dollar question: Do dogs have dreams?

* * *

Ola :)

Hmm... If I remember correctly, it was but a few days ago when I mentioned I woke up at about 8, right?

You will really never guess what time I woke up today.

6:45a.m.

Mind you, it was a Sunday and I had slept at 2a.m the night before so I can imagine you might think what on earth could have possibly woken me up from my slumber at that unearthly hour?

My mother.

-.-

She had originally come for my sister. She had wanted my sister's company in procuring a bouquet of flowers.

What for?

To lay upon my grandmother's grave.

A year has passed since her passing and while the sudden memory comes with a sting, she shall always be dearly remembered in our hearts.

That aside, since my sister – infamously being my sister – refused my mother's suggestion because it involves her actually getting up, my mother shifted her attentions to me.

Yes, so I woke up.

After freshening up and changing out of my pajamas, I followed my mother into the market and purchased a handsome bouquet consisting of small daisies, orchids and chrysanthemums to be laid upon my grandmother's final resting place.

Shortly after returning home, we left again towards Semenyih to the memorial place where we met up with my aunt and uncle before heading towards my grandmother's grave.

By my aunt and uncle's request, we said a prayer and sang a hymn. Then we took a few pictures before having breakfast on the way down.

My uncle had some business to attend to, however, and therefore took his leave sometime before the rest of us left altogether.

Bathed when we came back because not too long after, we left again towards PJ to have lunch with my grandpa. Lunch was at Paradigm Mall, at this place opposite Tesco on the lower ground floor. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the place so we'll leave it at that.

Walked around after lunch. Went to Pets Wonderland with my sister and bought a few things we think might repel ticks from our dogs.

Met up with the rest of our famiglia at a shoe shop on the concourse level. Then, I grabbed a lemonade from Auntie Anne's and my brother got a snack from Hot 'n Roll before we quit the place for home.

I'd like to say I studied upon reaching home.

I didn't.

I slept.

Lord knows why I did that. I knew that if I'd slept, I'd wake up really late.

Ugh.

Sure enough, I awoke only at 8:20p.m, to the voices of Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler from Just Go With It, which my brother was watching at that point of time.

After a long and tiring discussion on where to eat, my siblings and I left to met Jem at the service apartment he was staying in. He gave us a brief tour around the 22nd floor before we had dinner at Souled Out.

Went back to his room after that, where my sister, brother and he chatted whilst I read Northanger Abbey for a while before we left for home.

My sister and I watched Northanger Abbey once again on my iPad before I retired to bed.

That's about it, then :)

Today's million-dollar question: What does your name mean?

* * *

Ola :)

Mine means 'warrior', by the way. Celtic. Not too shabby, eh? That explains my 'kia su' nature. Trust me, I put some Singaporeans to shame.

My name also means 'fame', which I could not find more appropriate since I naturally love being know.

Hopefully, for the right things.

O.O

That aside, I woke up at 10:20a.m today. Couldn't afford to sleep in because I had tuition at 11a.m. Didn't have time to eat either, so my stomach was growling all the way through class until I went for lunch at Kam Hei's with my mom and aunt.

After lunch, I went back home and listened to music while keeping the laundry. When I was done with that, I went to bathe and changed into my nice white blouse and corduroys.

Then, I did more Add Maths.

For your information, no, I did not wear such nice clothes just to do Add Maths revision. I was attending a concert later at KLCC so I had to be presentable.

Unfortunately, my sister and brother – whom had gone to see my gramps up in PJ – were returning slightly late so I had to wait a bit. Didn't mind it, though. Just gave me more time to do Add Maths.

Am proud to say I didn't use my iPad while doing any Add Maths work :)

My sister finally came back at around 3 something and we left at about 4:15p.m to KLCC.

First, my sister and I went to Isetan to get some stuff for her. Took quite a while and we only met up with Jem at... 6, I think. Had dinner at Dome's.

Talked and walked for a bit, then went to the hall to seat ourselves.

The concert was alright, I guess. Liked the Phantom of the Opera item, but after that, it got kind of boring.

I've never been a very classical person, so...

:P

Like the Red Cape Tango, though. Catchy, but a teensy weensy bit repetitive.

Then again, who am I to judge? :P

All that aside, after the first half of the concert, my sister and I met Jem outside again before going back in to witness stand-up comedian Harith Iskandar work his magic.

Yes, I laughed till my sides hurt.

They played a Harry Potter item after his 20-minute session, then the concert ended and, after retrieving Jem, we sent him back to his service apartment before retiring to our own home.

And now, for better enjoyment of Northanger Abbey, I bid y'all a good night.

Today's million-dollar question: Why does bad food have to taste so good?

* * *

Ola :)

You will never guess what time I woke up today.

8.55a.m.

Uh-huh, I know. That's why it's snowing outside.

Considering the fact we – my sister and I – only slept at 2 o'clock the night before, this was amazing.

Ah yes, my sister had returned on Wednesday at 11:30p.m so the whole famiglia-minus-the-parents went to get her from Corus Hotel.

Anyways, my sister made me watch Life As We Know It featuring Josh Duhamel so... :) Damn he was cute in that film. That was why we slept late. Not that no one was there to stop us, but my sister and I slept in my parents' room while they were gone, so...

:P

Had breakfast at "Sun Fatt". Ate half-boiled eggs and steamed bread. Rushed straight to the toilet upon reaching home, though.

-.-

Nothing interesting happened after that. Sat in the living room watching a few Dogs 101 documentaries on my sister's MacBook.

The pyrenean mountain dog, akita inu, shiba inu, german shepherd, Siberian husky, border collie and the labrador retriever. They're just so bloody cute. And my sister and I are crazy over anything that looks and resembles a wolf, so... :P

We even watched a few clips of the Crufts Agility Championships 2012. Damn, they send in so many border collies. I guess they can't help being the most intelligent dog in the world :P

Did a shit load of History after that. Listened to music while doing so, but I hardly paid attention to it because my sister was practicing her violin.

When my parents arrived home, we had lunch. An actual homemade lunch curtesy of my aunt. Had a freakishly long talk about what to change my dad's outlet's name to, then went out to see the dogs with my sister.

Freed Pepper from the cage after releasing Snuffly. Then, I searched for ticks whilst my sister smashed 'em with a rock from the garden. I really love Snuffles. Right down to every last bit of fur, so my disdain and feeling of disgust from touching the damn things vanished. All I wanted was a tick-free Snowy.

After killing a few, my sister decided to bathe her. Was glad to because that was our original plan.

When we finished bathing Snuffles, we went to bathe ourselves.

Had a long discussion about ticks with my sister after that and, when we went downstairs, our parents got dressed and we went to OT for dinner.

Had a variety of everything again. Didn't have the usual chocolate brownie dessert, though.

Then again, that doesn't mean I didn't have dessert.

...

...

... My sister and I had Baskin Robbins.

Mwahaha.

Came back home at around 11. Changed into my pajamas then proceeded to moving a mattress into my sister's room where I was spending the night.

That's about it, then :)

Today's million-dollar question: Do you believe in miracles?

* * *

Ola :)

Woke up really late today. 11:30a.m. And even that was because my dad came in and told me it was almost noon.

After freshening up, I went for lunch at Kam Hei's with my dad and brother. Had mixed economy rice and an iced Milo. Went to the office after lunch to help my parents with some stuff. My mom was setting up a trial exam thing for her Yamaha Grade 5 students so I helped print stuff with my dad.

At 2:30p.m, the exam started and after my dad finished the aural test, he instructed me to do stuff while he and my mom went up to examine the first half of her students with the fundamental section.

I got quite bored just staring at them after a while so I asked my mom if I could play with her phone.

And so, until everything was over, I played Line Birzzle on my mom's iPhone.

And at 5 something, it did end.

At 5:51p.m, the whole family plus a family friend went to PJ to get my grandpa because he wanted to have dinner with us. While he prepared himself, the family watched a bit of the beginning of The Deathly Hallows Part 1.

I just love Ron.

Hate Ginny.

-.-

After that, we went to Solaris for dinner. Obviously, at my dad's outlet again. We needed to test the food again, which is, obviously, essential for further growth.

Had the gourmet chicken pie. This time was really good because the crust wasn't rock hard. Unfortunately, we didn't have satay today because there was no more peanut sauce :(

Couldn't have my brownie for dessert either because my mom was there.

Had half of my dad's homemade burger. Awesome stuff but the beef was a bit dry. The pork ribs were rock hard as well. Gramps had fried rice.

Brother had beef lasagna. Mom had spaghetti. Aunt had a little bit of everything.

After dinner, my mom, aunt and I went to BIG to get groceries. Milk and others of the like. Bought mochi again as well as the vinegar pH drink. Wanted to get Baskin Robbins after that but Dad called to say we had to go so...

:(

And just like that, after sending Gramps back home, we departed for ours.

It's currently 10:46p.m as I'm drafting this and pretty early for me to be sleeping in my opinion, but I'm actually pretty tired from the helping and the preparing and the printing and the walking, so an early sleep is what I really need right now :)

Today's million-dollar question: McD's or Pizza Hut?

* * *

Ola :)

Woke up a few minutes before 10 today. Can't for the life of me remember how I woke up, though.

Oh wait, now I remember. My aunt called me when I was still sleeping. I was quite surprised, though, because I remembered not having my phone with me the night before. I guess she found it for me :)

Hmm... I was the only one at home at that time. My brother had gone to see my grandpa and the rest were working. I, on the other hand, had tuition at 12p.m so I just had breakfast to think about.

Decided to make scrambled eggs with Jersey milk whilst watching a few episodes of The Nanny on my iPad.

Heehee.

At 12, lessons commenced. Not too bad. Tiring, of course, but then again, what tuition doesn't suck the energy out of you? -.-

After my tuition ended, I bathed – after taking the laundry in – and then proceeded out to the office where I had 'loh meen' for lunch from next door. When I finished eating, I joined my aunt outside, where I spent my time playing Line Birzzle until 6 o'clock.

My dad and brother and I then went to Tesco via the Teana where my dad exchanged currency money.

My brother and I waited outside.

Mom and Dad had a concert after my mom finished teaching at 6 something so they left. My aunt, brother and I had to think of what to eat, obviously. And, after some deliberation, decided on McD's.

My brother ordered a double McChicken burger. My aunt ordered the 2-pieces chicken and I had the fillet-o-fish. My brother and I both had a large set because we wanted the McShaker. Haha.

When our orders came, you can imagine our surprise when instead of a set of the chicken meal, we got two sets. Unfortunately, the guy had already left, so...

Yeah~

Ate whilst watching The Goblet of Fire of my iPad :P

Did some stuff after that and slept at around 12 something after a few more games of Line Birzzle.

That's about it, then :)

Today's million-dollar question: What are the consequences of jury tampering?

* * *

Ola :)

Sorry, just finished watching the Runaway Jury, based on the Grisham novel of the same name.

Anyways, woke up at 10a.m today. Wasn't supposed to, but I did. Bleghh~

Ate...

Oh, now I remember, I only had brunch because we were going vegetarian for half a day today. Mom's orders. Ate at Kasmir, this place in Brickfields. My mom had chapati and vegetables complimentary from the buffet section.

My dad and I had the buffet.

Brother had a naan, I think. Drank orange juice. Didn't finish my rice. This is why I hate spicy stuff. Bad aftertaste in my mouth.

-.-

Brother was dropped off at MCKL because he had a test to attend after that.

Went home only to find out that my teacher wanted to shift class to tomorrow because she got held at a UPM meeting. Wasn't very pleased with the sudden change, but I wasn't too unhappy either. That just meant more time for me to do Add Maths.

-.-

Honestly speaking, I can't remember what happened after that. These are the consequences of not drafting my blog posts on the days itself. I end up forgetting.

So, sorry, but this is where the fifteenth ends, as far as my memory is concerned.

Today's million-dollar question: Am I crazy or falling in love?

*          *          *

Is it really just another crush?

Ola :)

Finally, the long-awaited time for graduation has come. All those long hours of practising in that stinky music room with the booming sounds from the 'orchestra' outside was finally coming to an end.

Frankly speaking, there's no way in hell I'd miss the noise. I need my ears for various reasons, thank you.

Anyways, I woke up really early today. Woke up at 5:45a.m, bathed then pissed my mom off unintentionally when I woke her up to iron my blouse.

Yeah, probably not the best idea.

-.-

My dad sent me at around 6:45a.m and I reached the institute slightly before 7a.m. Got really mad when I found out the function actually really starts at 9a.m.

Naufifi arrived not long after, followed by Kanga, in a stunning ensemble. Cleo joined us soon after we assembled and we oggled her holeful thigh-high dress and black leggings. And damn were her heels high.

If I'm not wrong, Kanga said she could run in those O.O

Anyways, turns out the reason they had arranged it to be at 7:30a.m was so that more time could be given for registration.

I know, I know. How long can registration take, right?

Try about an hour O.O

There were still people registering even when the students were beginning to enter the hall.

Events soon started and, since I was assigned the honourable duty of writing the report for the school's magazine, I had to record everything into my phone so I wouldn't forget.

Quite unfortunately, when it was time to sing the national anthem, my teacher saw me using my phone - no doubt she was thinking I was texting someone - and ordered me to put it aside immediately.

Dude, you really think I, of all people, would be texting or doing things unrelated to the present situation or event for no good reason?

Woman, get off my back.

All that aside, after the national anthem was sung, we saw a slideshow by one of our classmates. T'was touching, to say the least. There was only one closeup of me, thank God.

:P

After that, we heard three speeches from our Head Prefect, our Headmistress and the Yang Berbahagia dude. Wasn't too bad on the ears, I guess. Motivational, I can give them credit for that element in their speeches, at least.

The book thingymajing was then handed to us. After my class was called and those involved had taken the small booklet, the whole band of us went outside to prepare everything.

Won't deny, I was shaking like Pepper after a rainstorm. Giddy and completely high with anxiety.

Can't blame me, right? We had not practiced before that in the morning, so...

When they called us in, I was smiling like an idiot. Not because I wanted to, but because my muscles kinda froze after entering the hall.

Truth be told, it wasn't that bad. I liked how we sang My Wish. There was a glitch in Crush and Cleo didn't sing as well as usual, but then again, I forgot some stuff I wanted to do too, so...

Plus, I don't know if Cleo and Kanga felt the same, but I was shaking all the way. So bloody nervous.

Was glad when it was over. The ceremony continued and we returned to our seats.

Nothing much after that. I ate lunch with a bunch of friends then went home - after a crazy hunt for my guitar which I conveniently forgot about -.- There was a picture-taking frenzy too which I might or might not have tried to mostly stay out of.

:P

Can't remember what I did after that, honestly. I just remembered my family and I - minus my mom because she had an alumni reunion at the Royal Lake Garden - went for dinner at Solaris. Tried the new menu and discussed about various stuff before going to PJ to see my gramps, whom had fallen a few days before.

At around 12, Dad got a call from Mom and we went home after my mom came back with my aunt.

Slept.

That's about it, then. CIAO!!

Echo - Jason Walker + D

Hello, hello
Anybody out there? 'Cause I don't hear a sound
Alone, alone
I don't really know where the world is but I miss it now

I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name
Like a fool at the top of my lungs
Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I'm alright
But it's never enough

'Cause my echo, echo
Is the only voice coming back
My shadow, shadow
Is the only friend that I have

Listen, listen
I would take a whisper if that's all you had to give
But it isn't, isn't
You could come and save me and try to chase the crazy right out of my head

I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name
Like a fool at the top of my lungs
Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I'm alright
But it's never enough

Cause my echo, echo
Is the only voice coming back
My shadow, shadow
Is the only friend that I have

I don't wanna be down and
I just wanna feel alive and
Get to see your face again

I don't wanna be down and
I just wanna feel alive and
Get to see your face again

But 'till then
Just my echo, my shadow
You're my only friend and I'm

I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name
Like a fool at the top of my lungs
Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I'm alright
But it's never enough

Cause my echo, echo
Oh my shadow, shadow

I Almost Do - Taylor Swift + D

I bet this time of night you're still up
I bet you're tired from a long, hard week
I bet you're sitting in your chair by the window, looking out at the city
And I bet sometimes you wonder about me

And I just want to tell you
It takes everything in me not to call you
And I wish I could run to you
And I hope you know that everytime I don't,
I almost do, I almost do

I bet you think I either moved on or hate you
'Cause each time you reach out there's no reply
I bet it never, ever occurred to you that I can't say hello to you
And risk another goodbye

And I just want to tell you
It takes everything in me not to call you
And I wish I could run to you
And I hope you know that everytime I don't,
I almost do, I almost do

We made quite a mess, babe
It's probably better off this way
And I confess, babe
That in my dreams you're touching my face
And asking me if I want to try again with you

And I almost do

And I just want to tell you
It takes everything in me not to call you
And I wish I could run to you
And I hope you know that everytime I don't,
I almost do, I almost do

I bet this time of night you're still up
I bet you're tired from a long, hard week
I bet you're sitting in your chair by the window, looking out at the city
And I hope sometimes you wonder about me

Kiss Me Slowly - Parachute + D

Stay with me, baby stay with me,
Tonight, don't leave me alone
Walk with me, come and walk with me
To the edge of all we've ever known

I can see you there with the city lights
Fourteenth floor, pale blue eyes
I can breath you in

Two shadows standing by the bedroom door
No, I could not want you more than I did right then
As our heads leaned in

Well I'm not sure what this is gonna be
But with my eyes closed, all I see
Is the skyline through the window
The moon above you and the streets below

Hold my breath as you're moving in
Taste your lips and feel your skin
When the time comes, baby don't run
Just kiss me slowly

Stay with me, baby stay with me
Tonight, don't leave me alone

She shows me everything she used to know
Picture frames and country roads
Where the days were long
And the world was small

Oh she stood by as it fell apart
Separate rooms and broken hearts
But I won't be the one
To let you go

Well I'm not sure what this is gonna be
But with my eyes closed, all I see
Is the skyline through the window
The moon above you and the streets below

Hold my breath as you're moving in
Taste your lips and feel your skin
When the time comes, baby don't run
Just kiss me slowly

Don't run away

And it's hard to love again
When the only way its been
When the only love you knew
Just walked away

If it's something that you want
Darling, you don't have to run
You dont have to go

Just stay with me
Baby stay with me

Well I'm not sure what this is gonna be
But with my eyes closed, all I see
Is the skyline through the window
The moon above you and the streets below

Hold my breath as you're moving in
Taste your lips and feel your skin
When the time comes, baby don't run
Just kiss me slowly

I'm not sure where this is gonna go
But in this moment, all I know
Is the skyline through the window
The moon above you and the streets below

Hold my breath as you're moving in
Taste your lips and feel your skin
When the time comes, baby don't run
Just kiss me slowly

Begin Again - Taylor Swift + D

Took a deep breath in the mirror
He didn't like it when I wore high heels
But I do

Turn the lock and put my headphones on
He always said he didn't get this song
But I do, I do

I walked in expecting you'd be late
But you got here early and you stand and wait
I walk to you

You pull my chair out and help me in
And you don't know how nice that is
But I do

And you throw your head back laughing
Like a little kid
I think it's strange that you think I'm funny
'Cause he never did

And I've been spending the last 8 months
Thinking all love ever does is
Break and burn and end

But on a Wednesday in a cafe
I watched it begin again

You say you never met one girl who
Had as many James Taylor records as you
But I do

We tell stories and you don't know why
I'm coming off a little shy
But I do

But you throw your head back laughing
Like a little kid
I think it's strange that you think I'm funny
'Cause he never did

And I've been spending the last 8 months
Thinking all love ever does is
Break and burn and end

But on a Wednesday in a cafe
I watched it begin again

And we walk down the block to my car
And I almost brought him up
But you start to talk about the movies
That your family watches

Every single Christmas
And I won't talk about that
For the first time
What's passed is passed

'Cause you throw your head back laughing
Like a little kid
I think it's strange that you think I'm funny
Cause he never did

And I've been spending the last 8 months
Thinking all love ever does is
Break and burn and end

But on a Wednesday in a cafe
I watched it begin again

But on a Wednesday in a cafe
I watched it begin again

Today's million-dollar question: Why can't people have memory chips implanted into them?

*          *          *

Ola :)

No, seriously. Wouldn't the world be so much better if we could remember everything? I, for one, hate not having to remember stuff in my life. Feels like mild amnesia.

Ugh~

Anyways, couldn't skip school again today so I got up and got changed before packing my bags and heading off to school. Since it's a Friday, I could sneak around to the back and line up with the rest of the Form 5's.

After about half an hour of Physics (after the assembly), I went around the school searching for my teachers to receive permission to practice in the music room for Saturday.

Well... after that was pretty much just us practicing, practicing, practicing, practicing and practicing. Ate at about 11 something before Kanga, Cleo and I had a little fun in the music room.

At 1 something, we ate at the canteen, then I decided to go back home. Dad came at about 1:40p.m and he then brought me to eat at Pappa Rich.

I think I would've had to eat at Kam Hei's if it weren't for my mom's two students' parents whose cars were parked right outside our gate, therefore disallowing any entry into our internal parking lot.

-.-

Had my usual D16 (less sugar) but changed my N10 to N11 today. Decided to try something different, you know? I figured too much chicken would be bad for me anyway. Plus, they de-shelled the prawns for me so I wouldn't have to :P

After coming back, I bathed, then printed out my result slip to show my dad before helping my aunt and mom collect the laundry from outside. Halfway, though, my mom asked me to follow her out to the photostat shop. She gave me money after that and I went to buy some food at the cake shop near my house.

They sell a variety of pastries and cakes. I like how the design their cakes. They aren't the really colourful-colourful cakes with green and purple and yellow and red stuff like a rainbow puked all over it, but just simple, cute white chocolate and black forest, blueberry-themed cakes.

Real nice.

Their pastries aren't too bad either. I like their sandwiches but one man's meat is another man's poison, yes?

Returned home after that and then watched 2 episodes of The Nanny while eating the tuna sandwich I bought and drinking the last bit of Enercal.

Mental note to self: Get money from Mom to buy more.

Used the iPad to do a few more things after that. Dad brought us (brother and I) out to The Chicken Rice Shop in Tesco for dinner.

Our main reason for going to Tesco was because I wanted to buy milk, actually. You see, we still have eggs in our fridge and I didn't want to eat scrambled eggs without milk, so... :)

I originally wanted to go to Solaris and get the milk from BIG (as well as the Jersey milk for both my family and my teacher) but my dad said if he didn't have business there, neither did I -.-

Changed into my pajamas after returning from Tesco and then proceeded to drafting my posts for the 4th and the 5th.

That's about it, then. CIAO!!

P/S/S: Graduation performance tomorrow!! AHH~ :P

~04/10/2012~

Today's million-dollar question: Guess who's going to school tomorrow?

*          *          *

Me, duh -.-

Ola :)

As much as I wanted to skip on school today, I had no choice but to go because of graduation preparations -.-

By the way, before I get into more serious details of this marvelous day, be warned that this will be a fairly short post.

O.O

Brother sent me to school today. After dropping me off at the back - by my request (I know, right?) - I went to the assembly hall and joined my class where they were seated.

Today was pretty boring because we had a rehearsal for Saturday's graduation. So... yeah~ Our whole day just consisted of them positioning us for Saturday and then having different teachers go up to talk about our discipline and how we should behave and dress and eat and walk and breathe and live on that day -.-

Ate at our usual recess time, but we had to go back to the hall at 0:30a.m because they still had to measure us for our robes and shit like that.

O.O

They had to filter the performances next.

This was the part of the day I detested the most.

I don't understand the thing about the teachers in our school. Look, I don't care if they're stressing over graduation preparations, because I sure as hell don't remember requesting for one, or crap like that but if I say we're not prepared, we're not prepared.

What part of "we're not prepared" does your almost non-existent brain not fathom?

Insisting that we play? Not giving us time to practice one time at least? Having last minute changes to the band members? Having internal disputes? Having to deal with uncooperativeness?

I'd like to hear if any stupid soul out there could have thought we could perform well.

Because of that one incident, I was in a damn shitty mood the whole day. Not to mention, I then started to have a headache. Thank goodness I didn't get a seizure.

-.-

Had a discussion about what to do after that with Mr Arm, whom now had full control over which performances to allow and which not to.

We're still allowed to play, of course, thank God.

Anyways, after that it was just practice and practice and more practice. Finished at about 3 o'clock.

Went to Kanga's place and did some stuff before my dad came to get me at 5 o'clock. We were talking about what names Kanga wanted to name her children if she were to have any in the future.

She wanted to name her son "Kingsley" O.O

I'm not so much of any name that begins with "King-", so... -.-

Sounds like Kingston, the brand for thumb-drives :P

That aside, when I came back, all I did was change into my pajamas after bathing and then sleeping. Woke up at about 7 something to make myself an Enercal drink and to take my meds before hitting the hay again.

That's about it, then.

~03/10/2012~

Today's million-dollar question: How do messenger birds know where to send their messages to?

*           *          *

Ola :)

I didn't want to wake up today. Was very close to skipping school but I had practice to go to with Kanga and Cleo so skipping school this week was out of the question.

Haiz~

So, after grudgingly pulling myself off from my lovely bed, I went to change out of my pajamas and into my brass band uniform that was mandatory on Wednesdays.

I hate arriving to school early and late on Wednesdays. Why? Well, since it's our "badan beruniform" day, we have to sit according to our respective... "badan"s. And, what with me bringing the guitar and the two bags along, I stick out like a sore thumb.

As if that's not bad enough, I also never see my friends and where they're gathering, so I'm technically always left alone standing.

Luckily for me, though, today I spotted Shuen studying by one pillar so I went to join her. We had a nice long chat before we all went and converged in our groups as the assembly started.

Talking to her really made me see sense. She's had eight A's for her trials. Her only non-A was B+ for English.

Just so you know, I'm sighing very, very heavily right now. I don't think I'll be able to get straight A's for SPM. I'm gonna try harder from now on, especially with Biology.

After the assembly, we went up to class. Well, the rest did, because Kanga, Cleo and I went to see a teacher about our performance.

The one thing I figured out, though, was that Naufifi's group wasn't confirmed a slot during graduation. So, after settling some stuff we needed to settle upstairs, we went downstairs to the music room and began practicing.

We practiced "My Wish" a few times first before we heard about Naufifi's dilemma and how his band's singer wasn't feeling well and therefore could not practice together. He wasn't feeling too happy about it  though, because they had not even practiced ONCE but had to show it to the teacher during rehearsals.

By the way, we're confirmed a place during graduation. The teacher even asked if we were only performing one song because he thinks we can do another one :)

Haha. I'm feeling very proud right now.

Yeah~

At about nine something, though, it was kind of confirmed that Nahd wasn't showing Ho so I had to sing "Faithfully" while the others practiced o  their guitars. Josh brought his cajon thing – like in the Boyce Avenue music videos?

Yeah~

Ate two patties for recess, curtesy of Kanga buying them for me. Practiced some more, then when Mr Arm came in to check in on us again, he suggested Kanga, Cleo and I play one more song as well as incorporate Naufifi's band into our item too since Nahd was a no-show.

After a brief discussion, we agreed.

Well, it was pretty much just more practice, practice and practice after that so...

:)

Finished at 2:30p.m. Ate "nasi lemak" and drank iced Milo. Went to Kanga's house to wait for my parents to get me, which was at four.

Came back, bathed then ate the egg sandwich I just bought room a bakery near our house. Drank iced water too. Then I did some Biology while watching a few movies on my iPad.

It's currently 11:35p.m as I'm writing this draft so I think I should go unless I wanna wake up a zombie tomorrow :P

Today's million-dollar question: Will you love me till death do us part?

*           *          *

Ola :)

I started crying when I decided on today's million-dollar question. Okay, maybe I didn't cry, but I was tearing. Just finished listening to BSB's "I Promise You", so...

:)

Anyways, went to school properly today. Quite unfortunately, though, I couldn't find my tie just as we were leaving for school. Literally left no stone unturned, searching for my tie. And even then, I failed to find it.

When 7:30a.m came, my mom summarised that I had lost it and therefore decided I should buy a new one.

:(

At school, I went upstairs to the koperasi to buy the tie but unfortunately, the teacher that was there said she didn't know where they were kept, so I had to go tie-less for the entire day.

First subject of the day was Chemistry but fortunately for me, my Chemistry teacher was busy and did not have time to teach us. So, I just took out my guitar and started playing random songs.

Obviously Naufifi also wanted to play my guitar. He always does.

-.-

He also had to practice for graduation, though. He was playing the guitar to "Faithfully" with another girl singing it. Can't believe he didn't know the chords, though. That's one thing I don't understand: Why is his place already secured but we have to go through some quality control session with a jack who probably already has his heart set on not letting us perform?

Ugh, whatever, man.

Anyways, during recess, I followed Dellie around as she went from teacher to teacher, asking about stuff related to a bunch of random stuff. Ate a cheese bun :)

After that, I practiced "My Wish" in 5 Beta with Kanga and Cleo. Not bad, really. Miss the guys from my old class, but the guys from my current class are alright to some degree too.

:)

Went back for Bio because 5 Beta's teacher suddenly made an appearance. Bio wasn't too bad, though. She was teaching us how to write for the essay questions which, frankly speaking, we desperately need knowledge for.

The last subject today was English and I practiced the song on my own in my class. Joined up with Kanga and Cleo after school, ate then went to the Judo place to practice.

Had a nice time singing a few songs including the one for graduation. Went back home at 5:12p.m. Cancelled Add Maths tuition because I wasn't feeling well. Watched half an episode of The Big Bang Theory, two episodes of The Nanny and then listened to music while doing my Bio homework.

Ate chicken from the porridge place for dinner, by the way. Drank Enercal too. After that, I went upstairs, drafted today's post after changing into pajamas while messaging Dellie.

That's about it, then :)

Today's million-dollar question: What is your wish?

*          *          *

Ola :)

Before I move on to more serious stuff, let's embrace the new month with a smile and happy thoughts :D

I'm probably saying that with biased feelings because I'm home on a Monday morning :P I absolutely detest Mondays, especially if I'm going to school.

Hate the morning assembly. Hate singing the songs. Hate the long speeches. Hate prize-giving ceremonies. Hate the feeling of my rear-end aching after the farce is over.

So yes, I love that I was home today during school hours.

I still hate today to some degree, though, because I had tuition with my Bio teacher. It's not that I hate the teacher, I have something against the subject itself. Did model test papers again today. The first model paper I did from our last lesson, I scored 20/50. The second and third one, I scored 18/50. Not exactly good for someone having SPM in one month.

The last paper I did surprised me, though. I scored 31/50. And it's all thanks to the fact that I did all the model papers.

You know what this means, right?

Gotta gear up for more :)

When lessons ended at 12:30p.m, I bathed, then locked up the house before having lunch with my parents and aunt at Kam Hei. Had mixed economy rice again and iced Milo.

It was 1:30p.mp.m when my mom and I returned. Helped with the laundry then used the computer to edit the lyrics so I could fit more on one page and save paper. Unfortunately, before I knew it, it was 2:37p.m.

I think I would've seriously sworn if I wasn't too fixated on changing and leaving for school. What pissed me off more was the fact I couldn't find the stupid guitar bag to put the guitar in.

Whoa, whoa, I haven't explained why I was going to school yet, right?

Graduation's this Saturday and Cleo wants the three of us - Kanga, Cleo and yours truly - to perform. I was going to school because we were practicing for it. Quite unfortunately, we were still undecided as to what song we were gonna sing so I had to print out lyrics for the possible songs.

And so, after finally finding the guitar bag - which my aunt had kept - and grabbing a bottle of water, I stuffed the printed lyrics and iPad into my guitar bag pocket then rushed out to where my dad was waiting.

He reprimanded me, of course, but I was in the wrong this time, so yeah~

Once in school, I found Cleo and Kanga in the canteen, eating, so I waited for them to finish before we headed towards the surau together. Learnt that Cleo was the only one that was supposed to perform on Graduation day O.O Not surprised. We still got a chance, though, because the dude said he would let us rehearse until Wednesday before deciding if we were in or out.

-.-

And so, while the band was out-of-tune-ly playing "Stand By Me", we practiced all the suggested songs I printed the lyrics for. Wanted so much to play "You and I" by Celine Dion but I didn't manage to print the lyrics for that O.O Don't know how that happened, but yeah~

We were still undecided when 5 o'clock came. Didn't help that it started raining and my dad had wanted Kanga and Cleo to drop me off opposite our main road so I could walk home. Kanga managed to ask my dad to get me at her house whenever convenient, though.

So yes, I spent about two hours at her place.

Had a whale of a time :) Drank Milo, ate rice with a fried egg, veggie and chicken, curtesy of her grandma.  Then I saw Kanga's stamp collection and browsed her baby pictures.

It was 7:10p.m when Kanga sent me off. My dad then went to get my brother at the station. Since I had my iPad with me and was getting bored with the CD in the car, I played a playlist from my iPad while reading Rewritten, while waiting for my brother. His train was running late so we had to wait quite some time.

It was 8:30p.m when he finally got into the car. Had chicken from the porridge place for dinner before doing Add Maths model papers. Messaged Dellie and Chucky for a while before going upstairs to draft today's post.

THat's about it, then. Am going to school tomorrow, so I gotta sleep early :)

Today's million-dollar question: The iPhone or the S3?

*          *          *

Ola :)

Got really mad with my dad today because he was trying to wake me up. I hadn't gotten much sleep the night before. Plus, I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet.

Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go :P

Anyways, it was 10:30a.m when I finally got up and went to change. After doing so, I took half an Epilim pill and then did some house work with my dad. Laundry, mostly. Oh, and cleaning up after Pepper and Snuffles.

Before I realized it, it was already 11:50a.m, 10 minutes before my tuition lesson with my Add Maths teacher O.O In a rush, I messaged her to give me 10 more minutes then sped upstairs to bathe.

Thankfully, I had time to get the water ready as well as all my books out and on the table. I asked her to coach me on my Bio since that's my weakest subject at the mo. Did a Paper 2 model test paper with her then said goodbye at 2 something.

After that, I had lunch. Mom had bought me the vegetarian fried rice + egg from JR Organic Resources so I didn't have to go out or starve :P

Then, I got around to helping my dad print certificates for an event his company was having the next day.

So kind of him to give me a month's notice, right?

-.-

My dad was sleeping when I was done so I took my iPad, snuck up to my room then finished watching Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate. I think I'll review that after SPM, though. I'll tell you first that it's actually a good anime but I'll give details after the 26th of November :P

Dad caught me at about 4. Ran downstairs and demanded another 5 minutes before he took it away from me. Haha, but I ended up using it again after he left to get my brother from SPCA after his community service.

Sometime before my dad and brother came back, some dudes came around to settle our lawn so I let them in. Don't worry, my dad had called them to come, duh -.-

Anyways, after a while, my brother let me watch a snippet of the pilot episode of the Big Bang Theory. The dude actually downloaded the whole damn first season -.-

I'm gonna have to start clearing stuff from the Mac again very soon. And into my hard drive -.-

Aiseh~

Fed the dogs their dinner, tied Pepper to the railings, apologized to Snuffles for needing to tie her up, then did Add Maths in the music room.

When 6:30++ came, my mom came back. She chatted with her ex-student for a while then we all left to that place opposite our house for dinner.

Grandpa, aunt and uncle joined us from PJ too. Took them a while, but then, this is my aunt we're talking about :P

Bought the Taiwan Popiah from the night market!! Dude, he is awesome stuff. There's always a line at his stall.

It's really delicious.

Bought two, then came back home. The family was talking about which phone my aunt should buy: the iPhone or the Samsung S3.

And, after a 3-hour long debate about which one would be more suitable for my aunt, they left.

I watched an AMV featuring Sana and Akito then drafted today's post. Tied Snuffles to a different place then continued drafting my post until about 12:30a.m, when I prepared for sleep.

Which would be about now :P

Today's million-dollar question: What's the difference between a cathedral and a church?

*          *          *

Ola :)

I didn't go to school today. That wasn't my intention (then again, it never is, eh?). I had originally planned on bringing the guitar to practice whatever song Cleo wanted to sing for graduation.

Unfortunately, I ended up sleeping through my mom's calls for me to get up for school. Bleghh~

The next time I woke up was at about 11 something. My mom called me downstairs to drink the fruit juice my aunt and her had concocted. Today was pineapple and carrot O.O

Just so you know, by the way, I hate the before-taste of the juice. It always tastes better after it's been in your mouth for more than 2 seconds -.-

When my dad came down and finished his drink, I washed both our cups outside. My dad then tightened Snuffly's collar so she wouldn't let herself go anymore.

Sorry, Snow, but especially now that you're in heat, we can't have you bleeding all over the place.

Had lunch at Kam Hei's because Mom needed to be home to teach by 12 o'clock. Mom also noticed that I had a vegetarian meal - with the exception of eggs on my dish. Didn't feel like meat today, so...

-.-

Drank Milo, as usual.

When we came back, I did some stuff on the computer, namely looking out for manga to read.

I should really slap myself. Swore that after this, I would lay off the manga until SPM was over.

Although how long I'll be able to keep that up, I don't know.

-.-

And so I read Monkey High. I think I've read it before, but I'll review it later, anyway. Watched a few episodes of The Nanny too, on the computer, while I arranged the photos I have of Sword Art Online's Episode 12.

Ooh, and I downloaded the first episode of the fifth season of Castle. Don't think I'll be watching that soon, though, because I'm not that thrilled to be watching something after the two main characters get together. That just leaves the possibility of them breaking up.

It could lead to marriage too, but I highly doubt it.

Anyways, the second season of Yumeiro Patisserie is done downloading, which means when my sister comes back from Singapore - and I'm done with SPM - I get to torture her with 63 episodes worth of baking events!!

Haha.

While I spent my time at home, I helped my mom do a lot of house work like drying the clothes and taking in the clothes. When you do it while listening to music, it makes it that much more bearable, really.

At 6:30p.m, I had class with Miss LOL. Chemistry, mainly. Did a model paper that lesson before bidding her hasta la vista. I then finished the last chapter of Monkey High and proceeded to drafting my review for the 12th episode of SAO.

Went to the toilet, then bade my parents goodnight.

That's about it, then.

Sword Art Online Ep 12

Okay, okay, so this is late quite a few days, but anyways, this is the review for:

Sword Art Online Episode 12

Yui's Heart

This episode started off with a continuation from the previous episode, after Yui fainted. Kirito and Asuna let her sleep for a while then met with the bespectacled lady after Yui woke up.

I think it was a cathedral?

The bespectacled lady told her story about how she started the church and where all the children came from.

However, unfortunately for Kirito and Asuna, she had not seen Yui before.

Not long after, someone knocks at the door. It was Yulier, from the Army, there to thank Kirito and Asuna for their splendid work after their run-in with the Army dudes from the last episode.

Yulier was invited inside soon after because she had wanted to ask a favour from Kirito and Asuna after she found out their capabilities as fighters

She then related her story about how her partner, Thinker, had been trapped in a dungeon, thanks to this idiot of a Kibaou. She recapped on these two characters, you see:

Asuna, being the "on-guard" person that she is, said that she would love to help if she could, but only after verifying that Yulier's story was true.

However, after Yui said her story was true, they relented.

I'll admit one thing: I doubted Yulier at first after that sidewards glance she gave them in the dungeon before descending down the steps in the dungeon

But I couldn't doubt Yui, so that feeling didn't last very long

I found the frogs unbelievably annoying. But I guess the lamer they look, the easier it is for Kirito to finish them off.

I was pretty glad he finally got to shine with his two swords. As usual, plenty of action and I loved every minute of it.

:P

Asuna didn't even flinch. She just stayed by with Yulier and Yui -.-

As for Kirito, it's like the exercise he's been waiting for, since all he's done so far was chill with Asuna.

Haha.

What I found funny was the part when Kirito showed Asuna the frog leg and said she could cook it.

Haiz~

Laughed a bit there because she kept throwing away the frog legs that Kirito got from the enemies.

I fully trusted Yulier here because her smile seemed very sincere. Yui was cute to have noticed this was the first time she laughed.

I didn't even notice.

I had to rewind the whole thing just to make sure Yui wasn't lying O.O

And so, Yulier and Thinker met and she ran towards him like they'd not seen each other in years. Expected it to be a trap, though, because he just kept waving.

When he yelled at her to get back, however, I kind of panicked. Didn't know what the hell was gonna happen.

Oh well, Kirito saved her so it was nothing to worry about.

As usual, Kirito immediately took off to battle the unbelievably large monster. I'll just call him the Grim Reaper. Kirito ordered Asuna to take care of Yui and get the hell out of there.

Sadly, Asuna said no. After entrusting Yui to Yulier and Thinker, she joined Kirito in battle.

Didn't help much, though, because the both of them got blasted them off to different parts of the room.

As their lives dwindled to the shade of yellow, however, guess who stepped in?

Haha. Yes. Their very own "child", Yui

The looks on their faces were priceless. Did they actually think she would have stepped in if she was gonna lose?

My personal opinion, but I thought this part was beyond awesome. I have always loved invincible characters. Such examples would be Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin.

I'd give more examples, but I don't wanna waste time thinking.

Made it much more awesome after I saw that she was an immortal object.

Was expecting a much cooler term for her but hey, I'm not complaining.

As Yui was fighting here - and Kirito and Asuna were busy gawking - she reminded me of Shakugan no Shana's Shana

Must've been the huge red, flaming sword and cool, blatant look on her face.

:P

After the battle was over, Yui sat them down and properly delivered her explanations. They were chocked beyond words, obviously.

I mean, they pretty much deduced that she was some kind of unique programme, but I don't think they expected this Cardinal thing or that Yui was capable of doing what she did - or could do.

I think it was very sweet, what Yui said, about wanting to stay by their sides. She felt like she could really be happy if she stayed with them.

Obviously, Asuna couldn't bear it and therefore ran to hug her, saying that they would make it happen.

That's when Yui said that it was already too late. After defeating the Grim Reaper with that awesome power she had, it was bound to let Cardinal know of her actions and her disloyalty  towards them.

She then told Asuna that she would very soon be deleted. And, as she predicted, she started to fade away.

Kirito, outraged, then cursed Cardinal aloud before running towards the keyboard and typing away.

Asuna was wondering what he was doing and he answered that he was storing something

Moments later, he was rebounded, but not before managing to save a piece of Yui that he called her heart.

Asuna cried as she held the small piece - that looked like a teardrop, actually - before they left.

Back at their "lovely little cabin", Asuna is seen looking up towards the sky, reminiscing and anticipating a future with Kirito and, as she called it, their first child.

This is absolutely late and quite unlike me because I'd normally immediately watch it and review it later. This time, however, I only watched the episode 2 days after I downloaded it, 3 days after the episode officially came out.

Why, you ask?

I think the last episode didn't leave me with that much of a good impression - despite my positive review of it - so I thought that the next episode wasn't going to amount to much as well.

I'm actually feeling that with this episode too. While it was emotionally stimulating and cleared up some confusion with how Sword Art Online actually functions, I didn't think Yui would disappear so fast. Asuna's reaction to her deletion made it seem like they'd known her forever.

And quite exaggerated.

Perhaps human feelings can amount to that much in a short time, but this didn't deliver the 'oomph' as good as it could have.

Another thing I wasn't too ecstatic about was Kirito and Asuna's fighting scene with Grim Reaper. The only got hit once. Sure, it was about Level 90, but I really thought they could have fought a little more

I guess I was expecting some really cool action from them since their teamwork should be fascinating, but I was let down. Quite badly, too.

I have no complaints about Yui, though.

I'll give it another merit:

You know sometimes, when you're watching a good movie and when a good scene (usually a sad one) arrives, you get goosebumps?

I got that a lot when I was watching this episode. Of course, particularly, when Yui had regained her memories and let out her feelings

Loved that the teardrop memento of Yui had quite the shape of a heart too. Not exactly identical to an actual human heart with veins popping out, but the one that has a love shape depiction.

So maybe the 10th episode is still, by far, my favourite, but this episode definitely takes second place, for the details of the game and the long-awaited fighting scenes, with a tinge of tragedy towards the end.

Guess now I can only wonder what the next episode will bring, huh?
