まだ欲しい??

Today's million-dollar question: Does it spoil a device to change ports while it's charging halfway?

*          *          *

Ola :)

I got my new phone! Not to broadcast, but I was gonna open with my sister knowing when I realised I haven't even written it in my blog yet.

Haha.

So yes, I got my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I remember it was a Wednesday, and I woke up at 9 o'clock because the previous day, my dad promised me he would bring me to see various (mostly just Maxis) service providers to see if he could get any sweet deals on the Note 3. He had wanted to set up a company account, you see, but unfortunately it was still expensive so no, I'm still the only member in my family (excluding my aunt) whose phone does not allow free 3G access, to a certain extent.

Bleghh~

After ditching Maxis, my dad brought me to Leisure Mall to check the prices. After finding out about several other stuff as well (the Gear watch, for example), my dad took me to some supplies shop to get some dishes and whatnot for an event at the bistro. Took quite a while there. By the time we exited the shop it was already 12 something near 1p.m. We then came back and ate something, though I can't recall what, while watching Jeff Dunham's Controlled Chaos with my dad. He laughed a lot more watching this rather than Michael McIntyre.

One can only wonder why. Haha.

Halfway through, at about 2 o'clock, (Oh, I remember, I ate nasi lemak with my dad), my mom's student's mom called her with news about the Note 3 (Yes, I asked my aunt to ask her. I was desperate. Sue me).

Thankfully, conditions were met and my dad said we could at 3 (though he at first said we could get it from them 3 months from now, to which I for-the-most-part-playfully strangled him).

At 3, we went to Leisure Mall and got the phone >.< Unfortunately, my phone is still naked without a case because the only black one they had decided to go all funky on me. Went to Delifrance after everything everything was settled and came home.

Yes, that's how I got my phone. It was not easy; everyone was planning on next week but I was too eager. Haha. My mom told me I've 'gone to the dark side'.

-.-

Anyway, as for what happened today, I woke up at about 10p.m then freshened up before joining my parents and aunt at Pappa Rich for lunch. Had my usual N012 with the soya milk + pudding. We were originally supposed to eat at the OldTown next door but my parents and aunt decided (after ALL orders were written down) that they had a change of heart.

God -.-

After eating, we came back home and I started doing stuff with my phone. I was mostly writing a lot of stuff and finding the best video and mp3 downloader. At one point Lex was pestering me about more Lukas fantasies so I gave her about 5.

She asked for more O.O

So I gave her another five (all of which were at least 100 words long). My creative juices were summoned once again when she wanted more. So I told her I would give her more at 6 o'clock.

What? I needed time to think and eat dinner as well, right? Sheesh. I also had to bathe first, which was what I did. After bathing, I thought about more fantasies while watching Showtime. Yes, I'm addicted, so sue me.

Steamed some dim sum for dinner. No eggs, surprisingly. Decided against it.

When 6:30p.m came, Lex messaged me for the ideas so I gave it to her. About 6 fantasies, each at least 150 words long. My fingers were well-worn by the time I said I was done. Obviously, she loved it (okay, tooting my own horn here) and wanted more (surprise, surprise -.-). I told her I would give her more only tomorrow.

I was tired and charging my batteries so I couldn't afford to use my phone so much. Not to mention I switched my laptop off too because it pulled an all-nighter yesterday charging my phone.

Ooh, I'm also up-to-date with Big Bang Theory's Season 7. The two latest episodes were alright. Not as good as episode 6, but still enjoyable. Especially the Raj and Howard bits.

Okay, I'm pretty much exhausted right now. I have to pull myself together to read Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Richard III again before Wednesday, so...

Yeah~

That's about it, then.

いろいろことあった, ね?

Today's million-dollar question: Does alchemy exist?

*         *          *

Ola :)

My Psychology Paper 2 just ended yesterday so I have a little more time to do this >.<

The previous night I made the mistake of taking a half-hour nap from 5:30p.m to 6p.m after coming back from school. I wasn't feeling well, you see. So, after a nostalgic lunch at Tung Jing and a long, warm bath, I napped on the music room sofa.

Unfortunately, as I had foreseen, after my alarm rang at 6p.m, I continued sleeping. The next time I opened my eyes, it was 8:20p.m. Bleghh~

Can't remember much of what happened next, except that I had a cup of milk and two KitKat chocolate bars before downloading Michael McIntyre's new show, Showtime, courtesy of my sister finding out about it (and having already watched it).

Hmm... What else did I do?

Ah, forget it.

I'll jump straight to after I tried to sleep. That was around 11p.m, close to midnight. However, after tossing and turning for about 20 minutes or so, I decided to get up. That's when I went to the toilet before heading downstairs. The Michael McIntyre show had already finished downloading so I watched that and laughed like a maniac for an hour and 20 minutes.

After that, I watched his Christmas Comedy Roadshow, which was for another 20 minutes, then got around to continuing Rendezvous for another 2, 3 papers. My eyes started closing at around 4:30a.m so I went to sleep on the sofa again, but without the air-fond. Used a jacket as a blanket.

So this morning, I woke up at 8, supposedly. But I was still too tired to function so I went back to sleep in my bed until noon. At 12:30p.m, my dad messaged me regarding lunch to which I replied that I would wait for my mom before joining him.

Went to send the Teana for inspection then collected my aunt (Tch, like she's an object) before having lunch at Ahroy's Thai Cuisine in Taman Segar. I was SO close to getting my dad to go have lunch at Leisure Mall, but I failed :(

Why Leisure Mall?

For the past few days I've been convincing my parents to get me the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I'm not asking for it for no reason, though. My current phone has troubles unlocking and it has other problems as well. I can imagine what my sister would say: "WHY SAMSUNG?!!"

Well, mainly because I want to try something new. Plus, buying the iPhone 5S at such a price for only a fingerprint scanner? Mmm~

-.-

So yeah~

After lunch, which was filling indeed, we came back home and I did stuff that I can't recall. Again. Oh right, I was watching various Ellen interviews on YouTube as well as those interviews that consist of Jennifer Lawrence, Johnny Depp and Taylor Swift.

Bite me -.-

After watching one Jennifer Lawrence video I decided to download Silver Linings Playbook, because apparently she acted very well there.

Yeah~

Bathed at around 6p.m, if I'm not mistaken. Just as I had finished, my dad asked me to help him change the bed, pillow and bolster sheets in their bedroom. I did so, and after that, finally convinced him to bring me to the Maxis service provider to check out some data plan stuff before getting the Note 3.

Hallelujah.

Helped him with some D'Balcony stuff, then had chicken pie for dinner while watching Showtime again. Dad watched a bit too and laughed along. After watching that and eating the chicken pies, as well as drinking 3 cups of milk, I decided to watch some anime!

So, here I am, watching the 6th episode of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood while drafting my post for today.

I have nothing else to say for today, then.

疲れたのことはあなたの欠陥よ!

Today's million-dollar question: To write or not to write?

*          *          *

Ola :)

I'm really exhausted right now so this post will most likely be very short. Nothing much happened from before. I mean, I wake up, eat, use my laptop, study and then go to sleep.

I exist O.O

Real interesting, right?

-.-

Oh yes, I just recently re-watched Rooftop Prince, since Micky was also in that show. I just love watching him act. The expressions on his face are priceless and I enjoyed the gutsy female lead from the drama too.

Am thinking of finishing off My Princess from before, but not until my exams are over.

I overloaded on Micky, after all >.<

...

That sounded dirtier than intended -.-

Anyway, today I woke up at 6:53a.m. Why so specific? Because I checked my phone, duh. Of course, I was actually supposed to get up at 5:30a.m to study for Business Studies but I was so sleepy I ended up sleeping through my alarms.

Bleghh~

After waking up, I freshened myself in my parents' bathroom, changed and studied until my brother finally got up and decided to leave at 7:50a.m.

I reached college at 8:11++a.m, where I immediately went up to the library to study. Pain joined me not too long after and we were (well, at least I was) rudely interrupted by that person again. Had to excuse myself to drink water because I refused to stay within a mile radius of the both of them.

That person left shortly after and I continued studying, using the library computer to read up on past year questions and the marking scheme.

At around 9:30a.m, Pain said she was hungry so we went down to the canteen where the both of us ate nasi lemak and drank iced Milo. When 10:10a.m came, Prabha came and joined us for breakfast. Continued studying in the canteen, but before we could suggest returning to the library to resume revision, Dellie messaged me stating her intentions to have us accompany her for lunch.

We obliged.

After lunch came and went (I had a roti canai when Prabha came, by the way), we studied all the way to 12:30p.m. That was when we all went upstairs to get everything ready for our exam paper.

T'was alright, I guess. I answered everything. Now it's all up to the examiner O.O

Exam ended at 2:30p.m, but the invigilator watched to 'go over some rules' with us so we were delayed until a good TEN minutes after the paper ended, at 2:40p.m. I went bananas because I was supposed to meet Dellie and go to TS to catch a movie.

She still insisted on watching it despite the 20-minute delay, though. Oh well, I got to see Hiddleston again anyway, so what the heck >.<

At 5p.m the movie ended and I journeyed back to the college to grab my bag and then take the train home. Mom picked me up and dropped me off before leaving to the office.

I, on the other hand, bathed and then watched a few Detective Conan and Big Bang Theory episodes before drafting this post. Will be continuing Rendezvous too because I wanna relax for the rest of the day. You know, since after today, it will be a battle with Psychology to the death -.-

Am thinking of sleeping early too. Tired, remember?

That's about it, then.

~05/11/2013~

Today's million-dollar question: Why do we fear?

*          *          *

Ola :)

I haven't updated these past couple of weeks, yes, yes. I have a reason, remember? I have had exams since the start of October, after all. I swear, I'll be glad when the 20th of November has come and gone -.-

Anyways, as just a brief update on how my life's been, I attended a friend's birthday party on the 20th of October. It was really fun because I haven't been to any of my friend's birthday parties since I was... I don't know... 15 or 16, maybe? That's of course, excluding all the birthday meets in shopping malls – I don't really consider those 'parties'.

The food there was glorious – all hand-cooked by Lex's one and only mother – and although things got a bit awkward at first (since Lex invited her school friends as well and we didn't know the majority of them), but things slowly got smoother as the day settled. Also, the games and Karaoke made everything all the more interesting. Ooh, and the look on Lex's face when I played her my song on the guitar~

Thank God I didn't stumble and make mistakes that would've completely ruined the song.

Alright, so that was the 20th of October. What of more recent days?

Oh yes, my sister just recently came back from Singapore in conjunction with All Souls' Day so we could visit our grandmother's grave together as a family. I made her watch Monster's University, Pacific Rim, as well as the most recent episodes of Big Bang Theory. I wanted my sister to watch Planes too, but I had not downloaded it yet, so...

Which reminds me, I also downloaded Sherlock episodes from Seasons 1 and 2, as well as the first two – and currently only existing – episodes of BBC's Dracula. Looks alright so far, though I'm not so sure of the sex scenes -.-

Big Bang Theory's Season 7's episode 6 is also currently my favourite episode in the season because of Howard's awesome song. He's so cute when it comes to things like making Bernadette happy.

Let's see... What other interesting things happened during these last few days? Oh right, our aunt's maid ran away so she's once again panicking like nobody's business. We try to help as much as possible, of course.

Ooh, and I caught Richard Clayderman's concert on the 4th of November. It wasn't too bad, I guess. I mean, at least the string section was live this time, instead of recorded like the first time I saw himm perform in Genting.

Invited Pow because she seemed to be really interested in catching his show. Asked Dellie first, but she was in Sungai Petani at the time, so she had to miss it.

At the Plenary Hall, I saw Lex and her parents as well as Ah Ming, who was with her friend there.

As for what happened today, I woke up at around 10 something because of my dad. I would've slept for longer if he hadn't butt in. Not to mention, I had to drink the delightfully disgusting cup of lemon extract and a bowl of mixed fruits again. I only thank the heavens my mom didn't include any avocado into the fruit platter today.

Bleghh~

After eating, I used my laptop to do stuff. Can't really remember what, but I think it had something to do with the first episode of Dracula. I also just finished watching the third and final episode of Sherlock's second season. It was certainly exhilarating and I hated James Moriarty. I sincerely wish he died.

That aside, after 12 something, I went out to the office because because my dad insisted on my eating lunch with them. So I did, even though I had already eaten before that. My dad is quite a hard person to say 'no' to, actually.

When I had finished lunch, I came back home, collected the clothes and then continued watching Detective Conan's 5th movie as well as the 15th movie, though I believe the latter came first.

After watching the movies, I suddenly felt like watching this one Korean drama called Sungkyunkwan Scandal. I saw it in the Star Newspaper in the office before we went out to lunch and since I saw that Micky (from DBSK) was the male lead, I had to see what it was about.

I was hooked. I mean, it's not really the kind of show I would watch – since it was set in the Joseon era – but I tried it anyway because I love Micky and a lot of things about the show interested me.

So yeah, I began watching. Ate siew mai and other dim sum stuff for dinner, including a cup of milk, before resuming my thingymajing. I'm trying to finish watching this as soon as is possible so that I can spend the next few days girding myself with my battle armour.

Well, I technically mean studying, but never mind.

So yup, you are currently up-to-date where my life is concerned.
