I woke up at 10++ today and after taking a bath and stuff like that, I went downstairs and got a shock of my life. My mom's eyes were red and she was sniffling, showing signs of her having cried just a few minutes before I came down.

Obviously, I didn't ask what was wrong because, well, grown ups don't usually open up to children *especially their own* so I just did the next sensible thing and kept quiet.

Watched Kobato on my iPod and then used the computer for a little while before my mom went upstairs and came down, in her going-out clothes, asking me to accompany her to Gleneagles.

I agreed.

My mom has been having a really bad sore throat for about three days now and she doesn't know what to do to clear it up. She'd tried taking medication but its effects weren't surfacing, so my mom decided to consult a specialist whom her ex-student *who is also my music teacher* knew.

Thank goodness I bathed or I'd stink the taxi -_-

Took about half an hour to get to Gleneagles Intan because of the tremendous jam -_- Not to mention the taxi driver kinda took us for an excursion around all the narrow lanes and shit. I can never fully trust taxi drivers, don't you think? Especially after that episode of CSI: New York :P

Met my aunt and uncle in Gleneagles because they decided to accompany my mom. Went up to the doctor's room and registered my mom at the receptionist's. God, I strongly dislike that woman. She sounds so rude when she's talking to my aunt and mom.

Eeesh~

When it was my mom's turn, we all went in except my uncle, who only went in to say hi to his ex-classmate from VI. Haha. Weird, eh?

Okay, so my mom has some kinds of infection of the tonsils. The good news is it's not dangerous or lethal and it ain't life-threatening. The bad news is, it's gonna happen again and again and again and again AND again.

You should've seen my mom's reaction.

He also said that during this period of time she should not take anything spicy or hot because it'll make her throat more uncomfortable.

Oh, and it's contagious via water droplets emitting from her mouth, so she has to be extra careful.

More good news, she can eat all the ice cream she wants :P

Had lunch with my aunt and uncle after the consultation. My parents went back first because my dad already had lunch and my mom couldn't afford to eat hospital food.

After lunch, we went back home and I got ready for my tuition at 4 o'clock.

Tuition was okay, I guess. Did Science first for the first 2 hours and did Maths for the remaining hour. Went back with my brother at 7:30 and then had dinner and completed my tuition work for tomorrow.

P/S: I'm only rushing this because my brother wants to use it -_- Grr :P
