~17/06/2012~

Today's million-dollar question: If promises can't be seen, can't be touched, and can't be confined, what are empty promises?

Ola :)

Well, we didn't go swim again -.- I don't know why, we just didn't get up, even after my sister's alarm rang. Twice.

Sleeping at 2 something the next before didn't help, I guess.

-.-

Maybe we'll have better luck next week.

Anyways, after we got up - at around 11 or 12 something, I fed the dogs again then used the iPad for a while whilst waiting for my mom to have her lunch break so we could have lunch together.

Lunch was at the old organic shop. I shared a set meal with my dad and he ordered an extra roti canai to go with his... other dishes.

Then again, we shared the roti canai so... :)

Discussed our plans for later that evening. Since it was a special day, we wanted to go to Koryo-Won, KLCC. Chatted a little more before finally footing the bill.

My dad, mom, sister and I then went across the road to A*Pet's Studio to get more of the dogs' food. Switched to another brand because Pedigree was upsetting Pep's stomach. Don't ask why. We're not veterinarians.

The toy poodle puppy from before was there on the floor within the confinement of the doggy fence and I went absolutely ballistic. It was so incredibly cute, wobbling about with its teenie tiny lamb-like paws. Saw a golden (bronze, actually) retriever taking a bath in the big tub.

ちょかわいい!!

After getting the dogs' food, I carried it back home (like a boss) :P

Bathed upon reaching the house. Sister bathed after that. Lazed around in my sister's room, completing whatever review I was working on. Then, out of nowhere, my sister came back into her room and declared that our plans were drastically altered.

Before we knew it, we were on the way...

...

... to Genting.

I know, I know. Turns out that my aunt wasn't going to not be a total couch potato unless she could do something. Apparently, going to KLCC had nothing to do with her. She didn't want to have to waste time.

So, my dad, being the darling that he is (-.-), decided on the sudden half-day trip to Genting. Dinner proved difficult to settle on because our usual Coffee Terrace was being booked until 8:30p.m for some asshole with a function obviously more important than the appetites of a few dozen other famished people.

Bleghh~

Went to at least three other restaurants but they were all full. Genting Palace was full to the brim, with 8 other groups before our turn. Ming-Ren was also full. Imperial Rama was going to be occupied until 9 o'clock (and it was too damned expensive for just a casual dinner with six of us).

Eventually, we went over to The Eatery. Had my half-boiled eggs with toast. The rest had some barley special drink and lou shi fan and some other heavy stuff. I also vaguely remember noodles and chocolate ice blended (that cost a bloody RM9.50).

After dinner, the adults and the children (I included) went our separate ways. With my siblings, the plan was to dump me at the usual Starbucks place in the First World indoor theme park and then go off on their own while I indulged in my own activities involving the laptop and/or my iPad.

Mostly anime :P I hadn't watched the latest episode of The Legend of Korra, so... :P

Haha.

Unfortunately, the Starbucks was transferred somewhere else. I wanted to settle myself at Pizza Hut but my sister was against it because we just had it the other day. And, with so many people waiting in line, it would be rude to just sit there and use their WiFi till my siblings were done walking around.

It was down to KFC or McD's. My sister then decided that she didn't want to have the KFC/McD's in the indoor theme park so we made our way back to the Genting Hotel side. We were supposed to go to the Starbucks where I could use my card and use the WiFi, but my sister suddenly had a change of heart. Instead, we went to where the arcades were. Settled at McD's.

Her reason was: There'll be too many people at Starbucks. The Internet connection will suck. Let's just go to McD's.

Ordered a drink just to show that we were sitting there for a reason other than the free WiFi. Later, after I got dizzy from listening to music (my sister was watching Once Upon A Song because I recommended she might like it), I ordered a 2-piece McChicken set for my sister and I. Bought a fillet burger for my brother too.

I felt generous.

Leave me alone.

Dad joined us a short while after I finished my chicken(s). Headed over to the Woh Tong place where I got ice cream from the Baskin' Robbins next door. Chocolate chip with cookie dough.

Heaven~

:P

At around 11 something, my aunt finally peeled herself from the slot machines (if that's what she was doing in the casino) and we all went back home. My sister got a little addicted to the blonde dude's song from Once Upon A Song so she was still watching that scene in the car.

I was getting a splitting headache so I tried not to think of anything and focused on sleeping.

Reached home at 12 something and made a lousy attempt to sleep. The migraine was especially stubborn and intent on staying that night. No friggin' idea why.

I must've slept eventually, but I had to slam my palm on my head a couple of times for that to happen. I was thinking I could hit myself unconscious or something -.-

Bleghh~

Okie dokie then :) That's about it for the 17th. CIAO!!

P/S: Please click on my Nuffnang ads :) Thanks!!

P/S/S: You might sometimes be an ass. You might sometimes say stupid things or say one thing too many. You might do little things to make us mad. You might not be punctual all the time. You might be a little stingy more often than not. But I know you do it unintentionally (I hope :P) and no matter what, we still love you.

So thanks for taking care of all of us at home. Thanks for working so hard just to earn a little more dough so we can live a little-more-than-comfortable life.

And Happy Fathers' Day :)
