Virals - Kathy Reichs
Oh-my-God. This is a book you most certainly should not skip out on. Well, this might only be from my point of view, but if you are interested in forensics, a little mystery and a dash of humour, you might want to check this out.
Written by the author who inspired the hit TV series, BONES, in Virals, Kathy Reichs tells the story of young Victoria 'Tory' Brennan. After losing her mother to a drunken driver, Tory was sent to Morris Island where she learnt of the existence of her father, Christopher 'Kit' Howard, a research scientist/veterinarian at an institute on Loggerhead Island, LIRI (I can't for the life of me remember the full name).
Kit was unaware he had a daughter, though, so it was pretty much awkward for the both of them. Nonetheless, Tory settled down reasonably fast. Since then, she'd been attending the Bolton Preparatory Academy (a school for the rich and elite) and made a few other friends. There's Hiram 'Hi' Stolowitski, Shelton Devers and Ben Blue.
The thing is, though, Tory, Hi, Shelton and Ben aren't wealthy people from wealthy families. The only reason Bolton Prep accepted them is because at least ONE member in their respectful families has a job in LIRI. Therefore, the facility funds their studies in Bolton Prep. Quite unfortunately, since they're not rich by name, they get picked on by the people in school.
Technically, they're all they've got. Each other.
And so it is together that they get into trouble. It began with just curiosity. Tory, being naturally curious about everything, found rusted dog tags buried somewhere in Loggerhead Island and was determined to find out what was written on them. So, with her friends, Tory broken into an abandoned research facility in hopes of being able to use their gear to get rid of the rust and decipher the words.
However, after they managed to do just that, Ben hears something upstairs. Once again beaten by curiosity, Tory and her friends went to investigate.
They certainly did NOT expect to find what they found.
Things start to go haywire from there. They not only broke in to the facility that night, but they also broke something OUT. As if that's not bad enough, they run headfirst into more trouble: gunmen - after THEIR lives.
Did not help when they uncovered a dead girl's skeleton either.
Tory is certain everything is connected, but how? And is the Head of the facility in on the secret?
This is pretty much the gist of the story. It gets much more interesting after this, though. I personally think it's awesome. The book has a sequel, thank God for me. Haha. It's called Seizure (I know, right??) I'll be sure to review that once I'm done with it.
Virals is available in various bookstores such as Times, Borders, MPH and Popular. This 454-page paperback costs a whooping RM32.90 but I assure you, it's worth a read. Plus, if you're a member in any of those bookstores (like I am) then you'll get a discount :)

I think you can find the lyrics by yourself, no? I'm actually too darned lazy to listen properly to the lyrics. I know the song is pretty much repetitive, though.

Worldwide - Big Time Rush + D
Wait a minute before you tell me anything
How was your day?
'Cause I been missing
You by my side, yeah
Did I awake you out of your dream?
I'm sorry but I couldn't sleep
You calm me down
There's something about the sound of your voice
I, I, I, I never, never, never
As far away as it may seem no
Soon we'll be together
We'll pick up right where we left off
Paris, London, Tokyo
It's just one thing that I gotta do
Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone
Hello, tuck you in every night
And I can hardly take another goodbye
Baby, won't be long
You're the one that I'm waiting on
Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone, woah
Girl, I'll be thinking about you worldwide, worldwide, worldwide
Girl, I'll be thinking about you worldwide, worldwide, worldwide
Girl, I'll be thinking about you
Yes, I may meet a million pretty girls
That know my name
But don't you worry, no
'Cause you have my heart
It ain't easy to keep on moving city to city
Just get up and go
The show must go on
So I need you to be strong
I, I, I, I never, never, never
As far away as it may seem no
Soon we'll be together
We'll pick up right where we left off
Paris, London, Tokyo
It's just one thing that I gotta do
Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone
Hello, tuck you in every night
And I can hardly take another goodbye
Baby, won't be long
You're the one that I'm waiting on
Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone, yeah
Girl, I'll be thinking about you worldwide, worldwide, worldwide
Girl, I'll be thinking about you worldwide, worldwide, worldwide
Girl, I'll be thinking about you
Whoa, wherever the wind blows me
You're still the one and only girl on my mind
No, there ain't no one better
(Worldwide)
So always remember
(Worldwide)
Always remember, girl, you're mine
Paris, London, Tokyo
It's just one thing that I gotta do
Hello, tuck you in every night on the phone
Hello, tuck you in every night
And I can hardly take another goodbye
Baby, won't be long
You're the one that I'm waiting on

Today's million-dollar question: What's overweight, distraught and finds comfort in dying before next year?
* * *
Ola :) I woke up at 10 o'clock. I know this precisely 'cause we were supposed to leave for home at nine thirty. I know, right? Kinda super late, no?
Woke my sister up and we quickly freshened up (not to mention, pressured my brother and his friends to do the same). We then left.
Grabbed McD's at the outlet near our house. Quite unfortunately, the idiots there didn't take my order, so I was made to share my sister's McChicken burger. Bleghh~
Didn't want to.
Ugh.
After returning home, I busied myself with...
I think I used the computer to download more stuff. Movies, I mean. Ooh, I rewatched episodes from Kimi ni Todoke Season 2 (since it's the only season I have -.-). I was also reading manga whilst watching that. I was reading Skip Beat, Koukou Debut and perusing other works from Yuu Watase. That's the authoress and artist of Fushigi Yuugi by the way :)
Heehee.
Not much happened. At around 5 something, I went out to 8P Concept with my sister to get some stuff for my Christmas baking. Spent a lot.
Trust me, a lot is A LOT.
-.-
After getting that done, I had an early dinner with my sister at the organic shop near my house. Shared two dishes with my sister with an iced soya bean.
Oh my God, I'm currently really engrossed in A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song, so I might not be paying 100% attention when I'm writing this. Sorry.
Was watching Castle up until just now 'cause I absolutely think that the sixth episode of the fourth season is FUREAKYY(??)
Yeah~
I had shake later in the night because I was hungry like shit.
Anyways, that's about it for today. I've got nothing else important to tell. CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: What was the 19th's million-dollar question?
* * *
Ola :) Today I woke up at either 7 something or 8 something. I can't remember, precisely. I was really sleepy but my sister insisted on my waking up. I hated it. Bloody hell.
Obviously -.-
Had breakfast with my gramps, sister, brother and his friends at Kashmir. I had roti canai and the others had other stuff. Can't remember exactly what everybody else had so I'll just leave that detail out.
Returned after eating. Not long after, my sister and aunt went to send my brother and his friends to Sunway. My mind's all foggy trying to remember what I did, but I can't, so I'm just gonna take a stab and say that I was using my iPad.
That's most probably the case, 'cause either that, or I was watching TV.
Hold on, I think that's more likely, because they were showing the E! News Specials. They were showing a short clip of Britney Spears' current life, then the specials for Taylor Swift (which I've watched before) and then the Jonas Brothers.
Didn't finish the latter.
When my brother and all that came back, I had already finished bathing because we were headed out for a church presentation at Glad Tidings later. We arrived at our destination at 7 something nearing 8. The presentation started not long after.
The finishing of the presentation was very satisfying. I liked the whole concept of the UV lights and glowing gloves. They also used the song that Sean first introduced to us, "Who Am I" by Casting Crowns.
Yeah~
When we went home, we ordered pizza in and had a feast.
After that, we watched Transformers: Dark of the Moon with everyone-minus-aunt-and-uncle. Yeah~ Then, we went to sleep :)
That's about it, then. CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: Art thou a retard?
* * *
Ola :) Nothing TOO interesting happened today. I woke up fairly late again, today. My mom was the one who woke me up and related my whole schedule for today.
Was crushed when she said that I wouldn't be able to go to KL Festival City for the half-hour concert because I was to have a lesson with Madame S that afternoon.
So I got my mom to replace it with another day :P
Bad of me, I know, but hey, whatever. I wanted to go to KL Festival City no matter what.
Soon after my mom finished her classes, we set off to Festival City. We chilled around in the office first before the concert started at 2:30p.m. Prior to that, my sister and aunt went to Tomei to look at all their silver gold stuff: rings, necklaces, ear rings et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
The concert ended at 3 o'clock and after my mom treated her students to Gelato Fruity, we went to eat lunch at some kopitiam place. I think it was called Ka Fei Dian.
Can't remember. Should be that, though.
That aside, after lunch, we chilled around a little more - I got my usual Hot&Roll - and then we went home. I can't recall what happened at home, but at around 6 something, we went to OverTime.
Why? We were having dinner with my sister's violin teacher and her family-minus-husband.
Yeah~
It was alright. My dinner was the venison dish again. I'm absolutely in love with it :P After that, my sister, her violin teacher's daughter (very voluptuous, by the way) and I went to Tutti Frutti for ice cream. I had a vanilla cup, my sister had a choco cup and her violin teacher's daughter, Liu Yi had a green apple cup.
Yeah~ We mixed some toppings into our ice cream and then left.
After having my ice cream, we went back, chatted some more, then left with my aunt, uncle and grandpa (who had just come to pick us up from attending a concert) because we were spending two nights at our grandparents' home.
Oh, whoops, I forgot to mention that my brother's two friends also came along because they were headed to Sunway Pyramid the next day to get to Sunway Lagoon.
Anyways~ at our grandparents' place, after watching Around The World In 80 Days with my sister on my iPad, we went to sleep :)

Happy birthday Chucks!! You're the youngest in our form (in our year) but you certainly don't act like it. I'm still glad I met you when I did, though :)
You're a really good friend and I know we've had our ups and downs but in my heart and mind, you'll always be one of my top friends :) I hope you find comfort in knowing I don't think I've ever thought bad about you before :) Haha.
Not something to be TOO proud of, but it's still something :)
May all your hopes and dreams come true, and I look forward to spending our senior year with you and the rest of our friends. I hope that even after our times in high school is up, we'll be able to keep in touch just as much as in school.
Love you :)

Today's million-dollar question: What is your favourite theme song?
* * *
Quote of the day: In vain I have struggled. It will not do.
~#~#~#~#~#~
Ola :)
I woke up at 11 something today. Not a very good thing to be doing, considering I've got to start waking up at 5:45a.m again in two weeks.
Oh my God. Two weeks. It doesn't really register until you say it aloud and realize that two weeks is just fourteen days, right? After Christmas it'll just fleet past and before you know it, I'm 17.
Once again, oh my God.
I shan't dwell too much on the subject, however. I want to savour what little time I have left of the holidays before I'm forced to study again.
God, I hate studying.
I didn't have my shake today. Been skimping on that. Don't breathe a word of it to my mom, please? :P I had fried rice for lunch. Not much, though. Even then, my mom said I shouldn't have eaten quite so much since I was having a finer dinner.
Bleghh~
After lunch, I finally decided to watch the BBC version of Pride & Prejudice that we bought back from Singapore when I was there on my 10-day trip, visiting my sister.
Come 4:45p.m, I was sent to bathe because I was told we would be leaving for KLCC in a matter of utmost urgency. Well, I wouldn't call it quite so urgent, it's just that my sister was supposed to be there since she's performing in the MPYO as CONCERT MASTER.
Yup, you saw that right. She was invited to be the concert master for the occasion. We were very surprised, as we never thought that would happen (not to say I'm belittling my sister's talent, but... ah... oh well :P).
Enjoyed the second half much better than the first. They played some 4-movement Cornish stuff that I guess a person like me would never enjoy at all. The concert ended at 10:55p.m and we then journeyed back home.
Since then I've been stuck in my sister's room, multitasking between reviewing my recently-finished book, Me And Mr Darcy, and posting about the 16th whilst watching the BBC Pride & Prejudice.
That's about it, then :) CIAO!!

Me And Mr Darcy - Alexandra Potter
Okie dokie. I'm on a book-review spree at the current moment. Especially since I've come in possession with three whole books to call my own. Despite having thought that I was duped into buying "A Kiss At Midnight" -.-
Bleghh~
Anyways, this book was written by Alexandra Potter (also the authoress of "Who's That Girl?", and "Be Careful What You Wish For" amongst other works).
As some of our many young literature-loving readers definitely know (and believe, I think), Mr Darcy is almost every Pride & Prejudice fan's dream companion. He's good-looking, wealthy, a man of impeccable behaviour, and as gentlemanly as a man can possibly be.
So of course, what excuse could Emily Albright possibly conjure in order to miss out on a chance to go on a Jane Austen book tour? Albeit it was out of pure luck that she should've seen it in an ad in the local newspaper (trying to think of a reason to NOT follow her best friend Stella to spend her holiday partying in Cancun), she did not doubt she would enjoy the tour.
How could she? It was, after all, a Jane Austen book tour. She absolutely loved Jane Austen as well as her characters (proven by her love for Mr Darcy, whom she professed was her first love).
But it all kind of turns (and flops) upside down when she meets Spike Hargreaves, a The Daily Times reporter who was supposed to interview all the participants of the tour about why Mr Darcy was voted the kind of person ladies most want to go out with.
I know, right?
Their paths crossed, and everything in his character (from his hot French girlfriend, Emmanuelle, to his outrageous behaviour the whole duration of the tour) assured Emily Albright that he was the most disagreeable man she'd ever known in her entire life.
I'm sure you can see where this is going :P
All in all, I guess I can say I pretty much enjoyed reading this. The idea in which this story is based on was very well-planned indeed and though the story's flow might not have been that smooth (only in my opinion) and at times, can be quite confusing, generally I think it was an enjoyable read :)
And it's through this story that you really find that although Mr Darcy is every literature-loving woman's dreamy, fantasy and ideal man, unless you are a woman in that era, such a relationship would never, in a million years, work out.
Well, then :) This is about all I dare say for now. Should you any inclination of reading this book, I shan't despair you by stopping you in any way at all. Haha.

A Kiss At Midnight - Eloisa James
This is one of the books I bought when I was out with Dellie on the 13th. It's called "A Kiss At Midnight" and was written by Eloisa James.
This Regency tale tells the story of young (do you consider a 23-year-old young?) Katherine "Kate" Daltry. As this story takes after Cinderella, you can imagine her parents are indeed dead. She has no other living relatives except for her stepmother, Mariana - whom her father married not long after her mother's death - and stepsister, Victoria.
Needless to say, Kate was treated no more than a girl that did housework. Her mother's dowry became Mariana's - and therefore, Victoria's - and the new missus drove almost everybody out of the estate. So "herself" (as they address her) became the authority of the household.
That was enough to drive Kate absolutely bananas, don't you agree? Didn't help at all when Mariana decided on her own that Kate was to masquerade as her stepsister, Victoria (since she had a swelling lip) to have dinner with her betrothed, Sir Algernon "Algie" Bennet (also known as Lord Dimsdale) and his royal family.
Of course, at first, Kate refused with all her might. They had a verbal argument until finally, Kate relented. Only because she actually cared for Victoria, though, since she was nothing like Mariana.
At the ball, Kate meets Algie's family, which also includes his uncle, the prince. Instantly, she decides he's anything but charming. And, since Kate Daltry was certainly no romantic (she didn't believe in happily ever afters either), she also takes it upon herself to not mind his presence at all.
Naturally, it didn't work. Gabriel, the prince, was possessive and he wanted Kate. Not a very good idea, since he's already promised to another princess. A Russian princess, to be exact, with a humongous dowry, which he needed (and agreed to marry her for) because the castle came with high maintenance.
Copied off the back cover of James' book, a clash of wits and wills ensues.
In the end, Kate and Gabriel eventually fall in love, but I shan't ruin the "surprise". I'll leave that for you to find out.
Personally, I did NOT know that when I found this book in the romance section, it would actually be one of those full-fledged romance stories with vivid descriptions of...
Bleghh~ I can't even type it -.-
Otherwise, with one eye closed and another just enjoying the verbal insults and exchanges, this is really a nice book. Concept of Cinderella is there, obviously, though Eloisa James has done her fair share in adding a few of her own ideas as well as omitting the original's ideas where she sees fit.
I like her godmother as well :P Nothing magical, particularly, but fun all the same :)
You can find this book in all bookstores, I think -.- I found this in the Women's Fiction section in MPH, though. Borders probably has it in the Young Adult's Fiction section. Times and Kinokuniya has it in the Romance section.
I've never seen the book in the second front-cover image I posted above, though -.- Only the blue one with the glass slipper.
Well, then, that's about it :) CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: Have you sinned?
* * *
Ola :) Today I woke up at 7:30a.m because of my alarm. I was gonna get up and get dressed, but my aunt asked me to sleep until 8 because it'd be stupid to wake up early when I was only going out at 9.
So yeah, I slept till 8.
When I got up, I drank my shake and all that, bathed and everything, packed my bag, then waited for Dellie and her mom to pick me up. We were going to Mid Valley to catch a movie and hang out :)
After they came to get me, we went to Mid Valley where we spent breakfast eating at McD's. I got the big breakfast a la carte whilst Dellie had a fillet burger set. Then we got the 11:10a.m show for Arthur Christmas. Yes, I watched it again. But, in my defense, I was watching Puss in Boots later on too (which Dellie has already watched) so it's a give-and-take thing.
Had lunch at Pizza Hut after the movie. Walked around then caught the 3:30p.m Puss in Boots movie. I absolutely loved it. I mean, I was anticipating it since my brother liked it, but this really made my day. I'm so happy I watched it. Can't wait to download it :P
Mwahaha.
Had dinner at Tokyo Shokudo on the Ground Floor. That was after we went to Borders at Gardens. We perused their collection of books before I concluded buying the Virals book I was eyeing since that day in Kinokuniya (which my sister refused to let me buy because she insisted my getting it from MPH). Except the MPH card doesn't offer discounts on the books, they give me points. That's all.
But, to be fair, I only bought the Virals book because it was to be 50% off if I got another book with the same sticker.
And Dellie found Clockwork Prince :P So since they both had the sticker, we both paid for it. I signed up for the Borders card too. Mwahaha. So, technically, I've got an MPH card, a Popular card and a Borders card. All that's left now is Times :P
Mwahaha.
I had also bought A Kiss at Midnight in MPH prior to watching the first movie, by the way :P
Came back from after all that and then continued to download manga to stuff in my iPad to watch the following day. I chose Mekakushi no Kuni (another of Tsukuba Sakura's works). I actually knew of that manga from Sakura but I didn't finish it before this so... :)
Haha.
Whilst waiting for all 40 chapters to download, I read A Kiss At Midnight :) Will review it when I'm done. That's about it for today :) CIAO!!

P/S/S: I didn't know about the MPH's Readers' Circle. I feel like a boob. Next time, I'll read there :P

Ola :) Today I woke up at 7:30a.m because of my alarm. I was gonna get up and get dressed, but my aunt asked me to sleep until 8 because it'd be stupid to wake up early when I was only going out at 9.
So yeah, I slept till 8.

Penguin Revolution
Whoopdie-doo, this is the manga I was typing about in my previous posts. This one's called Penguin Revolution, written and illustrated by one of my newly-found favourite artistes, Tsukuba Sakura.
PEACOCK is an entertainment company - technically a talent agency, really - and its star rankings are divided into three levels. We have the Number 1 (the agency's top talent), the Crows (this category consists of 10 people according to their overall performances) and then we have the Penguins.
Penguins are the lowest ranked in PEACOCK. They are looked down upon and in the manga, it was also clearly stated that they aren't even qualified to have awards et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Cruel, yes, I know.
On the other hand, Fujimaru Yukari has a very irresponsible father who left her, with no notice at all, after his newly-built company went bankrupt. In fact, Yukari would've been left to sleep on park benches had she not caught one of PEACOCK's talents in her school.
Why I say "caught"? It's 'cause Katsuragi Ryou is a 17-year-old masquerading as a girl. She is, actually, a he. Naturally, Yukari is more than surprised and shocked to have discovered that. Nonetheless, had she not, she wouldn't have been offered a job as Ryou's manager.
She accepts, needless to say. Doesn't sound to bad, eh? It's just a job as a manager anyway. No big deal...
... except she has to masquerade as a guy to do that.
Yeah, PEACOCK is that kind of company.
Pause.
No, that sounded way WORSE than what it is actually is. It's just that the company has this kind of... weird policy that all the talents in the agency has to wear disguises in order to protect the company's confidentiality, as well as the talents' privacy when they are just normal people.
So yeah, topsy-turvy everywhere and all over the place :) I personally liked this manga. The only bad thing about it, in my opinion, is that I wished the ending would've been more elaborate. Honestly, they should've prolonged the ending and make it take up one whole chapter instead of a few pages.
Yeah, I'm a hopeless romantic when it comes to manga and anime :) MWAHAHA.
You can read this manga at www.mangaeden.com. Manga Eden is much better than Manga Fox when it comes to its library (Manga Fox doesn't support licensed manga but Manga Eden does).
That's about it, then :) CIAO!!

Cleo へ
Today's million-dollar question: Is eccentricity a defect?
* * *
Ola :) I blogged about the 9th, 10th and 11th in the previous post, by the way :) Before getting into the details of today's events, I'd like to wish one of my very good friends a very happy birthday.
Happy 16th Birthday Cleo! You're probably the youngest person I know (apart from Dellie but that one doesn't really count, does it? :P) in our form. I want you to know that you are a very annoying and irritating person the minute you open your mouth :P But that's also one of your very strong and good points.
These past... (starts counting)... eight years have been very rocky-road for all of us, but I'm glad to say that you've been a constant friend to me :) I mean, like I said, you're annoying, but I guess I can live with that.
For now -.-
Anyways, may your wishes and dreams come true. I hope you have a very wonderful birthday and I look forward to seeing you again next year (I think :P).
~#~#~#~#~
I woke up at...
Oh my God, it just happened today and I can't remember -.- Anyways, all I remember is that one of the first things I did today was wish Cleo happy birthday via phone.
Didn't have my shake today, although I did have some Essence of Knowledge -.- Bleghh~ Ooh, now I remember what I did. Spent the whole of my morning/afternoon writing that poem. It's part of the Ed board assignment I got from Josh. Have to at least start before I become a mad woman on the 30th.
Did I mention the deadline is on the 31st? -.-
God~
Had mi sua for lunch before going out to play with the two dogs again :) I set an alarm with my phone at 1:51p.m because my mom was having students again at 2 so the dogs have to be chained and caged before they come.
Bleghh~
Not so much for Snuffly, but Peps has to be in the cage or she'll run out the gates like a lunatic, looking like a mutated rat.
Speaking of Peps...
That's how bald she is, just in case you were wondering :) I was supposed to upload that picture eons ago but I kept forgetting. It'll take a while for her fur to grow back, but at least her problems would've been gone with time :)
The rest of the day was mostly just me using my sister's laptop to read manga. I've been obsessed with Tsukuba Sakura's works. She is an excellent and superb artist. I love her drawing style. The manga I'm currently reading is called Penguin Revolution. Not the best title to bestow upon a manga, but it's the story I'm interested in, not the title. If something was to be judged solely on its title alone, nobody would read Bleach.
:P :P
That's about it for today. Had the same thing for dinner what I had for lunch. But this time I had corn flakes too :P Am looking forward to tomorrow because I'll be out with Dellie watching movies :) Mwahaha. I finally get to watch Puss in Boots!! :P
Haha.

Today's million-dollar question: Which came first: the chicken or the egg?
* * *
Ola :) Blogged about the two previous days in the previous posts :)
Didn't wake up early again today -.- Aiseh~
Had shake for breakfast this time. I was in my sister's room using her laptop. I wanted to finish reading Beauty Pop :) I've read it before but I wanted to read it again. It's a manga, just in case you were wondering. I've reviewed it before. You can read it here :)
After that, I went downstairs to discuss with my mom where to have lunch. Eventually decided on one place. Went there with my mom, brother and my ex-teacher. Lunch wasn't that bad, but since the management changed hands, the place was so bare. Scarce of customers. It was much better before.
Oh well.
Came back after lunch and used either the laptop or computer again. I forgot which one it was, okay? Sheesh. Let my two dogs out in the garden sometime in the evening. The two of them are just so cute when they're playing with each other. Snuffles doesn't like it when Peps goes near her though -.- Understandable, since that retard always annoys her -.-
Speaking of Snuffly, she's better now. More hyper and all that. Our maid managed to get her to eat, but only if you put one of those dog treats into her bowl -.- Bleghh~
Had dinner with the whole family and my ex-teacher again. Dinner was alright. Fun. Lots of entertainment. Someone held a wedding dinner there, that's why. Not to mention someone in the next room was karaoke-ing. I think I nearly went deaf when the girl screeched the high-pitched notes.
Bleghh~
Sent my sister back after dinner before heading back ourselves. I watched Eragon before sleeping :) That's about it for today. CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: What makes a good poem?
* * *
Ola :) I posted about the previous day in the previous post, by the way. I decided it was time to rekindle to blogging spirit before I never do -.-
I woke up at 12 -.- Not good, I know, but to be fair, I slept very late last night.
That's no excuse, but it'll have to do for now -.-
Since I had only 2 hours before my English tuition with the Madame, I did her work first. It was to find out what Robert Browning was doing and how he was feeling when he wrote "My Last Duchess". It's an absolutely fantastic poem. I love that poem a lot.
Then again, I haven't read many poems so I'm not qualified to say anything like it being my favourite.
Bleghh~
"My Last Duchess" - Robert Browning
That’s my last Duchess painted on the wall,
Looking as if she were alive. I call
That piece a wonder, now: Fra Pandolf’s hands
Worked busily a day, and there she stands.
Will’t please you sit and look at her? I said
“Fra Pandolf” by design, for never read
Strangers like you that pictured countenance,
The depth and passion of its earnest glance,
But to myself they turned (since none puts by
The curtain I have drawn for you, but I)
And seemed as they would ask me, if they durst,
How such a glance came there; so, not the first
Are you to turn and ask thus. Sir, ’twas not
Her husband’s presence only, called that spot
Of joy into the Duchess’ cheek: perhaps
Fra Pandolf chanced to say “Her mantle laps
Over my lady’s wrist too much,” or “Paint
Must never hope to reproduce the faint
Half-flush that dies along her throat”: such stuff
Was courtesy, she thought, and cause enough
For calling up that spot of joy. She had
A heart—how shall I say?—too soon made glad,
Too easily impressed; she liked whate’er
She looked on, and her looks went everywhere.
Sir, ’twas all one! My favour at her breast,
The dropping of the daylight in the West,
The bough of cherries some officious fool
Broke in the orchard for her, the white mule
She rode with round the terrace—all and each
Would draw from her alike the approving speech,
Or blush, at least. She thanked men,—good! but thanked
Somehow—I know not how—as if she ranked
My gift of a nine-hundred-years-old name
With anybody’s gift. Who’d stoop to blame
This sort of trifling? Even had you skill
In speech—(which I have not)—to make your will
Quite clear to such an one, and say, “Just this
Or that in you disgusts me; here you miss,
Or there exceed the mark”—and if she let
Herself be lessoned so, nor plainly set
Her wits to yours, forsooth, and made excuse,
—E’en then would be some stooping; and I choose
Never to stoop. Oh sir, she smiled, no doubt,
Whene’er I passed her; but who passed without
Much the same smile? This grew; I gave commands;
Then all smiles stopped together. There she stands
As if alive. Will’t please you rise? We’ll meet
The company below, then. I repeat,
The Count your master’s known munificence
Is ample warrant that no just pretence
Of mine for dowry will be disallowed;
Though his fair daughter’s self, as I avowed
At starting, is my object. Nay, we’ll go
Together down, sir. Notice Neptune, though,
Taming a sea-horse, thought a rarity,
Which Claus of Innsbruck cast in bronze for me!
Nice, right? It's got a lot of meaning too :) But you gotta read between the lines and all that. Absolutely fantastique.
:)
Anyways, after doing that, I did my Theory work. Bleghh~ Class was at 2:30p.m today because Madame came late. There was a lot of confusion regarding the time and whatnot -.- Lesson went well, nonetheless. Shortly before 4 o'clock, my brother came back from his driving school. He had just finished his 5-hour lecture at Surfine. He needs to go back for the test on the 15th.
Honestly, I'm too scared to think what he'll do once he gets behind the wheel. I don't wanna die so fast. I've got a long life ahead of me.
-.-
Bleghh~
Madame left at 4:30p.m, so I had to bloody rush to finish my Theory work, then go off to the office for my class. Lesson was okay. I got more homework, but it'll be alright for me because I won't be having lessons with them till next year.
Mwahaha :P
Thank God for my family dinners et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
Haha.
After class, I went back home where I used the computer for a while before we all went out for dinner with my grandpa, aunt and uncle from PJ. Had it at the restaurant near the Shell station. Nice, as always. We then went to buy apung from the night market after dinner then proceeded to send my sister off to Bangi for her camp.
I was supposed to go but I stayed at home. She probably resents me a little for that, but oh well :P
Went to sleep at 12 something :) That's it for the 10th. Will blog about yesterday in the next post :) CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: What is insensitivity?
* * *
Ola :) Yes, I've finally decided to blog again. Makes it easier on me to blog on-the-go and I didn't like using my iPad to blog so...
Yup, you guessed it. I am currently using my sister's laptop. Sorry I logged out of your Google account, Che :P
Anyways, this post is about Friday. I woke up late, as usual, and I can't remember if I had shake for breakfast or not -.- That's happening quite frequently lately. Me not having my shake, I mean. Since the Singapore trip I've been a very bad girl :(
Trust me, I'm working on that.
-.-
To be honest, I also can't remember what I had for lunch.
*Enter: first bar of Beethoven's 5th*
Bleghh~ Well, I can remember what happened the rest of the day. Probably because it involved me booking tickets for a movie whilst my sister attended a concert later on. Wanted Puss In Boots so badly but the only showtime they had that day was 5:15p.m (which was the time I logged on to check -.-) and 9:20p.m (which would've been too late). Tried checking the 3D one but it did nothing to help because the only showtime they had for that was at 11 something and unless my sister was planning to leave me in KLCC that night, it wasn't going to happen.
-.-
So for the next hour or so, I was on YouTube, checking trailers of all the possible movies I could watch whilst my sister was in DFP. Finally settled on Arthur Christmas, since it seemed the most suitable for me. (New Year's Eve was reserved for when I was with my family and I wasn't keen on The Muppets.)
Used my sister's credit card (cheh~ :P) to buy the tickets online first. Not long after, I took a bath and we left for KLCC. First thing we did was meet up with Pascal, who was also attending the concert with my sister. After we got him, we went to the food court to have a light dinner. I had my usual Meatball Carbonara from Cafe Milano. My sister didn't eat anything. Pascal had McD.
Left them halfway because I had to collect my ticket. It was 8:00++ at that point of time.
Speaking of the ticket... -.- boy, was it dramatic. Okay, it went like this: I went up to the ticket counter and all that, got out my iPad (because I had keyed in all the numbers I thought would be of importance when I was going to collect the ticket), and showed him all of them so he could pick the right one and gimme my ticket, right?
All the numbers turned out void. I have no friggin' idea what the hell was wrong with it. I even showed him my sister's credit card but no reservations were made with that card, apparently.
Technically, I was left with no movie ticket and I paid RM15 for nothing.
So in the end, I had to purchase another ticket for the same movie at the same time for RM14. Complete waste of my money.
The drama don't end there, of course -.-
I still had half an hour to spare, so I just stood around one of the pillars there and watched the trailers they were showing. Just then, I felt the urge to check my mail. I knew that after booking the stuff I'd get an email because that's what the website said, right? But they had already given me some info after I reserved the ticket online, so I thought the email would just be a repeat.
Whoa, you could imagine my relief-cum-shock when I saw the Booking ID (which was what the guy what asking for). Immediately, I went up to the counter again and tried to clear things up with the dude. The convo went somewhere among these lines:
Me: The Booking ID you're talking about is this, right? (shows him the iPad email)
Guy: Yeah, it's this one.
Me: Is it too late to change?? (at this point, the guy's already shaking his head)
Guy: Sorry, miss, I can't do anything.
Me: Please, please, please, just this once? (at this point, he's looking around)
Guy: Let me check. (he leaves the counter and talks with some guy) Give me your ticket.
I gave him my ticket, he keyed in the Booking ID into the computer, then gave me my ticket and the RM14 I paid. I thanked him endless and then went for the movie.
Woo~ I felt like a complete boob for not opening the mail first -.-
In the cinema, I switched my phone off (like EVERYBODY should do, instead of just switching their phones to silent mode, when watching a movie) and waited.
The movie was alright. Funny, at the very least. But I didn't know until yesterday that James McAvoy was the voice of Arthur. Haha. So cute :P Oh, and Hugh Laurie was the voice of his brother, Steve.
Haha.
So cute :P
The movie ended at around 10:21p.m and after getting out of the cinema, I switched my phone on. Not long after, I got a message from my sister saying Pascal was an ass. Instantly I thought, Oh my God, what did that bastard do now? as I made my way to DFP.
My sister was already done. We hung around a little more before leaving for home. That was when my sister told me what Pascal did.
Came back, used my iPad for a while, then went to sleep :) That's about it for today. CIAO!!

* * *

We Are Young - Glee + D
Give me a second I
I need to get my story straight
My friends are in the bathroom
Getting higher than the empire state
My lover she's waiting for me
Just across the bar
My seats been taken by some sunglasses
Asking 'bout a scar
And I know I gave it to you months ago
I know you're trying to forget
But between the drinks and subtle things
The holes in my apologies
You know I'm trying hard to take it back
So if by the time the bar closes
And you feel like falling down
I'll carry you home
Tonight
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun
Tonight
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun
And I know that I'm not
All that you got
I guess that I
I just thought maybe we could find a ways to fall apart
But our friends in back
So let's raise a toast
Cause I found someone to carry me home
Tonight
We are young
So let's the set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun
Tonight
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun
Carry me home tonight
Just carry me home tonight
Carry me home tonight
Just carry me home tonight
The moon is on my side
I have no reason to run
So will someone come and carry me home tonight
The angels never arrived
But I can hear the choir
So will someone come and carry me home
Tonight
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun
Tonight
We are young
So let's set the world on fire
We can burn brighter
Than the sun
So if by the time the bar closes
And you feel like falling down
I'll carry you home tonight

Do They Know It's Christmas - Glee + D
It's christmas time, there's no need to be afraid
At christmas time, we let in light and we banish shade
And in our world of plenty, we can spread a smile of joy!
Throw your arms around the world at christmas time
But say a prayer - pray for the other ones
At christmas time
It's hard, but when you're having fun
There's a world outside your window
And it's a world of dreaded fear
Where the only water flowing is a bitter sting of tears
And the christmas bells that ring there are the clanging chimes of doom
Well tonight thank god it's them instead of you
And there won't be snow in africa this christmas time
The greatest gift they'll get this year is life
Where nothing ever grows
No rain or rivers flow
Do they know it's christmas time at all?
Here's to you
Raise your glass for everyone
Here's to them
Underneath that burning sun
Do they know it's christmas time at all?
Yeaaah
Feed the world
Let them know it's christmas time and
Feed the world
Let them know it's christmas time and
Feed the world
Let them know it's christmas time and
Feed the world
Let them know it's christmas time and
Feed the world
Let them know it's christmas time and
Feed the world
Let them know it's christmas time

Ours - Taylor Swift + D
Elevator buttons and morning air
Strangers' silence makes me wanna take
the stairs
If you were here we'd laugh about their
vacant stares
But right now, my time is theirs
Seems like there's always someone who
disapproves
They'll judge it like they know about me
and you
And the verdict comes from those with
nothing else to do
The jury's out, but my choice is you
So don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
The stakes are high
The waters rough
But this love is ours
You never know what people have up
their sleeves
Ghosts from your past gonna jump out at
me
Lurking in the shadows with their lip gloss
smiles
But I don't care, cause right now you're
mine
And you'll say don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
The stakes are high
The waters rough
But this love is ours
And it's not theirs to speculate
If it's wrong and your hands are tough
but they are where mine belong and
I'll fight their doubt and give you faith
with this song for you
Cause I love the gap between your teeth
And I love the riddles that you speak
And any snide remarks from my father
about your tattoos will be ignored
Cause my heart is yours
So don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
So don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
But they can't take what's ours
They can't take what's ours
The stakes are high
The waters rough
But this love is ours

Wherever You Will Go - Boyce Avenue *The Calling* + D
So lately, been wondering
Who will be there to take my place
When I'm gone, you'll need love
To light the shadows on your face
If a greater wave shall fall
And fall upon us all
Then between the sand and stone
Could you make it on your own?
If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go
And maybe I'll find out
A way to make it back someday
To watch you, to guide you
Through the darkest of your days
If a great wave shall fall
And fall upon us all
Well then I hope there's someone out there
Who can bring me back to you
If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go
Run away with my heart
Run away with my hope
Run away with my love
I know now, just quite how
My life and love might still go on
In your heart, in your mind
I'll stay with you for all of time
If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low
I'll go wherever you will go
If I could turn back time
I'll go wherever you will go
If I could make you mine
I'll go wherever you will go
I'll go wherever you will go

Pretending - Finn and Rachel *Glee* + D
Face to face and heart to heart
We're so close, yet so far apart
I close my eyes i look away
That's just because i'm not okay
But i hold on, i stay strong
Wondering if we still belong
Will we ever say the words we're feeling
Reach down underneath and tear down all the walls
Will we ever have a happy ending
Or will we forever only be pretending
Will we a-a-a-always a-a-a-always a-a-a-always be pretending
How long do i fantasize
Make believe that it's still alive
Imagine that i am good enough
And we can choose the ones we love
But i hold on, i stay strong
Wondering if we still belong
Will we ever say the words we're feeling
Reach down underneath and tear down all the walls
Will we ever have a happy ending
Or will we forever only be pretending
Will we a-a-a-always a-a-a-always a-a-a-always be
Keeping secrets safe
Every move we make
Seems like no one's letting go
And it's such a shame
Cause if you feel the same
How am i supposed to know
Will we ever say the words we're feeling
Reach down underneath and tear down all the walls
Will we ever have a happy ending
Or will we forever only be pretending
Will we a-a-a-always a-a-a-always a-a-a-always be (pretending)
Will we a-a-a-always a-a-a-always a-a-a-always be (pretending)
Will we a-a-a-always a-a-a-always a-a-a-always be pretending

Today's million-dollar question: Why is blood thicker than water?
* * *
Ola :)
Sorry for the long-awaited post -_- Unfortunately, I can't really remember what happened on the 23rd. I just know about the 24th and 25th.
Very, very sorry.
Anyways, on the 24th, we woke up at 10 something. Bathed and got dressed then went downstairs to grab some breakfast. My sister got Subway and I got half-boiled eggs.
:(
I wanted Subway too~~ :P
My sister, at first, had to go for rehearsals with her other friends, but thanks to someone who called in sick, rehearsals were cancelled. Instead, she studied Jap with me. She had a test at 1 o'clock so she wanted to get as much as possible down before that.
At 12 something, she sent me off to Kent Ridge Road because Guam invited me to her house for a baking session.
AWESOME!!
It was exciting for me too because that meant I was going to be using the MRT alone for the first time. The experience was great. I couldn't stop smiling like some stupid idiot who's never ridden on an MRT before.
I love Singapore's public transport. You don't get stuff like that in Malaysia -_-
After the MRT ride, I waited for about 5 minutes before Guam got me. We then went for lunch in a nearby place. I had some meehoon stuff that she recommended. Halfway through, I met my sister's other friend, Law. Not long after, we were joined by Pascal.
After lunch, we went shopping for ingredients. At around 3 something, we went back to Guam's house and chilled around for a while. Played the piano whilst Pascal played some game on his laptop.
Then, we started baking. Well, I did most of the ingredient mixing, but Law and Pascal helped to whisk the eggs :)
My sister joined us soon after.
The first time it came out of the oven, it wasn't cooked enough -_- Second time it went in, it wasn't cooked enough.
I think the third time worked. We definitely gave up :P It didn't taste too bad, though. After eating, we chilled a little more, watching videos and all that, before heading out for dinner. We had dinner at this dim sum place. Nice stuff.
Then we headed back to PGP and watched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood till 2 something :P
That's about it :) CIAO!!

Mayo Chiki!
Okie dokie :) Another anime review after a long time. This was one of the more recent ones that I fairly liked. It's called Mayo Chiki.
Sakamachi Kinji is your average 17-year-old who attends school like every other normal human being.
なんてね
Like anime would allow for such a lame ass story line where the main character is an average person living a normal life. Unlike other "normal people", Kinji has gynophobia.
For those who have no idea what the eff that is, it's a fear towards females.
Uh-huh, this wimp is scared of girls.
Not to say he's actually scared of them, but more like his condition prevents him from going anywhere near them. This sickness causes him to suffer from a nose bleed every time he comes into physical contact with other girls.
On the other hand, there's the all-popular Suzutsuki Kanade, the very rich single daughter of the high school principal, and her butler, Konoe Subaru, who is loved by all the girls in the school.
What they do not know, however, is the fact that Subaru is actually a very real girl. Kinji just had very bad luck finding out when he accidentally walks in on her in the boys' bathroom - so technically, it ain't even his fault.
They don't care, nonetheless, so now, he's always being kept a close eye on by Subaru and Kanade because Subaru was only allowed to be a butler (which is obviously so because butlers are always male) on the condition that no one found out about her real gender.
Hallelujah, that's pretty much how the story goes. This show is quite nice. The first episode might be a bit... pervy, though, just to warn you in case you decide to watch it. Even so, it's alright.

Astarotte no Omocha
It's been long since I reviewed any of the animes I watched, so I'm just going to review the ones I've watched before, but never really got around to reviewing.
This has been out for quite some time now. They're in stores too, but I didn't buy it because I watched everything online. This one's called Astarotte no Omocha, which literally translates to Astarotte's Toy.
It tells the story of a ten-year-old succubus princess, Astarotte (also known as Lotte), who has just come of age. In this anime, it is customary for a coming-of-age succubus to have a male harem. Quite unfortunately, due to an incident in previous years where Astarotte walked in on her mother and some other dude. Due to this, she is insistent that she will never have a male harem.
However, since everyone around her was pestering her to have a male harem because it was her "duty" as a succubus princess, she relented on the condition that a human male joined the harem.
Once again, quite unfortunately for her, they managed to run into Tohara Naoya, whom, under very complicated circumstances, was brought to their world to be a part of Astarotte's harem.
Oh, and he brought his ten-year-old daughter, Asuha, as well.
This anime is... quite alright, except for the fact that I think it's twisted because of Naoya's past with Astarotte's mother, Mercelida. I hated Mercelida because she made Naoya part of HER harem too, which means Asuha is a product of their... err... togetherness -_-
Bleghh~ That's just SO wrong.
I like Naoya. He's nice and cute. But he's an asshole as well. They never end up together. It's animes like these - where the main character is just too friggin' young to "end up" with anyone - that piss the shit out of me.
Eeesh.
Either way, that's just from my point of view. A few ecchi scenes here and there, but hey, animes nowadays are bound to have that sort of element in one way or another in them. Not a personal favourite, but I got by it.
Love the ending song, though, "Manatsu no Photograph". You would've seen it already if you've been diligently following my blog previously :)
Haha.

Today's million-dollar question: What did you have for lunch?
* * *
Ola :)
Yes, I'm still blogging. Don't look so surprised. Have a little more faith in me.
-.-
Woke up at 10++a.m today. My sister didn't have anything planned in the morning so we were allowed to wake up a wee bit later than yesterday. Almost 10 minutes after waking up, we continued watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. After four episodes, my sister and I bathed, then went off to have brunch.
Subway. Nice.
It was to go, though. So we ate in the Student Lounge in YST again. I had the usual tuna sandwich and my sister had the Subway Club, which was also very nice. I might consider that the next time I am fortunate enough to have Subway.
After eating, my sister and I headed to the Seminar Room where she was going to be rehearsing with some other people for something I'm not too sure about. Even now as I'm typing this, I'm listening to them practice. I absolutely love trios, quartets, quintets and all that because the sounds of the instruments blend together much more... nicely?
Sorry, my range of vocabulary hasn't expanded in the past few... years. Haven't been reading. Should find time.
Should stop talking to myself.
Okay, never mind, then :) Will continue later in the day. CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: How much does an average female need to consume per day?
* * *
Ola :)
I know, I know, I'm sorry I didn't continue from where I left off yesterday. Remember, I've posted about previous days in the previous posts, yeah? :)
After a lot of hours alone in the Lounge Room, waiting for my sister to finish with her own stuff that morning-afternoon, she came and picked me up with Guam. Then, we headed off for lunch in the Cafe Cartel. Don't ask me where that was - I have no idea.
I had a very nice dish of chicken and mushroom macaroni as well as a minty lime soda drink. My advise, don't get the minty lime soda drink. It's not as nice as what it makes itself out to be. I was fooled.
Yeah~
Pascal joined us some time during our lunch and ordered his stuff - some humongous burger that he, in the end, had to take apart bit by bit to eat individually.
-.-
Not long after, my sister left us because she had something else to do in YST. I, on the other hand, was offered to join Guam and Pascal as they went to have Pascal's hair cut.
So yeah, I followed them. It was absolutely awesome because I got to use the EZ Link card to access the MRT. Guam and I toyed with Pascal camera for a while - but he started taking weird pictures first.
Where Pascal got his hair cut, Guam and I watched Kung Fu Panda 2. They served very nice iced lemon tea too. Guam insisted because she was in love with it. Laughed quite a bit thanks to the movie and we managed to catch the whole thing before we left the place.
Pascal's hair... Well, it was okay, I guess. One just needs to get used to it. He looked all the more like Pascal when he took his glasses off, though.
HAHA.
Following the haircut session, Pascal, Guam and I met up with my sister for dinner. Dinner was fantastic too. We had a Chinese style dinner with omelette, yam stuff, kangkung, and salted egg prawns. Nice. Had a nice laugh about some personal stuff too.
Aiseh~
After dinner, my sister and I rushed back to YST because she was page-turning for a guy's recital. The guy was absolutely legendary - to me, anyways. He played REALLY well. Oh, and he was the guy who said The Three Musketeers was a great movie too, so I shall dub him D'Artagnan.
My sister and I went back to PGP after all that. Made her watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood after getting a late-night snack at the Foodgle place. Nice~ :P
At 2 o'clock, we went to sleep :) Will blog about today in the next post, yeah? CIAO!!

Right Here Waiting - Kurt Hugo Schneider *Richard Marx* + D
Oceans apart, day after day
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice on the line
But it doesn't stop the pain
If I see you next to never
But how can we say forever
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
I took for granted, all the times
That I thought would last somehow
I hear the laughter, I taste the tears
But I can't get near you now
Oh, can't you see it, baby
You've got me goin' crazy
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
I wonder how we can survive
This romance
But in the end if I'm with you
I'll take the chance
Oh, can't you see it, baby
You've got me goin' crazy
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
Waiting for you

I Did It For You - Charice
Minutes turn to hours
Hours turn to days
Knew what I had to do
Couldn't find the words to say
Had the perfect story
Stories have an end
Had to turn the page cause
To keep you was a sin oh ~
You know I loved you with
(Everything that I had)
But what you needed I
{Couldn't be, held you back)
I cared enough about you
To give you the chance
To find someone who care
I broke your heart
(I did it for you)
Tore us apart
(I did it for you)
Just walked away
(I did it for you) Oh ~
For you ~
You wouldn't want my everything
(did it for you)
Someone you knew that I couldn't be
(did it for you)
Why don't you ever understand me
But its true, its true
I did it for you, for you ~
I could say I'm sorry
Wouldn't mean a thing
Tell you what you want to hear
Baby what you wanted wasn't for me
Held you by a string
Had to cut you loose
Cause forever something we can't be
You know I loved you with
(Everything that I had)
But what you needed I
{Couldn't be, held you back)
I cared enough about you
To give you the chance
To find someone who care
I broke your heart
(I did it for you)
Tore us apart
(I did it for you)
Just walked away
(I did it for you ) Oh
For you
You wouldn't want my everything
(did it for you)
Someone you knew that I couldn't be
(did it for you)
Why don't you ever understand me
But its true, its true
I did it for you ~
They say the ones that you love
Are the ones you hurt the most
For all the pain that I've caused you
Baby I'm sorry ~
I did it for you~
(I did it for you)
Tore us apart
I'm so sorry babe
(did it for you)
Just walked away
I did it for you, for you ~
You wouldn't wanted my everything, everything ~
(did it for you)
Someone you knew that I couldn't be
(did it for you)
Why don't you ever understand me
But its true, its true
I did it for you, for you ~

Today's million-dollar question: What is a best friend?
* * *
Ola :)
I posted about the 21st in the previous post so go read that first :P
Anyways, today, I woke up at 2 o'clock in the morning just to go to the toilet. Bloody pissed me off. Had to run to the toilet. Was so afraid people would see me 'cause I was in my jammies -_- I DID run into someone, but she was wearing jammies too, so it didn't make me look like an idiot.
Good thing was that I didn't have a headache anymore :D
Went back to sleep.
At 8 something, my sister woke me up and I had to go and bathe. At first, I thought I'd hate to use the hostel's toilet, but quite on the contrary, I think I prefer that toilet to the one at home. You see, the one at home is either too cold at first or too hot later.
-_-
Bleghh~
Took a bus to some place where my sister bought breakfast. Kaya toasts and half-boiled egg. Yum~ The kaya was way too sweet, though. Could hardly taste the egg. Sister left me not long after she ate because she had some class.
So it's just me, alone, in the student lounge, using the school's computer to blog -_- Listening to Charice's "One Day" now. Nice to know Cleo likes this song too. Was listening to Jason Chen's "Best Friend" too. I like that song. It's really nice. If you haven't listened to it, listen to it -_-
Haha.
Since it's only 10:34a.m, there's nothing much to tell of today, so I'll leave the rest to later in the day :) CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: What is my haven?
* * *
Ola :)
Yes, yes, you may applaud :P For it is that time of the year where I finally get back into the blogging spirit. Very, very sorry to have had kept my many readers in suspense whilst I decide every day that I am just way too lazy to sit and blog about my day.
-_-
I-am-SO-egoistic.
When it comes to my writing skills, I mean. Not to say they are anything close to being of the credible sort - I've just recently come across someone who writes much better than the shit I bring myself to write (and he's not even an aspiring author - I think -.-).
As for why I'm rekindling my love for blogging, it's probably because I have a lot of time to spare. Why?
I. Am. In. SINGAPORE!!!!!
Yes, yes, imma in Singapore. Travelled here yesterday, by bus. As I'm typing this, I'm actually speaking in that 'Uh-huh, yeah, I did it. In your face, suckers' tone.
Sue me.
Anyways, I caught the 9 o'clock bus yesterday on Aeroline. Very narrowly missed it, though. My mom thought I was supposed to collect the tickets only 15 minutes before departure time. In actual fact, it was 30 minutes before. I was pretty much 10 minutes late collecting my ticket when we realized. Didn't help that my dad was thinking of cancelling my trip there.
Went ballistic.
Thankfully, there were people still collecting tickets when I arrived so I didn't miss the bus :)
Boarded at 9:08a.m and slept for a while. Not long after, they served breakfast. There was a chicken and ham sandwich, some pastry thing and an apple. Left the apple. Didn't fancy the pastry. The sandwich, though, was nice :)
Quite unfortunately, it didn't occur to me to take a picture of it to post in my blog -_- Not that taking pictures on my sucky phone will help appeal to the audience -_-
Bleghh~
The five-hour trip was tiring, though. Passed time by watching cartoon movies on the bus, but I didn't watch any of them till the end. There was "Horton Hears A Who" which I stopped pretty fast because it was quite boring. Then I watched "How To Train Your Dragon" but it was the one of bad quality so I didn't bother continuing. Next, I tried "Chicken Run" but stopped after the pit stop because it was getting boring.
Also, at this point of time, I was already feeling really dizzy.
Last movie I tried watching was "Despicable Me". That was the longest movie I watched but even so, I didn't finish it. After all, I'd already watched it before, so... Yeah.
Spent the rest of my time either messaging my parents or my sister. I was too afraid of falling asleep in the bus for fear I might miss passing Malaysian or Singaporean immigrations. Those places are just too damn intimidating. All the lanes look the same. It's hard to tell which one I'm supposed to go to.
Either that or I'm just plain stupid.
Anyway, after passing Singaporean immigrations, it started to rain. Heavily. It's like Singapore knew I was going to invade -_-
My sister was there to pick me up when I got off the bus. We were all smiles. My sister brought me back to PGP first before we went for lunch. Had chicken rice and bubble tea. Wasn't too keen on my sister leaving me to buy the bubble tea, though, 'cause the dude started talking in Mandarin and I didn't understand -_-
Well, not until he gestured.
After that, I followed my sister to YST where she had to do some photoshoot stuff with her friends, Guam and Pascal. At first, I didn't like Pascal. He seemed way too... err... outspoken. Loud, too. And he wanted me to lick and polish his shoes before he gave me access to his 2TB hard drive which had 1TB worth of anime inside.
I know, right?
After the shoot, we went back to the room where he let me peruse his hard drive. He also gave me an insight to each of the anime. It was that moment when I decided to give him a second chance. After all, if he could spare his time to explain all that to me, he can't be that bad :P
...
Oh, I think I forgot to mention he's a photographer. He used to go to my sister's college, MCKL. He takes really good shots of my sister.
Of anyone, actually. His stuff are awesome. The way he gets protective over his equipment can be quite annoying, though -_-
That aside, I transferred like... 5 animes into my sister's laptop? Absolutely awesome. I think her hard drive's already full.
HAHA.
It's because of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Soon, we left the place for dinner at this Japanese place in The Cathay called Nihon Mura, which means Japanese Forest. It was really nice. The only thing that ruined my day was that I was having a splitting headache thanks to me watching movies on a moving vehicle.
Aiseh~
Stupid move.
Pungent joined us halfway through dinner and ordered more stuff to eat. I was already full so I didn't eat anymore. After footing the bill, we left the place. My sister and I grabbed that 1.20SGD ice cream which she liked - coffee flavour :P Then, we went to this place Guam took us to which sold tau fu fa. Nice stuff, but I didn't take much. I still had a headache, that's why.
When we returned to PGP, it was only 10 something, but I was so bloody tired and annoyed with my headache that I fell asleep straightaway.
That's about it for the 21st :) Tune in for today's post! CIAO!!

Best Friend - Jason Chen + D
Do you remember when I said I'd always be there.
Ever since we were ten, baby.
When we were out on the playground playing pretend.
Didn't know it back then.
Now I realize you were the only one
It's never too late to show it.
Grow old together,
Have feelings we had before
Back when we were so innocent
I pray for all your love
Girl our love is so unreal
I just wanna reach and touch you, squeeze you, somebody pinch me
This is something like a movie
And I dont know how it ends girl
but I fell in love with my Best Friend
Through all the dudes that came by
And all the nights that you'd cry.
I was there right by your side.
How could I tell you I loved you
When you were so happy
With some other guy?
Now I realize you were the only one
It's never too late to show it.
Grow old together,
Have feelings we had before
When we were so innocent.
(Chorus)
I know it sounds crazy
That you'd be my baby.
But you mean that much to me.
'Cause nothing compares when
We're lighter than air and
We don't wanna come back down.
But I don't wanna ruin what we have
Love is so unpredictable.
But it's the risk that I'm taking,
Hoping, praying
You'd fall in love with your best friend
(Chorus) x2
I remember when I said I'd always be there
Ever since we were ten.
When we were out in the sandbox [playground] playing pretend.
Didn't know it back then...

Mistletoe - Jason Chen *Justin Bieber* + D
Aye, it's the most beautiful time of the year,
Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer,
I should be playing in the winter snow,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.
I don't wanna miss out on the holiday,
But I can't stop staring at your face,
I should be playing in the winter snow,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.
With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe, yeah.
Everyone's gathering around the fire,
Chestnuts roasting like a hot July,
I should be chillin' with my folks, I know,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.
Word on the streets Santa's coming tonight,
Reindeer flying thru the sky so high,
I should be making a list, I know,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.
With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe,
Yeaaa.
With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe.
Hey love, the Wise Men followed a star,
The way I followed my heart,
And it led me to a miracle.
Aye love, don't you buy me nothing,
'Cause I am feeling one thing,
Your lips on my lips,
That's a Merry Merry Christmas.
It's the most beautiful time of the year,
Lights fill the streets spreading so much cheer,
I should be playing in the winter snow,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.
I don't wanna miss out on the holiday,
But I can't stop staring at your face,
I should be playing in the winter snow,
But Ima be under the mistletoe.
With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe.
Sing it again!
With you, shawty with you,
With you, shawty with you,
With you, under the mistletoe, yeah.
Kiss me underneath the mistletoe,
Show me baby that you love me so,
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
Kiss me underneath the mistletoe,
Show me baby that you love me so,
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
