Today's million-dollar question: What are tears worth?
***
Ola :)
Nothing much happened on the 19th so I shan't waste my time.
Went to school today. After our morning briefing, we all went downstairs for the assembly. Our new principal came the day before so I missed her entrance ceremony, thank God. She doesn't spend the morning on stage, though, I realized. She likes to be up and about.
Yup, you know what that means: I still don't really know what she looks like.
-.-
Anyways, after singing the national anthem, we went back to our respective classes. First subject was Physics O.O After learning some stuff, my group of friends started talking about random stuff.
For the first few minutes of our next subject, History, we did not have a teacher. Quite unfortunately, our Add Maths teacher came in soon after and started teaching. 5 Omega joined us.
Recess was spent in the library. I didn't want to go to the canteen. That would make me want to eat.
-.-
BM was spent doing questions from the second paper. Aktif/Pasif questions, Biasa/Songsang sentences and others of the like. Finished the questions within the two periods. Didn't want to leave it as homework.
Next was four periods of Bio. Our teacher finished off the third chapter. I, unfortunately, did not bring my third chapter module, so I had to write everything out like I did once before.
Haha.
After school, I went to the library and got down to putting the finishing touches to the Ko-Ko board before nailing it to the wall again. I tell you, the feeling when we nailed it to the wall was of absolute joy. Finally, I would never have to see it again.
At 4:30p.m, my sister and brother came to get me from the entrance. Went back home, bathed, and then...
I can't remember what happened after that -.-
Since everything after that is pretty much a blur, I shall stop here :) CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: How can you alter something without changing it?
* * *
Ola :)
Woke up at 6 o'clock today. Got up, changed then went to school. Made it to morning briefing. Played a short game. Went down for assembly.
Sang all the usual songs and anthems then listened to the teachers yak and yak and yak about absolutely nothing of significance.
We did, however, hear of two classes (mine included) needing to go to the Pameran Room for some talk. I figured it must've been another motivational speech from some speaker Pn. Song invited. So, after placing the camera back safely in the library, I headed up to the room and waited with my friends.
Turns out it was a career guidance and personality evaluation test thingymajing.
A few drawing activities later, the speaker, Mr Khoo from INTI, briefed us on our personalities according to each group.
From the analysis, I'm a good listener: People from the "cheerful and outgoing" group won't look for us when they're happy, but they'll come when they're sad and need us to be their punching bags. And, we're usually there for them, because we don't mind listening.
We're also a group of people who have a difficulty with the word "no". It's too cruel a word to use in our daily lives. So, we just accept whatever work gets thrown in our faces without ever talking about shifting the responsibility to someone else. There's a catch to this, though, and that is the besok and lusa concept.
Procrastination, translated.
Thirdly, although we procrastinate, people can always be assured that a surprise awaits them after we're done. So, with time comes excellence? Or is it perfection?
:P
Our animal symbol is the dove. The "angel", apparently. We're most compatible with the people who talk a lot (like Andyy and Saki) and our careers go along the lines of counselor et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
What scared me was that it was actually pretty accurate. Everything he said; I experienced this year itself, after being in the library. Call it being perasan, egoistic or self-praise but I can't help it if it's true.
Got a stress ball from the dude's visit.
My recess I spent talking to Miss Nina about a lot of things regarding the ass of the library. Spent four periods after that discussing about what we should do with the archives in the back of the library together with the rest of the deco members.
Slept during Physics. The teacher didn't teach much. My headache was calling for backup -.-
At 2:30p.m, I came back home and bathed. Used my sister's laptop to do some work then went downstairs to resume on the computer. Downloaded the newest episode of Hiiro no Kakera. Mwahaha.
Flatbread. Chicken wings.
-.-
Nothing much else happened after that. Just watched a few clips of some movies (since my sister was being annoying and choosy -.-) while I downloaded some movies with horses appearing in them (by my sister's selfish request).
I shan't deny I didn't want that :P
Downloaded Flicka (2006) and Dreamer (2005).
Blogged about the 17th in the previous post. Am listening to Jesse McCartney's "Beautiful Soul" now and should soon be sleeping :)
That's about it, then. CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: If promises can't be seen, can't be touched, and can't be confined, what are empty promises?
* * *
Ola :)
Well, we didn't go swim again -.- I don't know why, we just didn't get up, even after my sister's alarm rang. Twice.
Sleeping at 2 something the next before didn't help, I guess.
-.-
Maybe we'll have better luck next week.
Anyways, after we got up - at around 11 or 12 something, I fed the dogs again then used the iPad for a while whilst waiting for my mom to have her lunch break so we could have lunch together.
Lunch was at the old organic shop. I shared a set meal with my dad and he ordered an extra roti canai to go with his... other dishes.
Then again, we shared the roti canai so... :)
Discussed our plans for later that evening. Since it was a special day, we wanted to go to Koryo-Won, KLCC. Chatted a little more before finally footing the bill.
My dad, mom, sister and I then went across the road to A*Pet's Studio to get more of the dogs' food. Switched to another brand because Pedigree was upsetting Pep's stomach. Don't ask why. We're not veterinarians.
The toy poodle puppy from before was there on the floor within the confinement of the doggy fence and I went absolutely ballistic. It was so incredibly cute, wobbling about with its teenie tiny lamb-like paws. Saw a golden (bronze, actually) retriever taking a bath in the big tub.
ちょかわいい!!
After getting the dogs' food, I carried it back home (like a boss) :P
Bathed upon reaching the house. Sister bathed after that. Lazed around in my sister's room, completing whatever review I was working on. Then, out of nowhere, my sister came back into her room and declared that our plans were drastically altered.
Before we knew it, we were on the way...
...
... to Genting.
I know, I know. Turns out that my aunt wasn't going to not be a total couch potato unless she could do something. Apparently, going to KLCC had nothing to do with her. She didn't want to have to waste time.
So, my dad, being the darling that he is (-.-), decided on the sudden half-day trip to Genting. Dinner proved difficult to settle on because our usual Coffee Terrace was being booked until 8:30p.m for some asshole with a function obviously more important than the appetites of a few dozen other famished people.
Bleghh~
Went to at least three other restaurants but they were all full. Genting Palace was full to the brim, with 8 other groups before our turn. Ming-Ren was also full. Imperial Rama was going to be occupied until 9 o'clock (and it was too damned expensive for just a casual dinner with six of us).
Eventually, we went over to The Eatery. Had my half-boiled eggs with toast. The rest had some barley special drink and lou shi fan and some other heavy stuff. I also vaguely remember noodles and chocolate ice blended (that cost a bloody RM9.50).
After dinner, the adults and the children (I included) went our separate ways. With my siblings, the plan was to dump me at the usual Starbucks place in the First World indoor theme park and then go off on their own while I indulged in my own activities involving the laptop and/or my iPad.
Mostly anime :P I hadn't watched the latest episode of The Legend of Korra, so... :P
Haha.
Unfortunately, the Starbucks was transferred somewhere else. I wanted to settle myself at Pizza Hut but my sister was against it because we just had it the other day. And, with so many people waiting in line, it would be rude to just sit there and use their WiFi till my siblings were done walking around.
It was down to KFC or McD's. My sister then decided that she didn't want to have the KFC/McD's in the indoor theme park so we made our way back to the Genting Hotel side. We were supposed to go to the Starbucks where I could use my card and use the WiFi, but my sister suddenly had a change of heart. Instead, we went to where the arcades were. Settled at McD's.
Her reason was: There'll be too many people at Starbucks. The Internet connection will suck. Let's just go to McD's.
Ordered a drink just to show that we were sitting there for a reason other than the free WiFi. Later, after I got dizzy from listening to music (my sister was watching Once Upon A Song because I recommended she might like it), I ordered a 2-piece McChicken set for my sister and I. Bought a fillet burger for my brother too.
I felt generous.
Leave me alone.
Dad joined us a short while after I finished my chicken(s). Headed over to the Woh Tong place where I got ice cream from the Baskin' Robbins next door. Chocolate chip with cookie dough.
Heaven~
:P
At around 11 something, my aunt finally peeled herself from the slot machines (if that's what she was doing in the casino) and we all went back home. My sister got a little addicted to the blonde dude's song from Once Upon A Song so she was still watching that scene in the car.
I was getting a splitting headache so I tried not to think of anything and focused on sleeping.
Reached home at 12 something and made a lousy attempt to sleep. The migraine was especially stubborn and intent on staying that night. No friggin' idea why.
I must've slept eventually, but I had to slam my palm on my head a couple of times for that to happen. I was thinking I could hit myself unconscious or something -.-
Bleghh~
Okie dokie then :) That's about it for the 17th. CIAO!!

P/S/S: You might sometimes be an ass. You might sometimes say stupid things or say one thing too many. You might do little things to make us mad. You might not be punctual all the time. You might be a little stingy more often than not. But I know you do it unintentionally (I hope :P) and no matter what, we still love you.
So thanks for taking care of all of us at home. Thanks for working so hard just to earn a little more dough so we can live a little-more-than-comfortable life.
And Happy Fathers' Day :)

The Irish Blonde - BEDLAM
An attractive blonde from Cork , Ireland , arrived at the casino. She seemed a little intoxicated and bet twenty thousand dollars in a single roll of the dice.
The blonde said, "I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude." with that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled, "Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!"
As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed. "Yes! Yes! I won, I won!" She hugged each of the dealers, picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed.
The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded. Finally, one of them asked, "What did she roll?" The other answered, "I don't know - I thought you were watching."
MORAL OF THE STORY
Not all Irish are drunks, not all blondes are dumb, ..... but all men...are men!

Sainsbury's Greeter - BEDLAM
My one day of employment ......
After landing a new job as a Sainsbury's greeter, (a good find for many retirees) I lasted less than a day......
About two hours into my first day on the job, a very loud, and unattractive woman marched into the store dragging her two kids, yelling obscenities at them all the way through the entrance.
As I had been instructed, I said pleasantly, "Good morning and welcome to Sainsbury's. Nice children you have there. Are they twins?"
The ugly woman stopped yelling long enough to say, "Of course they ain't f*****g twins. The oldest one's 9 and the other one's 7. Why the hell would you think they're twins? Are you blind, or just stupid?"
So I replied, "I'm neither blind nor stupid, Madam. I just couldn't believe someone actually shagged you twice. Have a good day and thank you for shopping at Sainsbury's!"

The Avengers
Hallelujah, finally, the review for The Avengers.
Sometimes, you have to think that all their movies were produced just so they could direct this movie. Think about it:
Hulk - Hulk
Iron Man - Iron Man
Iron Man II - Black Widow & Hawkeye
Thor - Thor & Loki
Captain America - Captain America
It'd be just way too weird to have Captain America or Thor appear out of thin air without giving the dude a proper introduction, right?
-.-
Either way, this movie really outdid itself. It doesn't matter if you don't like action movies or find Robert Downey Jr unbelievably insufferable in his movies. You'd at least have to watch it for its humour and awesome effects.
Long story short, Loki (Thor's infamous adopted brother) steals the Tesseract (a small powerful box) and uses it for evil purposes.
...
Big surprise there -.-
Nick Fury reactivates the Avengers Initiative in response. Banner, Stark, Romanoff and Rogers are assembled to capture Loki.
However, after Loki was taken captive, Thor comes to Earth to bring him back to Asgard where Loki will face his punishment according to Asgardian rules. Stark refuses to let him have his way so the two of them fight. Rogers comes to the "rescue".
After Thor comes to his senses (if in existence), he explains that Loki intends to use the Tesseract to bring forth more of his minions, the Chitauri, to launch an attack and dominate the Earth.
As the story goes along, the team falls apart and divides due to the lack of trust between the members. In the end, they finally band together and kick Loki's ass.
Honestly, I liked this movie very much. Of 5 stars, I'd give it 4 and 1/2. The only thing that confused me was the last part when Loki woke up (from being tossed around by Hulk like a sack of potatoes) and Hawkeye directed an arrow at him?
Did he actually shoot the arrow? And if he did, why wasn't Loki hurt when he and Thor were heading back to Asgard with the Tesseract?
-.-
Oh well, nothing major, I guess.
If I had to choose which heroes I liked in descending order, it'd be:
1. Iron Man (for his humour)
2. Hawkeye (I'm a sucker for anyone who can shoot with a bow and arrow)
3. Black Widow (love her close combat skills)
4. Thor (his ignorant humour and, puff-t, it's Chris Hemsworth :P)
5. Hulk (I don't dislike Hulk, I just like him the least)
Yes, skeptics, there's a difference.
Either way, I don't think they're showing this in cinemas anymore as this review is indeed, late. I had a great time watching this, though. I'm sure many share the same viewpoint.
That's about it, then. CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: Why do people disagree with each other?
* * *
Ola :)
As I mentioned before in the previous post, going swimming was impossible today. We woke up only at 11 something.
Fed the dogs as usual. Internet was down today (it has been since the day before) so when I asked my dad if he had paid this month, he asked me to help him pay at Public Bank because he was busy.
My sister and I went out and helped him, of course. I liked doing cash deposits. It feels so cool. Call me an idiot or a buffoon, but you can't help what you can't hate.
Unfortunately, the one he had us pay was the company's Internet usage, so we had to do it again. When we were done with that, he gave us other bills to help him pay. My sister was a little agitated and wanted to go back to eat, but I was being annoying by insisting on checking on my phone bill.
I spent RM60 last month O.O
My only consolation was that it was so high because I called a lot of vets regarding the Probiotics for Snuffly :P
Upon returning home, we had fried rice for lunch.
Watched a little TV. Sister went to bathe. I went to bathe. Then, at 6:15p.m, we left for the Civic Hall. We were watching the newly founded Selangor Philharmonic Orchestra perform. Jem and Andy were playing so my sister pulled me along.
As always -.-
Got lost, however. Trust me to miss a turning -.- Bleghh~ Sister's 3G shitty signal helped minimally because the dot was all over the place. We eventually reached the Civic Hall, of course, but only at 7:34p.m. After Jem passed us our tickets, we greeted his parents then went inside with some of my sister's friends.
For certain reasons, I shan't talk about how the concert was. I will say one thing, however, and that is that I detest the MC. It is hatred of the most heinous sort. He pronounced "orchestra" as "a-kestra" (with a phony baloney accent), pronounced "Dvorak" as "Jovak" and convinced all of us that he had to be either camp or just downright gay.
When I saw him during the intermission, I wanted to, in my sister's words, rip his voice box out. They should plaster his mouth shut so he can never utter another word ever again.
Yes, he made me absolutely pissed.
When the concert ended (and I finally didn't have to hear his effeminate voice), my sister and I made a beeline for Pappa Rich (with our parents' consent, naturally). Got a little side-tracked on the way but finally made it to Pappa Rich.
And were smacked in the face with a parking fee. Bloody hell.
Ate vegetarian nasi lemak with mutton today. My sister had the usual N10 and we shared the steamed bread with chicken curry. Shouldn't have ordered the latter. I couldn't stomach the last slice of bread.
Reached home at around 11:45p.m. Sister watched a little TV while I decided to review Snow White and the Huntsman. She came in before I could start, though, so I wrote it all out before finally typing it into my blog when she was done with it.
Slept at around 2 with a promise to go swimming on Sunday instead.
That's about it, then :) CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: How do people get epilepsy?
* * *
Ola :)
Didn't go to school today.
Here's what actually happened:
Maid: Lou, sekolah tak?
Me: *grumbles in sleep*
Aunt: Dia tak mau.
Maid: Okay. *walks out the room*
After a few minutes, I couldn't fall back to sleep so I figured I might as well go to school. However, I stumbled in the bathroom and hit my head on the wall.
-.-
I don't know if it was the jerks, but it hurt nonetheless.
My brother came out just then and saw me massage the top of my head so he asked me to go back to bed. So I did. Slept off easily enough (the bump on my head must have contributed to that somehow).
Woke up at 12++. My mom, sister and grandpa were heading out to Tesco but I preferred to stay behind, for reasons I shall not disclose. The whole time they were in Tesco, I just stayed home, fed the dogs, then sat in front of the computer. Since my mother was so hell-bent on blaming my relapse on my iPad, I figured I wasn't going to be allowed to be within a 5-foot radius of my tablet.
It was like my iPad was getting a restraining order against me. It's really depressing.
Anyways, I therefore devised a plan that would still permit me to listen to music while I did work. I wanted at least that much.
So, I went to the computer and started Bluetooth-ing all my current favourites into my phone.
By the time they returned, I was done. We then had lunch which consisted of bayam and other vegetarian dishes that my aunt bought from the market, namely "mutton" and some sour veggie food.
Studied Bio at around 2 something. Not long after, my mother summoned me to accompany my sister in sending my grandpa back to PJ.
Once there, my aunt (mom's sister), sister and I chatted about a lot of things before deciding to finally go back at around 4:30p.m.
Big mistake.
Traffic was a bitch. What's more, my mother called on the way to remind us that we had to attend the Cempaka International Box Office Production, Hairspray with my dad. My sister and I knew we were going to see it, but we didn't know it was going to be today.
Thanks, Dad.
Dinner was pizza and homemade (or rather, ready-made) macaroni and cheese, curtesy of yours truly. My sister had to wash her hair then and there so I had to do it. She was famished to the severest degree by the time she came out of the bathroom.
Pizza came soon enough.
Dad, on the other hand, took a little longer to come home. He said we needed to tail him with the other vehicle because he might have to leave us to go to Publika for his business stuff.
Tailing him proved to be a bit of a challenge. You know Malaysians and their bipolar attitudes when on the road, right?
Didn't help that I had to memorize which roads to take when we're getting back home.
O.O
Unfortunately, Dad had to leave not long after we got there. His meeting was at 9 o'clock but the show was going to start at 8 o'clock. He would have to leave either during the intermission or in the middle of show itself. The latter would be rude and the former would take at least 45 minutes. That would prolong his attendance by at least 15 minutes. And, no offense, but his business in Publika trumps the Cempaka musical big time.
So he left after dropping us off.
Made the right decision too. The show started only at 8:30p.m. If he had stayed, he'd have to leave when the show started.
The show ended late. Around 10++ near 11. Didn't linger on after the show ended. Got into the car and drove back home.
Thankfully, my navigating skills served us well.
When we reached home, my sister and I ate what was left of the pizza from before then proceeded upstairs to watch a little TV. I was so proud of myself that day because I had not touched my iPad at all.
And I mean, at all.
Moved a mattress into my sister's room because we were supposed to go swimming the next day, but seeing as we only slept at 4a.m, that was going to be impossible.
That's about it for the 15th :) CIAO!!

Lightning - Alex Goot + D
She's staring me down with those electric eyes
No matter how hard I try, I can't escape that gaze tonight
That girls up in the atmosphere
That girls up in the atmosphere
I'm hypnotized by the way she moves
Baby girl please help me soon
I'mma take you to the sun and the moon
That girls up in the atmosphere
That girls up in the atmosphere
And I've been catching myself thinking of it
it was 3 in the morning
Every day I chase after her
But I can't catch lightning
Catching myself thinking of it
it was 3 in the morning
Every day I chase after her
But I can't catch lightning
No, I can't catch lightning
She'll make you believe everything she wants
Make you think that you're the one
She will keep you there
That girls up in the atmosphere
She's way up in the atmosphere
And I've been catching myself thinking of it
it was 3 in the morning
Every day I chase after her
But I can't catch lightning
Catching myself thinking of it
it was 3 in the morning
Every day I chase after her
But I can't catch lightning
No, I can't catch lightning
Oh, I can't catch lightning (yeah)
I can't catch lightning
She's staring me down with those electric eyes
no matter how hard I try, I can't escape that gaze tonight
That girls up in the atmosphere
That girls up in the atmosphere
That girls up in the atmosphere (oh)
She's way up in the atmosphere
And I've been waiting, waiting, waiting for you
Anticipating
Chasing after things that you do
But I can't catch lighting
Waiting, waiting, waiting for you
Anticipating
Chasing after things that you do
But I can't catch lighting
No, I can't catch lightning (Oh yeah)
No, I can't catch lightning
I can't catching lightning (oh no)
I can't catch lightning

Snow White and the Huntsman
This movie starts off modestly enough, with Snow White's mother narrating based on the introduction from the original Grimm Brothers' fairytale.
As goes the story, after his wife passes on, the lecherous king found Ravenna in a decaying cabin after defeating an army of conjured soldiers. Naturally, she ties him around her little finger in no time and eventually sticks a dagger hilt-deep into his heart. She then assumes his place on the throne.
Snow White was kept caged in the castle prison after that because Ravenna believed Snow White to be the bane of her existence, as the cliche goes.
Eventually, Snow White manages to escape into the Dark Forest. Having heard of the grueling tales related to the forest, Ravenna's brother enlists someone to hunt her down. A person who delved into its horrors and survived, namely Eric, the huntsman.
When Eric realizes Snow White is the daughter of the fallen king, he thought distancing himself would save her from harm (as his wife died from being with him). When it proved otherwise, he decides to help her take back what's rightfully hers: the throne.
The whole Snow-White-eats-apple-and-dies-but-is-awakened-by-a-kiss-from-her-true-love scene still happens in this version of the fairytale, no matter how many other things differed from the original work, of course. Albeit, it was never really revealed whose kiss undid the curse, it was strongly implied.
And alas, there was, naturally, a happy ending.
In spite of all that, now that I've seen this, it's safe to say I'm never going to judge a movie by its trailer ever again.
The worst part is, sometimes I find myself defending Kristen Stewart whenever someone criticizes her, be it regarding her stiff acting or rigid emotions. However, her part in this film demolished whatever decent opinion I had of her.
You'll understand what I mean when you hear her motivational speech before the big battle.
The production itself did little to help. For one, since when did women from that time wear pants under their gowns?
And all the hotness and good-looks of Chris Hemsworth could not possibly save this movie from being one of the worse films this year because his lines were as cheesy as mozzarella in pizzas.
Truth be told, the only silver lining in the movie was probably Charlize Theron, who played the Queen Ravenna. She was ultra-convincing in this adaptation of Snow White. I hated her character's guts. She's the kind of asshole everyone loves to hate.
Bravo, bravo, Charlize Theron.
But, like I said, she was the only silver lining. Second to that would be the seven dwarves (yes, they made an appearance too) and then the magic effects when they entered the fairies' domain. Liked the stag too. Pity it got shot.
All in all, I'd give this movie 2 stars out of 5. Don't bother watching it on the big screen if you haven't. Save your money. Download it or something.
That's about it, then :) CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: How are you feeling today?
***
Ola :)
So I went to school today. Woke up at 5:58a.m and left at around 6:45a.m. Spoke to Sausage whilst waiting for morning briefing to end then went downstairs for assembly.
After singing the national anthem, we headed back to our classes. Our first subject was English. Did a group essay today. Josh was thrilled at being in my group, saying, "I don't have to do anything!"
-.-
After English was Add Maths but our teacher failed to make an appearance today so we just did whatever we wanted. In my case, I copied our Bio notes for Chapter 3 from Xuan.
Ate a slice of Dellie's peanut butter bread for recess. Bought two buns for after school too. Then I asked Dellie if I could crash her house to see her Add Maths Project paper. Went back upstairs to class after calling my mom.
Maths was next. We received our test papers. I got 85%. I could've scored A+ but I had two very careless mistakes. Actually, three, and 1 retarded question, but never mind. At least I still got an A. And hey, it's the highest score in my class; I'm satisfied for now.
For our free period, Dellie and I went to see Miss Nina because I wanted the library's camera. Dellie had her own questions to ask. Was supposed to take only 10 minutes but we ended up staying for a period and 20 minutes. An hour, that means. The good thing is that our Chem teacher did not come so we had two periods of relief time when I returned. Bad news is, I skipped a period of Moral.
O.O
Upon returning, I just chatted around and relaxed until our Add Maths teacher suddenly showed up. And just like that, *snaps fingers*, it was Chapter 4 Add Maths exercises for us.
We managed to complete a few questions before we were given homework then let off. I followed Dellie to her house later. Had a very nice lunch, curtesy of her grandmother, then got down to business.
Surprisingly, I finished looking through her stuff at 3p.m so I had another hour and a half to spare. So, we spent that time playing "Chor Dai Di" until my sister came to get me.
Bathed, then sat upstairs in the middle room to do work. Of course, that was after I finished printing out the librarians' pictures.
Just came back from the stationary shop. Bought RM25-worth of stuff. Fasteners, pens, pencils (which was my main reason for going in the first place) and other small things.
My eyes are threatening to shut but I'm fighting the urge to sleep despite the fact I didn't get much this morning.
That's about it, then. CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: What time have you been sleeping?
***
Ola :)
Woke up really early today. Couldn't fall asleep despite the fact I slept earlier the night before. Anyways, I originally set the alarm for 8:40a.m. I was up by 7a.m. Was going to fall back to sleep but my brother's alarm rang then, at 7:30a.m.
Minutes later, I was up and on my way to the toilet. That was at 7:50a.m. When I was relaxing on the couch, however, I heard my grandpa downstairs. That was when I remembered my brother was supposed to bring him out to Al-Shifa Maju for breakfast.
Barged into the bedroom then to wake him up. In the end, I followed suit and drank a cup of iced milo. I didn't eat anything because that would've affected my weight when I meet Doctor Yong.
Bathed before the whole family set off for Dr Yong's office. Didn't have to wait long till our turn. Told my doctor everything and did the EEG test again.
Had lunch at FullHouse today. Ate my all-time favourite Alfredo spaghetti whilst drinking the soda red apple with fruit pop drink. Super full by the time we got home.
I bathed again after coming back because my hair was sticky from the EEG conductor. Then I finished pasting the pieces of square grid paper onto my homework paper for my Maths Chapter 3 :) Finished at around 6:15p.m.
Dinner was had alone because the family went out to visit a teacher whom had just given birth. I then ate a Solero split ice cream while watching TV. Downloaded Eloise At The Plaza but didn't watch it because it was time for bed.
Slept at 10:30p.m but didn't drift off until much later. I woke up when my aunt came in too. Super light sleeper tonight.
That's about it, then. CIAO!!

おバカの私が知ってる
I already know that I'm an idiot.
I already know that what I'm doing is endangering my health.
I already know that I'm burning a hole in their pockets.
I already know that if I don't heed anyone's warning, I'll end up suffering the severest of consequences.
But why the hell do you have to publicize what I do to everybody? So they can turn around and bite me in the rear too? How the frick is that supposed to help?
Yeah, maybe "I wouldn't listen unless it's my mom or dad saying it" but that's just going to make me more stubborn than before because you're already pissing me off.
And the fact that you're showing your temper is not putting the fire out at all.
You think I don't know that everyone's saying all that because they care? Lemme tell you something: At least when they tell me, they don't say it with an edge in their voices like as if they're gonna gorge my eyeballs from my sockets.
So yeah, I know everything. So just get off my back and allow me to win myself off my iPad in my own time and way, okay?
Sheesh.

Today's million-dollar question: What is poetic justice?
* * *
Ola :)
This is gonna be as short as I can possibly make it because I'm not supposed to be staring at the comp for too long.
Unnecessary information aside, I didn't go to school today. My aunt was pretty much against it because I slept at 1 o'clock the previous night (morning, more like) and I was told to catch up on my sleep.
Woke up at 10 something. Wasn't planning to, though. My phone was set to ring at 7:30a.m and I was awake even before then but I forced myself to sleep some more. It was that time of the year again, I guessed. When I finally decided to get up, it was to my mom's voice.
And even then, it was because she said that due to the water shortage at home, we had to eat out. Had lunch at De Maw Guan, the restaurant near the back of my brother's school. Or rather, his alma mater. Lunch there was fabulous, as always. My sister actually agreed to the pomfret today.
Hallelujah.
The rest of the day today was unhealthy for me. I didn't feel like doing any form of work so instead, I went on the computer and watched movies. Even downloaded The Simpsons Movie (much to my sister's disdain). Tried to stay as far away from the screen as was comfortably possibly to refrain from conjuring unwanted head pains, though.
Not that it was going to be enough to save me in my current condition.
-.-
Sometime around 3:45p.m, I messaged my dad to ask if he was going to send me to the doctor's. He then replied with: Appointment made at 10:30a.m tomorrow.
Of course, that meant another day off from school.
During that time, I was watching The Devil Wears Prada with my sister because she was bored of Home Alone -.-
Since we were running out of milk and soya bean by dinnertime, I asked for some money from my mom so we could get it from Tesco. For some reason, we were craving for ice cream too -.-
After getting those supplies, we came back home. Ate a Solero split ice cream whilst watching Batman Forever with the family. Went to bed at 11 something but didn't manage to sleep until much later.
That's about it. CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: If it's called The New iPad, do you say, "Get me the The New iPad"?
* * *
Ola :)
I know I haven't been blogging. It's for good reason.
I got another seizure today.
Here's how the story went: Woke up at 6:07a.m. Don't ask why my phone didn't ring. It just didn't. That aside, I went to school as usual, of course. Skipped morning briefing.
After a super long morning assembly, we went up to our respective classes. The first subject for the day was English and our teacher requested our presence in the Serbaguna Room where we completed our Literature booklets.
Halfway through, though, I decided to get the Add Maths Project worksheet from our Add Maths teacher. Two of my other friends came along because they needed it too. Once in the room, however, our teacher told us to find another teacher for the worksheet and instead, asked me to return our Add Maths test papers from the second penilaian.
I got a shock at first because I saw my marks were 47%. Turns out I was supposed to add 'em with my marks from the other paper (in which I got 52% for) and then wait for our sahsiah marks before dividing 'em by two. That last number would be our results.
If I get 15/20, I'd get the same results from my first exam = 57%.
If I get 20/20 (pray to God), I'd get 60%.
I'm hoping for the latter. You know, since it's a B. At least then I can get a little more motivated to study more. My problem now is my second paper because the 47% I got was over 100%.
I know O.O
The first paper was 52% over 80% so that's much better.
Anyways, after English, we went back upstairs. We were supposed to have Civic, but our teacher didn't come in. So, Andyy and I went over our Add Maths papers together to see where we needed help with. She got higher for paper 2. I got higher for paper 1.
Nothing to be proud of, but still~
:P
That aside, during recess, I was just about getting ready to leave the classroom when I suddenly blanked out and fell. I didn't even realize I was falling until it was too late. My classmates around me were like, "Oh my God, Lou, are you alright?"
I laughed it off because I thought it was nothing. Truth be told, it was because I had had the jerks before but no seizures followed. Naturally, I thought this was just another false alarm.
Either way, Andyy was way too freaked out to take any chances. So, she jotted my mom's number down and was about to send me to the library (where I was supposed to wait whilst she called her) when the seizure struck.
Apparently, my eyes rolled up, I fell, hit my head, shook like some spastic kid and began to froth at the mouth.
Same ol', same ol'?
-.-
The seizure didn't last too long this time. I vaguely remember Cyc picking me up and bringing me to the ladies' sick bay where I slept it off until my dad, sister and brother came. Was really irritated, though, for no particular reason. Just felt really irritable.
All I wanted to do was sleep.
So that's all I did for the next Lord-knows-how-many hours. The only time I woke up was to eat dinner, at around 7 something. Couldn't fall asleep after that. Was hungry.
O.O
Had that Aromantic drink then. Still, sleep failed to tempt me. Ended up watching Batman Returns outside with the rest of my family-minus-Dad-and-Gramps-and-Aunt until around 1 something?
Yeah~
That's about it for the 11th. CIAO!!

Ola :)
I know I haven't been blogging. It's for good reason.
I got another seizure today.
Here's how the story went: Woke up at 6:07a.m. Don't ask why my phone didn't ring. It just didn't. That aside, I went to school as usual, of course. Skipped morning briefing.

Me And You Against The World - Keke Palmer & Max Schneider *Rags* + D
Put your heart in it
You can go the distance
Me and You Against The World
The sky is the limit
Push to the finish
Me and You Against The World
We did it for love
We tried and we won
We'll never give up
It's me and you
Against the world
What I knowRight now
Is I came
So far
To my heart
You got a key
I was lost
'Til you found me
Through all the glamour
That's the lights and the cameras
Honestly all you saw was me
You didn't care what they said
You stood by me instead
Together we're a stronger team
Ohhh
Put your heart in it
You can go the distance
Me and You Against The World
The sky is the limit
Push to the finish
Me and You Against The World
We did it for love
We tried and we won
We'll never give up
It's Me and You Against The World
I know
From my dreams
They say I'm crazy
No matter what
When you're around
It feels like we both are
Certain it's the real thing
Nothing beats the feeling
Only our hearts can know
Who cares what they say?
They can't get in our way
Two dreamers just dreaming alo-o-one
Put your heart in it
You can go the distance
Me and You Against The World
(Against the world)
The sky is the limit
Push to the finish
Me and you against the world
We did it for love
We tried and we won
We'll never give up
It's me and you
Against the world
We fight together
We're down forever
Me and You Against The World
We stick together
And it gets better
Me and You Against The World
Put your heart in it
You can go the distance
Me and You Against The World
The sky is the limit
Push to the finish
Me and You Against The World
We did it for love
We tried and we won
We'll never give up
It's me and you against the world
Put your heart in it
You can go the distance
Me and You Against The World
The sky is the limit
Push to the finish
Me and you against the world
We did it for love
We tried and we won
We'll never give up
It's Me and You Against The World
