Utawarerumono

Kay, as promised, I'll now review Utawaremono, an anime I got from Lina the last time she visited. Unfortunately, it came English dubbed, so I didn't exactly look forward to watching it everytime I wanted to.

Haiz... Anyways, this is mainly about a guy, who was later named Hakuoro, who lost his memories. He woke up in an unknown hut with a girl beside him, who apparently saved him from a forest. 

He was then accepted into the village by the village head, Tuskuru, who's also the girl's grandmother. This anime is really interesting if you're finding something that has supernatural happenings in the ancient times, where Japan and all that never existed. 

Yet. :P

Anyways, Hakuoro soon finds himself very involved in the village and with the girl, Eruruu, as well. This is a very nice story because it shows the importance of friendship and how greed can turn you into someone horrid, who'd sacrifice more than a thousand lives for either money or revenge.
