This was one of the birthday presents I gave to Alexandria. The other was her own song that I played out on the piano. It's not good, I never said it was, but I just felt like putting it on for fun.
I woke up one day
Getting ready for school
I reached there in time and
Tried not to look like a fool
I met you in my second year
Which means I was nine
You asked me how I was
And I said I was fine
Friends forever
That's what we are
Friends forever
Nothing will break us apart
Cause that's what friends are for...
Because that's what friends are for...
I couldn't wait
Till the next day
When I see you again and
To hear what you had to say
You told me you would draw and
I told you I could write
Together we made stories so good
We had a fright
Friends forever
We had our fights
Friends forever
It lasted for nights
But that's what friends are for...
Because that's what friends are for...
