Today's million-dollar question: Why is blood thicker than water?
* * *
Ola :)
Sorry for the long-awaited post -_- Unfortunately, I can't really remember what happened on the 23rd. I just know about the 24th and 25th.
Very, very sorry.
Anyways, on the 24th, we woke up at 10 something. Bathed and got dressed then went downstairs to grab some breakfast. My sister got Subway and I got half-boiled eggs.
:(
I wanted Subway too~~ :P
My sister, at first, had to go for rehearsals with her other friends, but thanks to someone who called in sick, rehearsals were cancelled. Instead, she studied Jap with me. She had a test at 1 o'clock so she wanted to get as much as possible down before that.
At 12 something, she sent me off to Kent Ridge Road because Guam invited me to her house for a baking session.
AWESOME!!
It was exciting for me too because that meant I was going to be using the MRT alone for the first time. The experience was great. I couldn't stop smiling like some stupid idiot who's never ridden on an MRT before.
I love Singapore's public transport. You don't get stuff like that in Malaysia -_-
After the MRT ride, I waited for about 5 minutes before Guam got me. We then went for lunch in a nearby place. I had some meehoon stuff that she recommended. Halfway through, I met my sister's other friend, Law. Not long after, we were joined by Pascal.
After lunch, we went shopping for ingredients. At around 3 something, we went back to Guam's house and chilled around for a while. Played the piano whilst Pascal played some game on his laptop.
Then, we started baking. Well, I did most of the ingredient mixing, but Law and Pascal helped to whisk the eggs :)
My sister joined us soon after.
The first time it came out of the oven, it wasn't cooked enough -_- Second time it went in, it wasn't cooked enough.
I think the third time worked. We definitely gave up :P It didn't taste too bad, though. After eating, we chilled a little more, watching videos and all that, before heading out for dinner. We had dinner at this dim sum place. Nice stuff.
Then we headed back to PGP and watched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood till 2 something :P
That's about it :) CIAO!!

Mayo Chiki!
Okie dokie :) Another anime review after a long time. This was one of the more recent ones that I fairly liked. It's called Mayo Chiki.
Sakamachi Kinji is your average 17-year-old who attends school like every other normal human being.
なんてね
Like anime would allow for such a lame ass story line where the main character is an average person living a normal life. Unlike other "normal people", Kinji has gynophobia.
For those who have no idea what the eff that is, it's a fear towards females.
Uh-huh, this wimp is scared of girls.
Not to say he's actually scared of them, but more like his condition prevents him from going anywhere near them. This sickness causes him to suffer from a nose bleed every time he comes into physical contact with other girls.
On the other hand, there's the all-popular Suzutsuki Kanade, the very rich single daughter of the high school principal, and her butler, Konoe Subaru, who is loved by all the girls in the school.
What they do not know, however, is the fact that Subaru is actually a very real girl. Kinji just had very bad luck finding out when he accidentally walks in on her in the boys' bathroom - so technically, it ain't even his fault.
They don't care, nonetheless, so now, he's always being kept a close eye on by Subaru and Kanade because Subaru was only allowed to be a butler (which is obviously so because butlers are always male) on the condition that no one found out about her real gender.
Hallelujah, that's pretty much how the story goes. This show is quite nice. The first episode might be a bit... pervy, though, just to warn you in case you decide to watch it. Even so, it's alright.

Astarotte no Omocha
It's been long since I reviewed any of the animes I watched, so I'm just going to review the ones I've watched before, but never really got around to reviewing.
This has been out for quite some time now. They're in stores too, but I didn't buy it because I watched everything online. This one's called Astarotte no Omocha, which literally translates to Astarotte's Toy.
It tells the story of a ten-year-old succubus princess, Astarotte (also known as Lotte), who has just come of age. In this anime, it is customary for a coming-of-age succubus to have a male harem. Quite unfortunately, due to an incident in previous years where Astarotte walked in on her mother and some other dude. Due to this, she is insistent that she will never have a male harem.
However, since everyone around her was pestering her to have a male harem because it was her "duty" as a succubus princess, she relented on the condition that a human male joined the harem.
Once again, quite unfortunately for her, they managed to run into Tohara Naoya, whom, under very complicated circumstances, was brought to their world to be a part of Astarotte's harem.
Oh, and he brought his ten-year-old daughter, Asuha, as well.
This anime is... quite alright, except for the fact that I think it's twisted because of Naoya's past with Astarotte's mother, Mercelida. I hated Mercelida because she made Naoya part of HER harem too, which means Asuha is a product of their... err... togetherness -_-
Bleghh~ That's just SO wrong.
I like Naoya. He's nice and cute. But he's an asshole as well. They never end up together. It's animes like these - where the main character is just too friggin' young to "end up" with anyone - that piss the shit out of me.
Eeesh.
Either way, that's just from my point of view. A few ecchi scenes here and there, but hey, animes nowadays are bound to have that sort of element in one way or another in them. Not a personal favourite, but I got by it.
Love the ending song, though, "Manatsu no Photograph". You would've seen it already if you've been diligently following my blog previously :)
Haha.

Today's million-dollar question: What did you have for lunch?
* * *
Ola :)
Yes, I'm still blogging. Don't look so surprised. Have a little more faith in me.
-.-
Woke up at 10++a.m today. My sister didn't have anything planned in the morning so we were allowed to wake up a wee bit later than yesterday. Almost 10 minutes after waking up, we continued watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. After four episodes, my sister and I bathed, then went off to have brunch.
Subway. Nice.
It was to go, though. So we ate in the Student Lounge in YST again. I had the usual tuna sandwich and my sister had the Subway Club, which was also very nice. I might consider that the next time I am fortunate enough to have Subway.
After eating, my sister and I headed to the Seminar Room where she was going to be rehearsing with some other people for something I'm not too sure about. Even now as I'm typing this, I'm listening to them practice. I absolutely love trios, quartets, quintets and all that because the sounds of the instruments blend together much more... nicely?
Sorry, my range of vocabulary hasn't expanded in the past few... years. Haven't been reading. Should find time.
Should stop talking to myself.
Okay, never mind, then :) Will continue later in the day. CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: How much does an average female need to consume per day?
* * *
Ola :)
I know, I know, I'm sorry I didn't continue from where I left off yesterday. Remember, I've posted about previous days in the previous posts, yeah? :)
After a lot of hours alone in the Lounge Room, waiting for my sister to finish with her own stuff that morning-afternoon, she came and picked me up with Guam. Then, we headed off for lunch in the Cafe Cartel. Don't ask me where that was - I have no idea.
I had a very nice dish of chicken and mushroom macaroni as well as a minty lime soda drink. My advise, don't get the minty lime soda drink. It's not as nice as what it makes itself out to be. I was fooled.
Yeah~
Pascal joined us some time during our lunch and ordered his stuff - some humongous burger that he, in the end, had to take apart bit by bit to eat individually.
-.-
Not long after, my sister left us because she had something else to do in YST. I, on the other hand, was offered to join Guam and Pascal as they went to have Pascal's hair cut.
So yeah, I followed them. It was absolutely awesome because I got to use the EZ Link card to access the MRT. Guam and I toyed with Pascal camera for a while - but he started taking weird pictures first.
Where Pascal got his hair cut, Guam and I watched Kung Fu Panda 2. They served very nice iced lemon tea too. Guam insisted because she was in love with it. Laughed quite a bit thanks to the movie and we managed to catch the whole thing before we left the place.
Pascal's hair... Well, it was okay, I guess. One just needs to get used to it. He looked all the more like Pascal when he took his glasses off, though.
HAHA.
Following the haircut session, Pascal, Guam and I met up with my sister for dinner. Dinner was fantastic too. We had a Chinese style dinner with omelette, yam stuff, kangkung, and salted egg prawns. Nice. Had a nice laugh about some personal stuff too.
Aiseh~
After dinner, my sister and I rushed back to YST because she was page-turning for a guy's recital. The guy was absolutely legendary - to me, anyways. He played REALLY well. Oh, and he was the guy who said The Three Musketeers was a great movie too, so I shall dub him D'Artagnan.
My sister and I went back to PGP after all that. Made her watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood after getting a late-night snack at the Foodgle place. Nice~ :P
At 2 o'clock, we went to sleep :) Will blog about today in the next post, yeah? CIAO!!

Right Here Waiting - Kurt Hugo Schneider *Richard Marx* + D
Oceans apart, day after day
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice on the line
But it doesn't stop the pain
If I see you next to never
But how can we say forever
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
I took for granted, all the times
That I thought would last somehow
I hear the laughter, I taste the tears
But I can't get near you now
Oh, can't you see it, baby
You've got me goin' crazy
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
I wonder how we can survive
This romance
But in the end if I'm with you
I'll take the chance
Oh, can't you see it, baby
You've got me goin' crazy
Wherever you go, whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
Waiting for you

I Did It For You - Charice
Minutes turn to hours
Hours turn to days
Knew what I had to do
Couldn't find the words to say
Had the perfect story
Stories have an end
Had to turn the page cause
To keep you was a sin oh ~
You know I loved you with
(Everything that I had)
But what you needed I
{Couldn't be, held you back)
I cared enough about you
To give you the chance
To find someone who care
I broke your heart
(I did it for you)
Tore us apart
(I did it for you)
Just walked away
(I did it for you) Oh ~
For you ~
You wouldn't want my everything
(did it for you)
Someone you knew that I couldn't be
(did it for you)
Why don't you ever understand me
But its true, its true
I did it for you, for you ~
I could say I'm sorry
Wouldn't mean a thing
Tell you what you want to hear
Baby what you wanted wasn't for me
Held you by a string
Had to cut you loose
Cause forever something we can't be
You know I loved you with
(Everything that I had)
But what you needed I
{Couldn't be, held you back)
I cared enough about you
To give you the chance
To find someone who care
I broke your heart
(I did it for you)
Tore us apart
(I did it for you)
Just walked away
(I did it for you ) Oh
For you
You wouldn't want my everything
(did it for you)
Someone you knew that I couldn't be
(did it for you)
Why don't you ever understand me
But its true, its true
I did it for you ~
They say the ones that you love
Are the ones you hurt the most
For all the pain that I've caused you
Baby I'm sorry ~
I did it for you~
(I did it for you)
Tore us apart
I'm so sorry babe
(did it for you)
Just walked away
I did it for you, for you ~
You wouldn't wanted my everything, everything ~
(did it for you)
Someone you knew that I couldn't be
(did it for you)
Why don't you ever understand me
But its true, its true
I did it for you, for you ~

Today's million-dollar question: What is a best friend?
* * *
Ola :)
I posted about the 21st in the previous post so go read that first :P
Anyways, today, I woke up at 2 o'clock in the morning just to go to the toilet. Bloody pissed me off. Had to run to the toilet. Was so afraid people would see me 'cause I was in my jammies -_- I DID run into someone, but she was wearing jammies too, so it didn't make me look like an idiot.
Good thing was that I didn't have a headache anymore :D
Went back to sleep.
At 8 something, my sister woke me up and I had to go and bathe. At first, I thought I'd hate to use the hostel's toilet, but quite on the contrary, I think I prefer that toilet to the one at home. You see, the one at home is either too cold at first or too hot later.
-_-
Bleghh~
Took a bus to some place where my sister bought breakfast. Kaya toasts and half-boiled egg. Yum~ The kaya was way too sweet, though. Could hardly taste the egg. Sister left me not long after she ate because she had some class.
So it's just me, alone, in the student lounge, using the school's computer to blog -_- Listening to Charice's "One Day" now. Nice to know Cleo likes this song too. Was listening to Jason Chen's "Best Friend" too. I like that song. It's really nice. If you haven't listened to it, listen to it -_-
Haha.
Since it's only 10:34a.m, there's nothing much to tell of today, so I'll leave the rest to later in the day :) CIAO!!

Today's million-dollar question: What is my haven?
* * *
Ola :)
Yes, yes, you may applaud :P For it is that time of the year where I finally get back into the blogging spirit. Very, very sorry to have had kept my many readers in suspense whilst I decide every day that I am just way too lazy to sit and blog about my day.
-_-
I-am-SO-egoistic.
When it comes to my writing skills, I mean. Not to say they are anything close to being of the credible sort - I've just recently come across someone who writes much better than the shit I bring myself to write (and he's not even an aspiring author - I think -.-).
As for why I'm rekindling my love for blogging, it's probably because I have a lot of time to spare. Why?
I. Am. In. SINGAPORE!!!!!
Yes, yes, imma in Singapore. Travelled here yesterday, by bus. As I'm typing this, I'm actually speaking in that 'Uh-huh, yeah, I did it. In your face, suckers' tone.
Sue me.
Anyways, I caught the 9 o'clock bus yesterday on Aeroline. Very narrowly missed it, though. My mom thought I was supposed to collect the tickets only 15 minutes before departure time. In actual fact, it was 30 minutes before. I was pretty much 10 minutes late collecting my ticket when we realized. Didn't help that my dad was thinking of cancelling my trip there.
Went ballistic.
Thankfully, there were people still collecting tickets when I arrived so I didn't miss the bus :)
Boarded at 9:08a.m and slept for a while. Not long after, they served breakfast. There was a chicken and ham sandwich, some pastry thing and an apple. Left the apple. Didn't fancy the pastry. The sandwich, though, was nice :)
Quite unfortunately, it didn't occur to me to take a picture of it to post in my blog -_- Not that taking pictures on my sucky phone will help appeal to the audience -_-
Bleghh~
The five-hour trip was tiring, though. Passed time by watching cartoon movies on the bus, but I didn't watch any of them till the end. There was "Horton Hears A Who" which I stopped pretty fast because it was quite boring. Then I watched "How To Train Your Dragon" but it was the one of bad quality so I didn't bother continuing. Next, I tried "Chicken Run" but stopped after the pit stop because it was getting boring.
Also, at this point of time, I was already feeling really dizzy.
Last movie I tried watching was "Despicable Me". That was the longest movie I watched but even so, I didn't finish it. After all, I'd already watched it before, so... Yeah.
Spent the rest of my time either messaging my parents or my sister. I was too afraid of falling asleep in the bus for fear I might miss passing Malaysian or Singaporean immigrations. Those places are just too damn intimidating. All the lanes look the same. It's hard to tell which one I'm supposed to go to.
Either that or I'm just plain stupid.
Anyway, after passing Singaporean immigrations, it started to rain. Heavily. It's like Singapore knew I was going to invade -_-
My sister was there to pick me up when I got off the bus. We were all smiles. My sister brought me back to PGP first before we went for lunch. Had chicken rice and bubble tea. Wasn't too keen on my sister leaving me to buy the bubble tea, though, 'cause the dude started talking in Mandarin and I didn't understand -_-
Well, not until he gestured.
After that, I followed my sister to YST where she had to do some photoshoot stuff with her friends, Guam and Pascal. At first, I didn't like Pascal. He seemed way too... err... outspoken. Loud, too. And he wanted me to lick and polish his shoes before he gave me access to his 2TB hard drive which had 1TB worth of anime inside.
I know, right?
After the shoot, we went back to the room where he let me peruse his hard drive. He also gave me an insight to each of the anime. It was that moment when I decided to give him a second chance. After all, if he could spare his time to explain all that to me, he can't be that bad :P
...
Oh, I think I forgot to mention he's a photographer. He used to go to my sister's college, MCKL. He takes really good shots of my sister.
Of anyone, actually. His stuff are awesome. The way he gets protective over his equipment can be quite annoying, though -_-
That aside, I transferred like... 5 animes into my sister's laptop? Absolutely awesome. I think her hard drive's already full.
HAHA.
It's because of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Soon, we left the place for dinner at this Japanese place in The Cathay called Nihon Mura, which means Japanese Forest. It was really nice. The only thing that ruined my day was that I was having a splitting headache thanks to me watching movies on a moving vehicle.
Aiseh~
Stupid move.
Pungent joined us halfway through dinner and ordered more stuff to eat. I was already full so I didn't eat anymore. After footing the bill, we left the place. My sister and I grabbed that 1.20SGD ice cream which she liked - coffee flavour :P Then, we went to this place Guam took us to which sold tau fu fa. Nice stuff, but I didn't take much. I still had a headache, that's why.
When we returned to PGP, it was only 10 something, but I was so bloody tired and annoyed with my headache that I fell asleep straightaway.
That's about it for the 21st :) Tune in for today's post! CIAO!!

CIAO!!

Nick Pitera
My sister introduced me to this genius. I absolutely love his videos. Especially those where he sings the female lead.
Absolutely fascinating. CIAO!!
