AAA

Okie, okie :)

This is one manga that I decided to read since I wanted to do a manga review instead of an anime one :P

This manga is called AAA and was illustrated/written by Fukushima Haruka. It centers around a particular person namely Ogata Aoi from the Shuutoku High School. The school is, in fact, your typical rich-person's school where the wealthy and smart attend so hands down, we know Aoi's smart.

Actually, Aoi's the school's AAA, which, in their terms, means the best student. She's also the school's student council president.

Haha.

Nonetheless, she doesn't really care if she's the school's AAA. In fact, she doesn't think she deserves the title, since there was someone else who beat her in the school's entrance exam. In the end, he didn't attend that school and Aoi never returned his mechanical pencil to him.

Yeah, I can imagine your confused expressions at the mo -_-

The story goes like this:

Aoi was going to go for the entrance exam when she realized she'd left her mechanical pencil and normal pencils at home. Why? Because she was in a dilemma on which to bring that she forgot to bring both.

Yes, I know, for a smart girl, she's pretty stupid :P

That aside, the boy next to her decided to lend her his pencil and since then, she'd wanted to see him again, but since he didn't get to attend the same school, she never got the chance.

What's more, all she has of him is his pencil and a name: Kuroda Hayato.

Aaah, here comes the interesting part. Just when she thinks she's one step closer to finding her "first crush" - as she calls him - she gets tangled with the bad boys from the neighbouring school - Akutoku High School - and the gang leader wants her as his lackey!

As if it's not bad enough that she has to disguise herself as a guy and sneak into Akutoku High every time she gets a message from the gang leader, she finds out that he has the same name as her "first crush", Kuroda Hayato!

My conclusion: She ends up with the guy I said she would.

Even so, there are some interesting twists in the story, though we never got to understand certain things in the manga.

I'm not too crazy about the drawing style either, but hey, it's alright :)

Anyways, today I woke up decently early at 9:09 a.m. But that's partly cause my mom wanted me to help her find a book and ask my aunt to take it out to the shop for her.

Sadly, I couldn't find it.

Continued watching Wizards of Waverly Place - my new series-to-download into my iPad using SaveAll - on my iPad after that. Bathed then at around noon or one o'clock so I could join my mom down at the organic shop for lunch.

Had roti canai. Mwahaha.

Came back then continued using the computer and Mac for a while more. I wanted to save more space on my iPad so I converted all the music videos in my iPad into mp3 format in order to save space.

Also decided to read manga for the first time in a really, really long time. I started reading AAA and Gosick. Gosick is one of the anime I've been hooked on since the first episode. I loved how the small girl was smart. Plus, with every episode, I keep wanting more so...

AAA is a little more... Manga-like because it's so cliche. Haha. Still, I wanted to read any manga that caught my eye so...

I would actually get psyched about another new chapter of Faster Than A Kiss or Charming Junkie except there's always gonna be another chapter and it'll be eons before they upload it so I'm gonna wait until they reach a bloody ending before I get hooked on it again.

Yeah, so at around three thirty something, I left the house with my dad to go for Physics and Chemistry class. It's currently break time after Physics. Very interesting :)

Okay, okay, it's currently 8:17 p.m. And I just got back from tuition. I didn't have to wait long for my dad to get me, thank God. In fact, I didn't have to wait at all.

I'm gathering this is probably all for me to blog about today. If I stay up late, it'll be to watch Megamind again or watch Wizards of Waverly Place on my iPad :P

Ola :)

Blogging from the Mac at the moment. As I'm doing so, I'm also downloading Taking 5 on my iPad :) I've actually watched it before, I just wanted to watch it again :P

Mwahaha.

Anyways, today, I woke up quite late *around noon* because I slept really late last night. Not because I was doing homework or whatsoever, but because I was busy watching stuff on my iPad :P I actually downloaded Read It and Weep, the Disney Channel Original Movie that I never watched even though I was dying to. Yeah, so I watched that yesterday.

Oh, and Jason Dolley looked so cute in that movie :P Mwahaha.

The main reason, though, that I slept really late was because of Megamind. I was nearing the end of the movie when my aunt came out of the bedroom and swore to tell my parents if I didn't go in and sleep.

So...

I kinda spent maybe half an hour to forty-five minutes trying to sneak under her bed with the blanket over my head to finish watching the movie.

Trust me, if you were there, you'd think it was genius :P

By the way, I also finished both seasons of Sonny With A Chance and I hated how it ended. There'd better be a third season or I'd hate the show forever.

Oh, and Sterling Knight was absolutely adorable in the show, except I preferred his first-season-haircut. He looked too "good boy" in the second season :P But he became so much nicer in the second season. So cute :P

Suddenly I feel like watching StarStruck again :P

Had shake for lunch today -_- Ugh, right? :P Nothing much happened after that, though. Went on surfing the net for a while and also reviewed two anime and Megamind, in previous posts :) Haha.

Feel very bad today, though, because I was supposed to do all my homework today so I could take the rest of the week easy, but I didn't :( Too hooked on my iPad :P

But chill, I think I'll be in the homework-mood tomorrow :) Heehee. Besides, I'll have to if I don't wanna get screwed next Monday -_-

Megamind

Don't you just love the second picture? :P

Yeah, I bought this just yesterday because my friends were all "Megamind's so nice!!" and "Megamind this" and "Megamind that" so I decided I wanted to see what was so funny about it.

Turns out it was really nice :)

You know what I thought honestly the first time I saw this was going to be out in the cinemas?

"How the hell can anyone think someone blue like that with a big blue head as nice?"

That is, until I watched it :P

It starts off with Megamind falling from mid air with some weird-looking gun falling alongside him. Then he starts to narrate his story from the very beginning. And when he says "the beginning", he ain't lying, he seriously starts from when he was a baby.

I can't say I liked him as a baby though, cause... I've got issues with... tiny creatures -_- Explains why I hate human babies as well -_-

But he was otherwise hilarious throughout the rest of the movie :) The plot, the twist, the characters, I couldn't find a reason not to like the movie after I finished it.

Except maybe the fact that I think the girl - Roxanne Richie - could've been a tad more pretty. That doesn't make her any less amusing in the movie, though, because her sarcastic puns were a joy to listen to.

Haha.

I hated the Metroman baby, though -_- He looked so... yong sui that I wanted to punch his teeth out. What "perfect" hair? Eeesh.

I liked the overall story line because it's so unexpected, though I kinda guessed that Metroman would've still been alive, but I didn't know he had to go through all that pondering in superspeed -_-

Cute, though.

That's about it, really. I enjoyed this movie :) Especially the "You're fun" part. That part was SO Cleo. I wanted to laugh like anything :P

Otome Youkai Zakuro

Okay, this anime is called Otome Youkai Zakuro. It's one of the anime that I was hooked on, remember?

Anyways, it's mainly about this... group of half-youkai who are forced to work with lieutenants of the imperial army under the Ministry of Spirit Affairs. This ministry was built to help youkai and the human race better understand each other through the solving of youkai occurrences around the area.

Nonetheless, it doesn't help Zakuro, one of the half-youkai girls, from hating the lieutenants because she cannot forgive those who accept Jesuit practices easily. This was, of course, during the era of Westernization and during those times, nobody trusted youkai, thinking they were dangerous and harmful to the human race and also, that the world would probably be better off without 'em.

Naturally, Zakuro wouldn't fancy that idea -_-

Doesn't help her that her "partner", Kei Agemaki, is absolutely terrified of spirits. Zakuro often categorizes him as "wimp" because he's always so scared of whatever spirits they have to face.

The other half-youkai were a little more open-minded with their partners, of course. There is Susukihotaru, who was partnered with solemn-faced Riken Yoshinokazura, and the twins Hozuki and Bonbori who were partnered with the youngest lieutenant in the imperial army, Ganryu Hanakiri. He is considered by the twins very special because he's the only one who can tell them apart, which makes them all the more attracted to him.

Haha.

Throughout the anime they face all sorts of youkai activities, both good and bad, but like every other anime, they have one specific highlight that concludes the anime with a big finale. The ending for this anime was very likable and though it could've been a little more satisfactory, it's satisfying enough :)

Shinrei Tantei Yakumo

Mwahaha. Finally, I've gathered the... hardworking-ness in me and decided to review this anime :)

The first time I tried to buy this anime, I spent too long trying to find if there were any other anime I wanted, so my dad stopped me when he walked into Popular *where I normally bought my anime since it's cheaper there*

The second time I tried to buy this anime, it was sold out.

So was it the third time I tried -_-

And consequently every time I tried after that.

I then decided to watch the remaining episodes on www.animeseason.com since it was the only place I could watch it for free. They didn't have it on Youtube so... -_-

Anyways, Shinrei Tantei Yakumo a.k.a. Psychic Detective Yakumo is about a guy called Saito Yakumo who was often cast aside because of his red left eye. Because of its abnormality, he wears green contact lenses to hide it.

Which actually I don't understand why since he looks damn nice with the red eye :P

That aside, his red eye actually allows him to see the spirits of the dead. It might freak other people out, but it doesn't seem to disturb Yakumo in any way because he believes that these spirits and ghosts are left behind because of a certain cause. Yakumo often helps detectives - particularly this lazy but somewhat capable Detective Gotou - solve these weird occurrences.

It was also through this... "habit" that Yakumo met Ozawa Haruka, a girl who came to him for help to save one of her friends after the other two died of something paranormal.

Or... something like that -_-

Don't worry, I'll watch it again after this just to remember :P

Haha.

Since then, Haruka has been tailing Yakumo everywhere, solving these mysteries with him. Sometimes, Haruka gets involved in them without her knowing and she tries her best to help Yakumo as well.

Gradually his heart softens, yadayadayada, and eventually, Yakumo begins to trust her a little more than he trusts himself, even -_-

Which is absolutely adorable.

I also love his strange antics and sarcastic remarks regarding Haruka's sex appeal and stuff like that. Really, really, really cute :)

Mwahaha.

The ending, I gathered, could be a little more... satisfying, though, because I really wanted something more to happen -_-
