We Found Love - Megan Nicole *Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris* + D
Yellow diamonds in the light
And we're standing side by side
As your shadow crosses mine
What it takes to come alive
It's the way I'm feeling I just can't deny
But I've gotta let it go
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
Shine a light through an open door
Love and life I will divide
Turn away cause I need you more
Feel the heartbeat in my mind
It's the way I'm feeling I just can't deny
But I've gotta let it go
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
Yellow diamonds in the light
And we're standing side by side
As your shadow crosses mine
What it takes to come alive
It's the way I'm feeling I just can't deny
But I've gotta let it go
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place

The Hardest Thing - Tyler Ward feat. Kurt Hugo Schneider + D
1st verse:
still framed photograph
of you and me together
is all i have of you and me
anymore
we were so inlove and
we thought it would last forever
but we were torn
by the storms
chorus:
and i won't forget you
I can't forget you
and the hardest thing I've done
is how to live without you
and I wonder why
we both walked away
i'm lost without you
still crazy for you
just turn around come back
because your smile is overdue
and i miss you
2nd verse:
If I only knew the words to say
that would make you turn around
I would say the words to you
more than a million times
It's been forever but that hasn't changed
what you mean to me
and darling can't you see?
Chorus:
that I won't forget you
I can't forget you
and the hardest thing I've done is
how to live without you
and I wonder why we both walked away
i'm lost without you
still crazy for you
just turn around come back
because your smile is overdue
and i miss you
Bridge:
I'm sorry for all I did
all I said
and
the things I hid
I'm finally over me
is that too late for you?
I can't imagine where I'd be
if you had never rescued me
you showed me what it is
and now i see
Chorus:
and I won't forget you
I can't forget you
and the hardest thing I've done is
how to live without you
and I wonder why
we both walked away
i'm lost without you
still crazy for you
just turn around come back
because your smile is overdue
and i miss you

One Day - Charice + D
One day (x3)
[Charice - Verse 1]
They're not gonna keep me down
They're not gonna shut me out
They're gonna do what they do, I'll do me
I'm going against the crowd
I'm drowning out the doubt
They're gonna do what they do, I'll do
Something original, be unforgettable
They're gonna know my name
[Chorus]
One day, make you a believer
One day, got this all I need is
One day, don't try to tell me I can't
Right now, I'm running the future
Watchout, won't stop I'm a mover
One day, you're gonna know who I am
Oh when I'm high and free
It's not fate, wait and see, One day
[Charice - Verse 2]
I've been afraid to fall,
Too much for something more
But now that I see that it's mine,
I'll take it
Just go ahead and try,
You're not gonna change my mind
There's no such thing as too late
Yeah!
[Chorus]
One day, make you a believer
One day, got this all I need is
One day, don't try to tell me I can't
Right now, I'm running the future
Watchout, won't stop I'm a mover
One day, you're gonna know who I am
Oh when I'm high and free
It's not fate, wait and see
[Bridge]
I'm on a mission, no longer listening
To anyone that says don't try
Sometimes you feel it deep in your spirit
It's like a fire that won't die
One day
Wait and see
One day
Oh
Just wait and see it
[Chorus]
One day, make you a believer
One day, got this all I need is
One day, don't try to tell me I can't
Right now, I'm running the future
Watchout, won't stop I'm a mover
One day, you're gonna know who I am
Oh when I'm high and free
It's not fate, wait and see, One day
One day, One day, One day, One day, One day

Louder - Charice + D
Louder (x4)
I'm staring out of my window
And the rain is pouring down
When you left, I was so low
But I'm not gonna drown
I don't need no shoulder
I'm gonna be a soldier
I just wanna feel somethin' I don't understand
I'm just gonna run right through the rain
I'm just gonna dance right through the pain
I just wanna feel that rhythm, feel that drum
Let my heart beat louder
Let my heart speak louder than my head [head, head, head]
Heart beat louder than my head [head, head, head]
Heart speak louder
Wanna feel that rhythm, feel that drum
Let my heart beat louder
Let my heart speak louder than my head
I, I am over overthinking of how to get you back
I'm checking out for the weekend
And I ain't going back
I don't need no shoulder
I'm gonna be a soldier
I just wanna feel somethin' I don't understand
I'm just gonna run right through the rain
I'm just gonna dance right through the pain
I just wanna feel that rhythm, feel that drum
Let my heart beat louder
Let my heart speak louder than my head [head, head, head]
Heart beat louder than my head [head, head, head]
Heart speak louder
Wanna feel that rhythm, feel that drum
Let my heart beat louder
Let my heart speak louder than my head
Oh, letting go
Yet it feel so good, so right
Oh, all I know
Is that I let my heart beat
Heart speak louder than my louder than my
Heart beat heart speak louder than my louder than my
Heart beat heart speak louder than my louder than my louder, louder, louder, louder

Today's million-dollar question: What's a good love story?
* * *
Ola :)
I blogged about the 29th in the last post, just so you know. Well then, I left off where I slept at 2 o'clock in the morning, right?
Woke up at 10 something in the morning. My aunt just came in and she broke down again. Naturally, I calmed her down. I managed NOT to cry. Well, a lot, anyway.
That aside, I went downstairs and saw that my grandpa was already up with my uncle. I went to freshen up and then had breakfast. My uncle bought some stuff in the market so I ate some.
Aunt was still in quite a bad shape even after we ate, so I just went around watching the workers put up stuff for the funeral service. Popo had already gone to be washed and made up, so the Semenyih people could do their work without any hindrances.
Mom called a couple of times because she wanted to check on the progress and everything.
After a while - I can't remember when - Popo's casket came back and this is when the waterfalls came again. My grandpa cried like anything. My aunt as well.
My sister was catching the 8 o'clock bus ride back from Singapore so my parents went to get her before coming to PJ. When they came, my sister pulak cried like anything. She just couldn't accept it, I guess. My mom also started to cry and everything.
My brother had a stone face, as usual.
Can't remember the rest of the day. Well, much, anyway.
Ooh, but I do remember that we had to stay up late to wait for my granduncle and his family to come over. My sister and I were playing Cluster Master on my iPad and my brother slept a little on the sleeping mat at our feet. My aunt was already upstairs sleeping.
Not long after, my brother and sister couldn't stay up any longer so they went up to sleep. I, on the other hand, indulged myself in Mr Darcy's Diary. I had my parents bring it over when they went back the night before.
My granduncle's family came over at 5 o'clock in the morning. My Kau Kung, Kau Fu, Kam Po, and Ee Po arrived in their black *insert car brand here* and stayed up for the rest of the morning because there was not much to do. Plus, my brilliant siblings didn't know that E E Nan was supposed to share the room with them, so they technically took up all their sleeping space.
Kau Fu had to sleep outside the room on the IKEA chair.
Kau Kung went outside to take a smoke, then went to sleep in their car.
After E E Nan woke up, Kau Fu and Kau Kung went to sleep in the room she slept in. My siblings were still sleeping so...
Yeah~
After that, it was my turn to retire to bed :) CIAO!!

Suit Songs
There are some songs that reflect exactly what you're feeling right now. So, here are some songs I think suit some of my family members now:
Kung Kung, it's okay, yeah?
That's not gonna work, Jamie. You want her, give her some freedom and don't misjudge situations.
Mommy, she'll always be in your heart, yeah?
You're home, Po. We'll miss you, but you're in better hands now.
Che, no matter what, I'll always be beside you :)
Kung Kung, it's okay, yeah?

Mommy, she'll always be in your heart, yeah?
You're home, Po. We'll miss you, but you're in better hands now.
Yeah, I've not much time more, so I'll just stop here for now :) CIAO!!

Flawless - Katy McAllister
"FLAWLESS"
There's nothing setting the mood,
But it feels like there's candlelight
Surrounding you.
And I don't know where you've been
All my life, but this feels so wrong
That it feels right.
And I close my eyes, shut them tight,
Throw myself at you, but you don't make a move.
It's like I don't have anything to prove.
CHORUS
And you, to me
Are flawless
From the outside, all the way into the in between.
The truth is, I'm left lingering
On this
And I'm breaking, yeah I'm breaking at the seams.
And I'm not subtle like I used to be.
All this talk about stars,
They say they all die.
But when I'm blinded by the ones in your eyes,
I feel so alive.
And I don't know what's in the cards,
And I didn't know pain
Till you looked my way,
There's no winning at this game.
So we squared off and started the fight,
But it turns out the rules don't apply.
I'll lose everytime, everytime.
CHORUS
The others fell cause there was no seatbelt,
But I'll hold tight for my life cause I like this ride,
Yeah I like this ride.
BRIDGE
You're like the ride that's always dropped my stomach,
And it's something from I'd usually go runnin.
But one glance tucked me in for good,
And you moved me like nobody could.
The universe is setting the mood,
And it feels like
There's candlelight
Surrounding us.
So lean on in for the kill,
You're blowing my mind.
And it's kind of like
I'm dressing up to die.
repeat CHORUS

Today's million-dollar question: If you could resurrect one person, who would you resurrect and why?
* * *
Ola :)
Haiz~ Guess there's really nothing to be happy about. I lost my grandmother that night. You know, she was fine before this. I mean, yeah, she had to be admitted into the hospital, but once she was in there, she gradually got better.
She started eating more, she spoke more, and she even regained her sense of humour.
Everyone was really happy about it. Especially my mom, aunt and grandpa. I'm sure my sister was glad too.
And even now I'm wondering, "Why did it have to end?"
Naturally, I already knew the reason in my mind: It's to bring her suffering to a stop. And honestly, I think I'm really thankful she finally passed on because she doesn't have to tolerate being an invalid anymore.
My grandma was never a person who liked to rely on other people. She was very, very independent. From what my sister said, she was the one who took care of her younger siblings. She had a younger sister and a younger brother. I think I mentioned before, but her brother - who is my Kau Kung - is 19 years younger than my grandma. He's only four years older than my mom.
Yeah~
That Saturday morning, my grandma was finally discharged from Sunway Hospital and brought back home. I, on the other hand, had a lot of tuition lessons going on. In the evening, my mom and brother went up to PJ to see my grandma at 7 o'clock and I stayed behind to study.
I also watched the 2-hour simulcast of Terra Nova.
Then, when my mom and brother came back at 11, not an hour later, my mom got a phone call from my aunt saying my grandma had suddenly stop breathing.
You know that feeling when someone says "My grandma just passed away" or "My grandpa just passed away" or just "My granduncle passed away"? When you hear about the death of someone in your friend's family who aren't their parents? You automatically think, "Oh, it's probably not such a big deal."
Hell, this was torture.
After my dad came back and got dressed, the whole family went into the Teana and drove off to our grandparents' place in PJ.
You wouldn't have wanted to be there at that point of time.
My aunt was literally wailing. She couldn't stop crying. She kept blaming herself and the people around her. She said she should've noticed the signs and done things quicker. She kept calling for my grandma to wake up because she really couldn't accept the fact that she was gone.
Just watching that alone made me cry so hard.
I thought I'd be able to hold it back, you know? But looking at your family member's lifeless body for the first time wasn't something one was supposed to be prepared for. This was a first for me. I'd never seen my paternal grandparents' lifeless bodies before so how was I supposed to react that night?
My grandpa too. He cried and weeped. For someone like my grandpa, who's so frail and weak that we're afraid he might break down any time, we were scared shitless.
I was up till 2 o'clock in the morning, whilst the rest of my family members consoled my aunt and went to settle the police reports. The pastor came and so did my ex-music teacher. Auntie Bala and Fi came too. Auntie Bala cried like anything. They were so close.
My sister was so shocked when she heard the news too. I couldn't imagine how it must've felt for her, because she was the one who'd been with my grandma the longest among us siblings. She stayed with them in PJ for 5 years since her high school was Sri Aman.
She loved my grandma so much.
At 2 I went to sleep because everyone was afraid of my epileptic condition. My parents only went home at 4. They didn't wake me up because they wanted me to get enough sleep.
That's about it for the 29th. Will blog about the 30th in the next post.
