Waiting Outside The Lines - Greyson Chance

You'll never enjoy your life,
living inside the box
You're so afraid of taking chances,
how you gonna reach the top?

Rules and regulations,
force you to play it safe
Get rid of all the hesitation,
it's time for you to seize the day

Instead of just sitting around
and looking down on tomorrow
You gotta let your feet off the ground,
the time is now

I'm waiting, waiting, just waiting,
I'm waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines

Try to have no regrets
even if it's just tonight
How you gonna walk ahead
if you keep living behind

Stuck in my same position,
you deserve so much more
There's a whole world around us,
just waiting to be explored

Instead of just sitting around
and looking down on tomorrow
You gotta let your feet off the ground,
the time is now, just let it go

The world will force you to smile
I'm here to help you notice the rainbow
Cause I know,
What's in you is out there

I'm waiting, waiting, just waiting,
I'm waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines

I'm trying to be patient (I'm trying to be patient)
the first step is the hardest (the hardest)
I know you can make it,
go ahead and take it

I'm Waiting, waiting, just waiting I'm waiting
I'm waiting, waiting, just waiting
I'm waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines

You'll never enjoy your life
Living inside the box
You're so afraid of taking chances,
How you gonna reach the top?

Pray - Justin Bieber

Verse 1:
(And i pray)
I just can't sleep tonight,
Knowing that things ain't right.
It's in the papers, it's on the TV,
It's everywhere that i go.
Children are crying, soldiers are dying,
Some people don't have a home.

Pre Chorus:
But i know there's sunshine behind that rain,
I know there's good times behind that pain (hey)
Can you tell me how i can make a change?

Chorus:
I close my eyes, and i can see a better day,
I close my eyes and pray.
I close my eyes and i can see a better day,
I close my eyes and pray.

Verse 2:
I lose my appetite, knowing kids starve tonight
Am I a sinner? Cuz half my dinner,
Is still on my plate.
Ooh i got a vision, to make a difference,
And it's starting today.

Pre Chorus:
Cuz i know there's sunshine behind that rain, )
I know there's good times behind that pain
Heaven tell me i can make a change.

Chorus:
I close my eyes, and i can see a better day,
I close my eyes and pray. (yeee)
I close my eyes and i can see a better day,
I close my eyes and

Bridge:
I pray for the broken-hearted,
I pray for the life not started.
I pray for all the ones not breathing,
I pray for all the souls in need.
I pray, can you give em one today?

Pre Chorus:
I just can't sleep tonight,
Can someone tell me how to make a change?

End Chorus:
I close my eyes, and i can see a better day,
I close my eyes and pray, (Ooh)
I close my eyes and i can see a better day,
I close my eyes and i pray, (ooh)
I pray, I pray
I close my eyes and pray.

私はここにいる

This isn't really a post for today yet. I'm dedicating this post to a friend of mine who has been through a lot since the year started and I want her to know that I'll always be here if she needs me.

Life has a very uncanny habit of making us feel pathetic, disappointed, miserable *to the extent of suicide* and inferior to others. Just when you think it's the new year and your chance to start anew, it pulls you back into the harsh reality which is the world. Things almost never work 100% according to how we plan for it to. Relationships fall apart somewhere along the way. Family can seem like strangers one day and aliens the next.

But that doesn't mean you can give up.

Do not use this as an excuse to think you should just leave it all behind. Do not brood on what has passed and what cannot be fixed. Do not think that just because it's not working out now, it won't work forever.

Seriously, if I had that way of thinking, I would have stopped writing a millenium ago.

Exaggerating, but that's not the point.

And I beg you, stop thinking that the only person you have is your boyfriend.

All your friends are here for you. Don't make false conjectures about having no one whom you can talk to. You can always talk to me, that's for sure. Unless, of course, you call at a bad time, but that's hardly what I'm trying to say.

You just have to believe that no matter what, we'll always be here for you and we're on your side.

In the long run, things are bound to get better when you try again. Relationships mend when you take the mature step. Even families can be families if you try a little harder.

Hell, as I'm typing this now, who do you think I'm doing it for? If I didn't care peanuts, I wouldn't take the insane trouble of deviating from schoolwork for a while -_-

Three words, darling:

I. Am. Here.

寝る寝る

Ola :)

Sorry it's been really long since I last blogged. Number one reason would be because I haven't had a lot of time to do some pleasure surfing with my iPad and secondly, even if I end up with some free time with my precious device, I only end up watching Castle on it.

For your information, Castle is a TV series I watched about in Macau. It seemed interesting so I decided to watch it online :)

Anyways, starting with today, I woke up really late. At about six o'clock when my maid came in to wake my brother and I up. I was really, really tempted to go to my mother's place and tell her straight that I was way too lazy to go to school.

And that's what I told her.

And she said it's up to me.

But as I walked out, I realized that I had loads of things to do both as a student and as a librarian, so I said "Oh what the heck" and told my mom I was going.

Bleghh~

Then they HAD to decide to play golf -_-

Thankfully they sent me straight up to school because I was carrying loads full of stuff. I had to bring my guitar because Danya couldn't, I had to bring my blue Pacific West unwoven bag with my file and two bottles inside as well as my new Pierre Cardin bag slung on my shoulders -_-

That aside, after getting into school, I attended the morning briefing outside the library and told the President what I've done so far, which is actually not much, but it's nothing too serious.

Trust me, I've got a list of things I want them to do tomorrow :)

I think -_-

:P

We had BM for our first subject and I spent it - as did most of my classmates - finishing my Rumusan homework because I hadn't had the time to do it justice.

Bleghh~

After that, we had Physics on the same floor. It was not too bad, but I still hate it :) haha. Recess came after and I managed to down a benjo burger before going back up to class.

Next subject was... Oh God, I can't remember -_-

But I DO remember after that was Chemistry. Oh, now I remember. It was History. Haha. Spent it a floor below where we saw a video related to our subject :)

What the highlight for me today, though, was the Chemistry. To be precise, our FIRST Chemistry lesson. It was so cool. I mean, yeah, we were late, but we learnt that Chemistry could be so fascinating :) I love it already :)

Haha.

After that, we had Additional Maths. I love that too :) it's so challenging and thrilling, no? It gets me so worked up trying to get the answer. Haha.

Went for the audition thingymajing after school. Turned out pretty okay. We were kinda very out of tune so that made me a little pissed, but I'm not that mad :) it's just that I'm not satisfied. If only we had more time to practice, you know? Yeah~

Doesn't matter though, because we got in anyway and we'll practice like shit to make sure we shine on stage :P

At four o'clock I went back home. Ate a somewhat agreeable lunch of tuna bread, ham bread and mushroom soup at home because the rest of my family members turned on me by having lunch at Jaya Jusco :P

Watched a little Castle again then went to have class with my ex-teacher Puan Roh :) she was alright, like usual, you know? But I got to know of something very disturbing and nothing can make me change the way I think of that person ever again.

Ugh~ Disgusting.

It was quite hard to concentrate in class considering I only grabbed two hours of sleep n the morning. Now you know why I wanted to skip school? :P Of course, this stays between you and this post eh? :P

Yeah~

Went out to Leisure Mall after that to get some stationery and books for my brother and I. I tried to find Shinrei Tantei Yakumo in Popular but they were still sold out :( waaa~

I just came back not too long ago after a very satisfying dinner at Esquire Kitchen. Had my favourite 'yu sang' finally :) mwahahaha.

That's about all. I have to go soon because I insist on having my beauty sleep :P CIAO!!

P/S: if we're lucky, I'll blog tomorrow :P

~30/12/2010~

~For your information, I blogged about the 27th, 28th and the 29th in the previous posts :) Enjoy~

Okie okie, about the 30th eh?

Woke up at time eight thirty and had breakfast with the whole family. For some reason the subject of our lively conversation became my longest living enemy and E E Nan insisted I told her what she did to deserve my revenge.

Haha.

:)

Chilled back in the hotel room at ten thirty and toured round Macau on shuttle busses a little after noon. Got extremely annoyed after a while in The Venetian because everyone was smoking. Went to Starbucks and had my chocolate cream chip but it wasn't enough because for one, I could still faintly smell smoke, and secondly, there was no WiFi connection.

Curses.

Came back to the hotel at ten o'clock. And... I can't remember what happened after that :) CIAO!!

P/S: Honestly, on New Year's Eve and New Year's itself, nothing important really happened except that we spent it high up in the sky :) parted ways with our grandparents and aunt after that and went back in the car my dad's best friend brought :)

Reached home at two something and slept by three.

~29/12/2010~

~For your information, I blogged about the 27th and the 28th in the previous posts :) Enjoy~

Ola :) As for today, woke up on time, put on a shirt then went to the fourth floor to have breakfast with our family minus our parents who were going to join us only later.

Had a very filling breakfast which consisted mostly of eggs and bread. Haha. Oh and chicken too. Mwahaha.

Went back to the bedroom at nine thirty.

Mostly packed and then bathed. While my sister bathed, I read Pride and Prejudice again.
After that, we all took our stuff and went downstairs where we took a few pictures with the camera on the tripod before we left on the tour van.

I wasn't so psyched about our next visit though. We went to a pearl factory. Despite it didn't really interest me, the effects they did with the ruby was very interesting. Haha.

Popo bought a necklace that she liked. It looked extremely good on her too. Haha. That, of course, was after we listened to a full fledged lecture by some woman and then the apparent boss of the entire factory. Bleghh... I was not very interested, since for one, I didn't really understand Chinese.

-_-

Bleghh~

This was probably the best lunch of the lot - but that would be thanks to my unusual liking to the nuggets that mysteriously appeared on our table despite it being a Chinese restaurant.

There was a really cute dog that I concluded belonged to the people at the restaurant because it ventured within the restaurant after we went in. It looked quite sick though and that saddened me -_-

Oh well...

After lunch, we went onto the van. It used it to be the only place safe from the disgusting odor of cigarettes but some jackass came at the door to sell off his goods and all the cigarette puffs went inside.

Bastard.

We met at the exit point of Zhuhai when it was time to leave for Macau. Got acquainted with our Macau tour guide after we parted with Coco - whom I'm sure you would've decipher from now is the name of our first tour guide. She was most humouring and at two forty five, we boarded the bus.

Saw and took pictures at the gold flower tourist attraction. Very interesting. Kung Kung rode the wheelchair probably for the first time since we bought it. He looked absolutely adorable :P

Here's a short list and description of what we did on our Macau touring:

The Venetian - it's actually a casino/hotel. Very interesting and scenic. Took a few pictures inside. Met with the tour guide again at about five thirty.

Macau temple - went to buy Portuguese tarts here amongst other stuff like biscuits because they were giving out free samples.

Had an ice cream too, but it wasn't very nice. Saw three adorable poodles. Wanted to touch them so much :(

St. Paul's church - bleghh... Was part of a very long journey down to where we were supposed to have our dinner. Got really pissed at this time because I inhaled loads of smoke prior to the journey.

Which reminds me, do you know what I detested most about our trip in whole? People there were allowed to smoke anywhere and everywhere. Eeesh~ Not to mention the drivers there are crazy and beyond help. They drive like five-year-olds are able to get their drivers' license.

I was thinking to myself that Macau's the only place my brother can get his license :P

Dinner was at some place. Not so bad, but it wasn't all to my fancy. No soft drinks too so...

:(

Headed off to hotel next. The place we were to stay in for this half of our vacation was Metropark Hotel. Checked in and pre-arranged our transport for Friday.

Lugged luggage into room. Chilled for a while then left again at the ten thirty with my two aunts, parents and siblings.

Walked around the area with the family minus grandparents. We all decided to go to the Wynn Hotel because they were showing splendid variations of how the water danced at the fountain place. Watched many of them and was awed by how meticulously done the preparations were.

Dad took videos. Will be uploaded onto Facebook but not by me -_-

Went into Wynn and witnessed the most beautiful display of showing tourists their posed attractions in the hotel which is a tree made of gold and a crystal chandelier-looking thingymajing.

Legs got really tired. Went back to hotel after buying some stuff at seven eleven - orange fanta, Jagabee and iced water. Yumm...

Haha.

At twelve o'clock we went back to the hotel and my sister and I watched Medium for a while then slept at about one something after setting my alarm.

That's about it then :) CIAO!!

~28/12/2010~

~For your information, I blogged about the previous day in the previous post :) Enjoy~

Ola :) here's of the twenty-eighth :)

Golly, this was by far the worst "sleep in" incident of all holidays -_- Slept in by accident though. See, my iPad alarm was set to ring at seven fifty and seven fifty five but my sister didn't get up at eight when I called her. I swore I thought she'd have woken up when I called her but...

-_-

Let's just say we only woke up at eight thirty three when Dad called.

-_-

The breakfast selection was very appetizing. It was a real pity I wasn't able to pack everything to bring into the hotel room :P

*Avoids sister's gaze*

:P

Had a very satisfying and full fledged breakfast anyway. Had two different kinds of fried eggs. Great chicken. Ate toast with scrambled eggs.

As for my drink, I had soya bean milk :) Quite refreshing :)

After bathing and everything, we set off towards going for our first tour around Zhuhai. To summarize our whole tour for the day, here's what we did:

Bao Fu Ling place - Heard dude talking about the medicine and it's effectiveness. After that, they brought in some buckets filled with some kind of medicine liquid that you're supposed to soak your feet in. It was really hard for me at first because I was really bad at dealing with hot stuff. In time though, I got my feet used to the heat, which then became relaxing :)

Refused to be foot massaged following the medicine liquid treatment -_- if there's anything I'm terribly afraid of, it's cockroaches, spiders, other creepy crawlies and having my feet handled by massagers. Left the place after purchasing a box of Bao Fu Lin.

Rock Formation place - very beautiful natural place with lots of greenery. Used cable car to get to the top with my mom's sister. Very intriguing. I loved the natural beauty of the place because for one, it was full of mother nature and secondly, the air was really really fresh :) Took pictures of the scenery to upload onto my blog. Will do that later :P Took cable car down again whilst dad, brother and aunt took the sliding car down. No way was I getting on anything resembling a roller coaster :)

After we left the attractions, we had lunch. Great variety of things to eat there. Crackers, veggie, fried tau fu, soup, duck, etc.

Quite unfortunately, the chicken was bad. It literally had more bones than actual meat.

After lunch, we started the second half of our tour. Spent loads of time at the following tourist attraction: the Silkworm factory.

Saw how silkworms looked like, their history, their life span activities and how they spun silk. Their products had really nice texture and I would have loved to buy 'em but parents wouldn't give in to their persistence, or mine :P

After that, decided to leave and Coco dropped everyone asides me and grandparents to shop somewhere. Left us at the hotel and were told to be ready by five fifty for dinner, I assumed.

It was four thirty when we were all up in my grandparents' hotel room. I used that time to update iCal so I wouldn't forget anything that happened on the whole duration of the trip :) With what extra time I had, I spent reading Pride And Prejudice.

Got ready and waited downstairs for Coco to arrive.

Fetched the rest of my family members at the shopping mall then left to restaurant. Our dinner was okay, and filling. Had all kinds of different food yet again as well as a different kind of soft drink - Sprite.

Talked and laughed and everything and left at seven ten.

Went back to the inn and watched My Fair Lady with my sister after that :)

We both enjoyed it overall but we weren't satisfied with the ending :) After that, I read Pride and Prejudice until twelve thirty then set the alarm before going to sleep in my thermals :) That's about it :) will blog about the next day in the next post :) CIAO!!

~27/12/2010~

Ola :) Finally, a post about the Macau trip right? :P

After my parents left to attend a relative's wedding, I converted some videos such as Shrek 4, Despicable Me and watched Pride and Prejudice on the iMac. Sister then called me up to watch Taken. Watched a little Jurassic Park then shifted to 2012 because it was between that and The Last Song and Angels and Demons.

Had shake for dinner whilst watching TV.

Before parents came back from wedding and chased us off to bed, I brought her laptop into the room to convert My Fair Lady into mp4 format. Mwahaha.

Slept for a while, waiting for My Fair Lady to finish converting. When two o'clock finally came, my mom came into the room to "wake" us up. She was quite surprised to find we weren't sleeping, but we told her we slept a while first. Before we left, I double-checked everything to make sure I didn't leave anything out :) Left house to airport at three thirty.

Felt really excited but tired at the same time :)

Met up with our grandparents and mom's sister at the airport. We then had a very delicious meal of lo mai kai for "breakfast" after checking in and stuff :) It tasted so very good.

Haha.

Boarded airplane after a really long walk to the supposed airplane. Bleghh~ To top it all off, I was to push my grandma on the wheelchair to the aeroplane so I was really tired out by the time we arrived.

Not that I was adamant about pushing my grandma with the wheel chair, of course, I'm just saying it made me even more tired than I already was.

On the plane, we all loaded our stuff into the small cubby hole atop our heads. I sat next to my sister next to the window *where she always insists on sitting -_-* Immediately after I settled down properly *which was probably after the plane took off*, I had 100 Plus for a drink after sleeping for about forty five minutes. Then, slept all the way until touchdown. So much for indulging in iPad activities to pass time -_- Haha.

We probably landed at around ten fifteen maybe? Met up with the tour guide, who led us to the bus and took us to where we had to leave for Zhuhai.

Went through loads of more procedures. Great -_- bleghh... Honestly, I hate going through all that passport checking thingymajings at the airport because it's always such a hassle. As if it's not bad enough that we have to do it once, we have to do it more than that -_-

Well, at least my grandma and I could use the disabled section. It was all quite cool I guess because we always finished faster than the rest :P

In Zhuhai, we had lunch. Loads of different kinds of food. Not too bad. For drinks, had 7Up. Haha.
After that, went to see the statue of the fish lady, literally yu nu in Chinese. Took a lot of pictures before going to this tea factory where they let us taste different kinds of tea.

Unfortunately, People were very persistent about us buying their products. Really annoying, to tell you the truth. After a little subtle pushing, they start seriously lowering their prices in hopes that we would give in to their desperate pleas.

That's when I realized that I am actually unbelievably naive. Lord knows how many times I would have been suckered into buying their products if my parents weren't there -_-

We still bought some tea though because they actually really tasted good :) Nonetheless, we weren't as nice as to buy their specialty tea because we didn't like that at all :P

We then went to the hotel we were going to be staying in - City Inn - to rest for about an hour before leaving for dinner. Got pissed with sister because she was pestering me to hurry up. The air was cold between us *as in seriously "I won't talk to you" cold* It only loosened back when dinner came. Had it at some seafood restaurant.

I didn't enjoy the atmosphere and surrounding. People were allowed to smoke and I couldn't bring myself to enjoy the food.

Nonetheless, the food was more or less edible.

After that, came back to hotel and ate oranges while the rest went shopping. Sister came back at around 11 and I shared an egg tart with her and she shared her coffee roll with me. Feeling bored, we watched about ten minutes of My Fair Lady before she decided to sleep. I continued watching Despicable Me and a little of Shrek Four before I switched some music on and read Pride and Prejudice.

Slept at twelve :)

That's about all for the twenty-seventh :) will blog about the next day in the next post :) CIAO!!

How We Do This - Sterling Knight *Sonny With A Chance*

I'm used to being on my own
Keeping my heart shut down
If I don't go there
I won't get hurt
But the pretty girl said
if you're never ever gonna get hurt again
Are you ever gonna feel another thing my friend?
and I like the way she talks

And I li-li-li-li-like the way she spins my world
around
and my he-he-he-heart's good for one more kick
So how do we do this?
Cause I believe you're worth it
How do we do this?
What does it take?
And is it gonna break me down?
I found, that nothing can come from nothing
So you'd better come round, I'm down
How do we do this?

So tell me if you're ready
Cause things are getting heavy
And I don't wanna fall apart
Cause spending time with you,
Was all I wanna do
You know it's scary, giving up heart
And you give me that something
Been waiting so long
And you make me smile
That's why I wrote this song

And I li-li-li-li-like the way you spin my world around
and my he-he-he-heart's good for one more kick
So how do we do this?
Cause I believe you're worth it
How do we do this?
What does it take?
And is it gonna break me down?
I found, that nothing can come from nothing
So you'd better come round, I'm down
How do we do this?

I'll risk it
One kiss is,
All that it's taking
Arms shakin'
heart breakin'
I think you'll be worth the pain

And I li-li-li-li-like the way she spins my world
around
and my he-he-he-heart's good for one more kick
So how do we do this?
Cause I believe you're worth it
How do we do this?
What does it take?
And is it gonna break me down?
I found, that nothing can come from nothing
So you'd better come round, I'm down
How do we do this?

~4/01/2011~

Ola :)

This time's really been long and I know I have yet to give an update on our trip to Macau but I promise, they'll see the light soon :P After all, you can't expect me to have did all that jotting down in my iCal for nothing, right? :P

Anyways, this post is for the fourth of January. I woke up at five thirty-something thanks to my trusty alarm clock on my iPad :) I mean, I can't use my songs as the alarm ring tone but at least it gets me up, right? Besides, using my own songs makes it kind of awkward to listen to it at other times because then when you hear it, it strikes you as an alarm and not as your favourite song -_-

That aside, after bathing, I woke my brother up and went downstairs. Really didn't feel like drinking shake today so I ended up skipping it. I think I didn't even have Milo -_-

Mom and brother finally came down soon and after packing some extra stuff into my bag - such as my lunch (fried rice) and my two big bottles of chlorophyll and tea mix, we got into the car and drove off.

To my immense surprise, my mom dropped me off at the entrances of our schools. Haha. Normally I'd have to beg -_-

There was nothing much at morning briefing today except we got to know which days we we were supposed to do our duties on and which category we are currently in. Unfortunately for me, my duty day is Monday -_- well, at least it's no longer till four o'clock. It's till three now.

Oh, and I'm in the Catalogue department.

Asides that, we got to know that we have to stay back on Thursday until four o'clock for something. I have yet to know what.

Assembly today was boring -_- for those in the higher secondary forms, they were probably bored to death hearing the same ol' speech on discipline yet again just because the form 1s haven't heard 'em.

Bleghh~

First subject for the day today was English. Mwahaha. It was then decided that I was once again to be the AJK thanks to Fina because she called my name when our teacher asked if someone could collect our "work" for that day.

What was our work?

A short/long essay on what change/changes we want to see in ourselves. So, I talked about my physical condition and how it's bad for me to maintain my unhealthy dietary habits as well as the risks that come with being obese.

:)

After that was civic which brings me to why in the world we're still studying that. I mean, not to say that it's a useless subject, but I think that if they're not gonna help with SPM then I don't see the significance.

In other words, I guess I AM saying that it's a useless subject.

-_-

Anyhoo, the teacher just sat there and did nothing. Come to think of it,he was probably just the substitute teacher. A lot of our teachers have been playing truant and not coming to class. Wonder why.

-_-

During recess, I met up with Shuen and we had our lunches at the canteen, though Shuen forgot to bring her lunch with her. Haha. After that, we went back up to our respective classes.

The only thing that really cracked me up today was our add maths teacher, she was really hilarious, I swear it. See, she has problems remembering names so she kept forgetting our names as she went along.

Really funny. It's been a while since I've laughed so hard in class :)

After that, I went home at two thirty.

I actually had a lengthy discussion with my dad at the table whilst having lunch about some issues in school and it's like I've been enlightened on something.

For one, my dad actually makes a lot of sense in a weird, twisted way. I mean, if he wasn't there to tell me otherwise, my naive personality would've led me to loads of money loss. From now on, I have to be extra careful.

Not to say I'm being stingy or whatever, but I can't go around giving money to every Tom, Dick and Harry that asks for it, right?

Anyways, after that, I bathed and the both of us went to Leisure Mall to check out our wonky modem. Turns out we don't have the right username and password for the streamyx thingymajing.

Bleghh~

Went to Popular to find my brother's book but it couldn't find it so I went to see the amine pile and guess what? They've got Shinrei Tantei Yakumo and Otome Youkai Zakuro out already. Do you know how badly I wanted them?

But NO... I had to wait, searching for other nice anime :(

I didn't get to buy it :(

Anybody read this, now you know what to get me for my birthday :P

After that, we came back and I watched a little TV before retiring downstairs to finally decide to blog using Pages and then transfer 'em to my actual blog.

That's about all then :) CIAO!!
